I was in one of the Liam drafts. His team was pretty bad. He had Herbert and Maye as his QB's. I was wondering what was going on.

Doing an auto draft now. But I went through and added players to the queue based on my draft positions and just hoping for the best.

So far thru 8 rounds I do have a nice Mahomes/Kelce/Worthy/Pickens stack going, so fingers crossed the rest works out as nicely.

You guys think there is a better time of day to draft ?

I have it set up for 3-6-8-3 when auto draft is selected so I'm not sure how I ended up with 2-6-8-4. Maybe because I manually added players to the queue and didn't have any QBs left to choose from?

Yeah, it's possible queued players change things up, but no idea on the software.

Looks like Aiyuk and the 49ers are doing an about face to restart negotiations.

I think unless we get something official, I'm going to finish draft season assuming Aiyuk will be a 49er w1.

This is fun, but hard. I got totally lost after round 6. Panic mode set in. 30 seconds goes by quick. Realized 3 of my top WRs all had a bye in week 12, more panic. After the draft realized my WRs overall pretty much suck. Take a flyer instead of Thielen. Geez

Questions:

How do you toggle between the draft board and where you pick the players? Every time I clicked on something, I left the draft entirely, or screwed up the interface in other ways.

Without seeing the draft board, I just had to count the players to see what round I was in. Unless it's where you pick players and I didn't see it.

Is there a sound option? Mine was completely silent. Would be nice to get an audio cue when your about to be up.

In the NFL tab didn't see any $3-$5 contests tonight except for 1 charity game. Cheapest one was the $7 poodle. Am I missing something here As well.

Above where your drafted players are listed is a tic/tac/toe looking icon. Hit that and you can see the draft board. Hit the X at the top right of the draft board to go back.

I'm pretty sure that if you download the app there is an alert. I draft from my desktop and don't hear it there but I hear it from my Ipad which has the app.

You should have drafted Geno especially having Lockett and Ken W on the team.

I assume that is Curtis Samuel because if not I'm gonna be jealous. Your WR's are a bit weak but you are strong at all the other positions.

If you’re only looking at the player list, there is a scrolling bar at the top that tracks both pick by round and total picks. I.e 2.12|24.

$7 is the lowest buy in standard contest, besides the $5 charity. There is a $3 Pomeranian superflex contest running, though.

Agree with mong. For a non-wr heavy team, that’s pretty solid.

That’s a fun team. I feel guilty every time I pass on Mahomes. Just feels like either stacking Chiefs or Lamar/Andrews stack are going to be the guys you needed in 4-6.

Mid-4th Mahomes, 5th round Chiefs WR and 6th round Kittle or Pitts is nice too, especially if you started with 3 WRs.

Theory question: when you have a top 4qb on UD would you rather have a steady veteran as qb2 (Geno/Carr/etc…) or an upside young qb w risk (Bryce/Nix/etc…)? Assume both are or can be dbl stacked with a bring back

I had Lamar and both a NO dbl w Adams and CAR dbl with McMillan. I took Bryce, but regretted it instantly.

I do both based on stacking partners and don’t think much about it.

But I’d say it’s probably better to go for youth upside, since you’re not expecting them to hit your lineup often, anyways.

Carr is unlikely to be benched by the end of the season, but there is a world where the Saints see what they have with Rattler. Dimes has contract injury clause benching risks.

Guys like Geno, Baker, etc. shouldn’t have this concern.

I’d say Cousins actually has an underweighted concern if the Falcons are out of it late that we see Penix. Or if Cousins simply isn’t good anymore. Deshaun probably has some too, especially if he sucks since they have Jameis.

Bryce and Levis should be playing unless injured.

And then obviously the late rookies have uncertainty of when they’ll hit the field.

Re Carr specifically, I think Dennis Allen is fired midseason, and who knows what that looks like. But that expectation is one reason I’m still taking Kendre late.

Also, with regard to w17 stacking, that should, in theory, be used more the later you go in the draft. I know doing SF/Det, Carr/Adams, etc early feels like you’re adding more upside, but those picks should be hitting your lineup regardless, based on draft capital. And I still do it. But it’s the cheaper guys that you’re chasing more generated upside on.
