I would prefer this over another Sunday draft on the 6th since our low stakes draft is on and I am not good at multitasking... lol.

We did one last week and it was done within a week with people from various timezones. It was quite fun. Lots of time to stew over picks etc.

I'm definitely in favor of a slow draft, especially due to the time zone differences. And yes, it is a lot of fun, but also takes some patience.

Once every has joined the league, we can make a final decision, but it seems like the majority is in favor of a slow draft.

I still need $ from AussieJack, Dessed7, and sixfour. Sixfour did PM me and told me he was on holiday and would pay once he was back later this week, so it seems like he's definitely in. Dessed7 posted today, so I'll assume he's good, but he hasn't responded to my PMs yet.

AussieJack hasn't posted ITT or responded to PMs, and the reason I included him is because he posted in the 2p2 FF general thread saying he wanted to play. If I don't hear from him within a day or so, we may have to offer the spot to bergeroo. Especially if we do want to do the slow draft. We need to get it going. Those 3 also still need to join the league on Sleeper.

Andrew44 has paid, but he hasn't joined the league on Sleeper yet. I'm sure he will get there haha.

Correct. No superflex. They're fun, but I kind of wanted a more traditional league from a draft standpoint of not valuing QBs so high. I figured 3 regular flex spots would add to the intrigue of building the RB and WR depth.

Dessed is the only one we are waiting on. It looks like he hasn't been active on 2p2 since yesterday morning when he posted ITT. If I don't hear from him by the end of today, I'm going to have to offer his spot to bergeroo if he's still interested or someone else. Unfortunately, with the season start 9 days away, we can't keep waiting since we are planning to slow draft.

Since we have 9 people paid and joined, I don't think it's fair to keep waiting. If Dessed or bergeroo check in before someone else claims the spot, I'm happy to give it to one of them. I've also sent both a PM to check this thread ASAP the next time they are on.

But neither of them have been active on 2p2 within the last 24 hours, so I'm not sure how long we will have to wait.

Sounds fair. For a slow draft we need to get cracking tommorrow (ideally) or the day after to give us time in case of time zone issues when drafting.

The draft has begun. 8 hour slow clock, so that should give everyone a chance to check it out. After we get through round 1, it should pick up I’d imagine.

I sent a message on Sleeper, but I also wanted to bump this thread since not everyone is checking Sleeper right now.

I want to convert this league into a dynasty startup with 10 teams. I'm going to offer the spots to the original league members, and then if people want to drop, I'll start searching for replacements.

I'd like to do a $50 buyin, with this season and next season paid for, since it's a dynasty league. And then each year we will always be paying for the next season to help add a little protection to people simply dropping out after a season.

The lineup would be QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/WR/TE/Superflex/Flex probably with a 16 player bench and then I'd like to discuss doing a taxi squad.

Oh and for the draft, I'd like to do a slow draft/fast draft hybrid where we slow draft the first 10 or so rounds and then set a date or time for a fast draft to finish out the rest.

Let me know either here or on Sleeper if you're in or out.

Nice. You can be first alternate for now, but I doubt all of the other 9 will play, so there is a good chance to get in. I could also be down to expand it to 12 teams instead of 10 if there is enough interest.

It's a 16 player bench. Since it's dynasty, I was going for a 25 player roster, not including the Taxi.
