Well Ladies and Gentleman,

It's time for the 3rd Annual NFL Survivor Pool. It is a local New Orleans pool and is hosted on runyourpool.com.

Last year a 2+2er took home the $10k prize which was fun to see. The buy in is $105 per entry with each participant allowed (3) max entries.

I wouldn't say it's a rake. The site charges a small amount for hosting, and you always get a few people that send via PayPal and forget to use the "friends or family" option, so I incur some fees. Just allows me to be sure I don't come out pocket while putting this together.

I believe the site is the one charging a rake, I'm just being reimbursed for paying the "rake"

Lol its a local pool I run that I've always extended the invitation to fellow 2+2ers. I'm not asking for people to join, but rather inviting them to participate.

If the $5 means that much to you, don't participate. I'm not going to come out of pocket for putting a pool together.

If I had to put a number on it, maybe 10% of the pool are 2+2 members and it's been won by a member both years.

$5 is fair "rake". I've run pools before and inevitably you do often end up down a little bit.

I may or may not enter. I much prefer Yahoo run pools than other sites.

he's ran the game the 2 previous years. the previous threads should vouch for themselves. beyond that, i don't know. i guess the same could have been said for tdomeski's pool.

this is why pools on here should be run with multi-sig bitcoin addresses. will be pretty lol when it becomes commonplace and we laugh at how we used to trust just sending random internet people sums of money in the hopes that we'd get it back

if u dont like the rake then just dont ****ing be in the pool - don't try to convince some dude to change things up with a long running pool because some random on a forum recommends it.

Dom's a regular so him vouching is solid...but like with any online pool or FFB league you should always be prepared to lose your money or get scammed.
