Interested in opinions from the league and commish on this. It looks Yahoo will allow you to pick up a free agent and then drop them back on waivers without ever having held them through a game. Since it takes a few days to clear waivers, you can effectively stop anyone else from playing that player that week. Other leagues would immediately make the dropped player a FA again. So for example, you could basically pick up / drop the viable streaming defenses and make them unusable for this week.

Thoughts? Like I said, it is technically within the Yahoo rules for some reason, but isn’t really within the spirit of the game imo.

I don’t believe that’s true. I think waiver period ends Sunday morning and then it’s a free for all.

Well the specific example for this week is that someone picked up Ten DST, then dropped them so that no one can play them on Thursday. I assume it works the same if you pick someone up and drop them on Saturday, but I am not sure
