Can I get a few opinions on the following. Doesn't look we'll get enough runners for the LMS to do all 38 weeks. Say we get 24 for example does everyone like waiting until week 12 or so and knocking people out then or do you prefer starting with 1 out per week from week 1 and then when we get to 3 we wait until the last week to settle the winner?

I prefer option 2 since it's more fun when everyone has different squads at the start and to lol at the people with a **** one. That's prob what I'm gonna do unless everyone says to the contrary

For lms, I think I would rather exclude the 1st GW (as it is a complete ****ery) then do 1 team out until we get down to 3-5 players, then pause until the last 3-5 GWs.

Obviously some might think this is a terrible idea but it's just a suggestion

Maybe just run it until whatever week it would naturally finish? Or do people prefer it to finish on the last game of the season?

yeah, if there are say 31 entrants I'd just end it on week 31. But running it out to the end once it gets HU seems fine too.

Happy with any of the above proposals for LMS but I'll throw out an alternative idea to make it last the full season: start the season removing one player per week only if lowest score is less than X points (set X so that most weeks we won't lose someone but occasionally we might when someone has a shocker). Continue like this until we get to the point where we need to lose one player per week to finish in time, and from that point we lose a player every week regardless of score.

Edit to add: looking through last season's thread, I think I'd set X somewhere around 25-30.

As usual, Silk is spot on. That idea sounds best imo

Although if week 1 lols are required we could have week 1 someone deff gets eliminated, then Silks idea after that...
