How's everyone finding the game? I feel like it might come down to who forgets to log in and change their team for the second game day (I keep coming close).

It's interesting, although I'm starting to think I got my strategy a bit wrong. It might have been worthwhile leaving some money in the bank to play the loan system (Rooney now suspended for 3, and I could have loaned in Aguero/Falcao/RVP if I had left a little money in reserve). I actually know of someone who left 8m in the bank, so that he could loan in any top tier player for any base price player when he feels like it, although those points penalties for loans could really add up over the course of the season.

Looks like I'll pretty much just be sticking to my original squad and hoping to get it right in January. My squad is quite Everton/Tottenham heavy at the moment because of the number of MD2/MD3 games they have, so my chances will depend a lot on them performing. Would say that overall I prefer the original game, but still glad that I played this too.

My initial feeling is that the cost of having 8m in bank in terms of squad quality isn't worth the value it adds in being able to play the loan system to its fullest. I think maybe I did miss a trick though in not leaving a little bit behind in case Ageuro or Sturridge go on a run.

Yeah i think £8mil is a bit too much, maybe a few million at most.

It will be interesting to see how the squad affects things. I went for a fairly top heavy set up which is fine for now, but i might be regretting if injuries and suspensions occur.
