In the past, I've run (and others, too) something similar. We'll use MFL.

Slow draft starting Tuesday morning.

Full PPR
4-pt Passing TDs
1QB, 1RB, 1WR, 1TE, 4Flex, D, K

We can go as big as 12, but it'll get scary after the 2nd round.

In this format are players locked on your team for the duration as soon as we draft, or are we able to make roster moves until the first game starts?

For example, if I draft a player that is a surprise inactive for wildcard games can I dump him for an undrafted?

Draft, set it, and forget it. As soon as teams are eliminated, those players earn 0s for the rest of the playoffs.

We started the other draft early as we weren't sure if it would get done in time, and we got half done last night.

There's been talk about a 3rd pool, but it would likely be smallish (5-6), so we'd make it a 2QB and add some flex spots.

We've been doing slow-ish drafts on MFL. You know, draft when you can. We finished draft #1 in a couple of days.

Draft #2 is in the 4th round and we started at 1 today.

So the slow draft idea can still work.
