Which sources, touts and lineup builders?

I'm probably not gonna do a breakout post on this right now, suffice to say just follow the Dodds blog for an example of doing the least amount of work possible. The comments are great, especially on weeks when people copy him and happen to lose.

Crazy. Then again, on a bad day that % of the field is dead money.

Just look how much draftkings rakes every nfl weekend. If the legal situation is worked out these companies will be printing money.

Also feel it's important they keep their contests fun (I.E. Gpps that pay 5 percent or less and 30 percent of spots are not fun.

Apparently the RG tout that won everything on DK last night used 1 of the 11 players from his "premium" article on any of his 150 unique lineups, lol. I don't really care, buyer beware and whatnot, but another tout just started this thread to defend him

https://rotogrinders.com/threads/con...ime-in-1517117

I've watched them delete every post since it went up, lol, post after post. It's like they're trying to look like crooks.

Touts touting touts is a perfect fit for that site.

Any idea where the merger leaves DFS golf? I know there was a pretty massive split between the two over whether it should be run.

Are we even sure a merger would mean merging platforms? I think there has to be a real chance we have two standalone platforms with a single owner.

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a merger ?

Joining of the offices with joint legal teams etc consolidates a lot of duplicated costs. I would expect this short term for sure a la PS/FT

I'm assuming if they don't do that it will be closer to dk since their CEO is the CEO

I don't see how they would be able to run both DK and FD and also cutting workforce. Guess it depends on how much money they need to trim, but I'd say FD and DK will both be a platform for the foreseeable future or perhaps they put one up for sale.

Will the guarantees stay the same or double?

They will stay at 150 entry maximum, so no way that guarantees double, IMO.

Might still see both types of contests, at least for the near term (the FD one and the DK one).

How about cut in half or less as an option (half the workforce for both brands)?

Another unofficial, unsubstantiated merger report. They're basically entering the realm of clickbait.

FWIW, I have heard it from several sources as well, independent of any report/post made.

The max LU restrictions are considered consumer protections and are law in some states (like Massachusetts.)

New DK contest creation is absurdly bad

Besides saving money on legal fee's, it's still expensive af to acquire new customers, and their respective userbases overlap. If there is one site after this, how much volume is lost from players who max entered on both of the old sites (basically how many players do you think are going from 300 down to 150?)

How is this helpful for the growth of the industry?
