I also do quite a few teams with 2 of the top 12, where it’s something like Njoku/Bowers or Kittle/Njoku. But I generally wouldn’t go super bully with something like LaPorta/Kelce.
I agree going elite plus late and taking a third .

Draft number 3 on UD. I still don't get how the position buttons work. If I press QB the QB's should show up right?

QB...J Allen, A Rodgers, Daniel Jones

RB....J Taylor, James Cook, Zack Charbonette, Ray Davis, Kalil Herbert

REC....G Wilson, C Kupp, X Worthy, R Rice, K Shakir, Mike Williams, Roman Wilson, Jalen Mcmillan.

TE...Kittle, Bowers

I had to take a third QB because Allen and Rodgers are off week 12. I have a feeling D Jones is gonna have a surprise good year now that he has a legit weapon.

I don't know about pairing James Cook and Ray Davis together. I love Ray so I had to take him. I like correlating QB/RB/REC on high scoring teams. I was hoping to get Samuel but he went so I grabbed Shakir which I don't love.

I love my top two WRs but it gets sketch after that. It could work. I didn't get Mahomes to go with X Worthy and R Rice but I can see a scenario where these guy's go off and Josh Allen is able to match or beat Mahomes points.

I think people are sleeping on Mike Williams.

I think Roman Wilson can work his way up the depth chart. The Steelers know how to pick WRs. Van Jefferson? Please! Roman is a week 17 bring back opposite my KC guys.

I love my TE's. I got great value on both of these guy's.

Hopefully I get to week 17 and the Buffalo/Jets game goes off.

I've gone bully TE once. I grabbed Laporta and then Andrews fell to me in the late 6th. I had to do it.

The pain is when you go Josh late third, Kelce early 4th, and then Kincaid falls to the late 5th. I usually just take Kincaid and hope my late upside WRs hit.

Is Kelce really still ahead of Kincaid in redraft?

Kelce has been a late 2nd to mid 3rd round pick and Kincaid is 5th/6th. I have been fading Kelce

In a 20 round draft is there a point where it doesn't matter who you draft?

How often does a guy you need to win win fall to rounds 16-20?

I just view this guys as someone I need to score for me 1-2 weeks and they did their job . Anything more is a bonus .

Shame on me for not paying attention, but it caused me to end up with a naked Darnold as my last pick.

A Puka or Kyren type pick doesn't come around often. That being said, you never know if one of these picks will be exactly what you needed to advance or win. They don't even need to necessarily score big they just need to score something. Your advance rate improves the more live players you have throughout the year. When bye weeks hit and injuries happen you don't want to be taking a zero. This is also the range you can add a third QB or TE if need be. Also, you can add to a secondary stack with a cheap rookie receiver or even a vet like Tyler Boyd.

I'd say at the time of the draft every pick matters. Most picks in this range will be duds. If one of these guy's hits your lineup during a week you have a lot of players on bye that is a huge win.
