Meh, the Panthers traded up for Legette and Canales is stoked to have him. Thielen was brought in by the last coaches and is about to be 34 years old.

Legette over Thielen is a classic end of season rookie upside best ball play. I think Thielen is likely to be frozen out, especially in 2 WR sets, by the end of the season.

I think Legette will both run traditional routes and be a manufactured touch guy, which is also nice for best ball.

Thielen also faded pretty hard the second half of last season, while also already showing decline before leaving Minny.

Also, on a team that is very likely to not be in playoff contention, the odds are simply in Legette’s favor being a round 1 rookie for weeks 15-17.

I’m also pretty low on Diontae at his price.

Don’t disagree, I have 9% legette and 4% Thielen, but I think there are definitely legit reasons to take both over eachother structurally

Legette is a pretty mid prospect despite where he was taken, so he could just suck, but he has a ton of upside

Oh yeah, Legette could be complete trash. I don’t have any dynasty shares and likely won’t have him in redraft, but I love his profile for best ball.

My fear with Thielen is that he doesn’t have the theoretical safe floor that he appears to have. Especially since we traded for Diontae. But I definitely respect the theoretical structural reasons.

With that said, Canales’s history as a WR coach makes me more bullish on the two guys he brought in over a carryover from a bad coaching regime.

And that’s no knock on Thielen, he’s just old. But at least he’s cheap. ETR has had him like 20 spots above ADP all off-season.

I don't have a strong take on McMonkey, but 31 spots past ADP in my current draft seemed like too good a deal to pass up.

I took Parkinson even though he has the same bye as Travis. He goes with Stafford. I always wait to late too get a second TE when I have an elite.

I considered going with just 4 RB's but Jones and Conner tend to miss games. I normally would pivot to WR after A Jones but the next 20 all looked the same to me.
