I voted against. My dilemma is it's a friends league and as commissioner, I could veto it completely. But I'm also in a playoff spot where it has a major impact on me and I don't want to appear to be using my power to help myself.

The trades not even remotely close to reasonable. You can veto and not worry about it

I give: J. Jefferson
I get: Hurts + Lockett

Full PPR, All QB TDs = 6. Current QB is a Lawrence/Carr rotation.

Thoughts?

I am so ****ing tired of Gus Edwards scoring TDs instead of Lamar.

I'd want someone more consistent than Lockett, but I understand why you're considering it.

Both have great playoff schedules.
From weeks 15-17 with the Lawrence-Russell combo, I would ideally stream vs. NYG, @TB, @TB.

Currently in the playoffs in 5-way tie with 2nd-6th place, but lose the points tiebreaker to almost everyone with 4 weeks to go.

I'd be cool if Lamar just threw it in the flats to Gus for the TD.

Yahoo only requires 4 votes against and we already got that, so the trade was vetoed.

Burrow has had a lot of bad luck on the injury front this year. Altho it wasn't intentional, I'm glad I didn't draft him in most of my leagues.

I'd probably keep JJ and stream.

I hope Andrews's injury isn't serious, but it didn't seem good. Luckily I just picked up McBride in the one spot I have Andrews.

Coke, that is a ridiculous trade. I am not a fan of vetoing trades, but it is clear one team is not acting in the best interest of their team. If I was league manager I would veto the trade and contemplate polling the league if we should disallow those two teams from trading with each other the rest of the year and next year.

EDIT - just saw that you said it was a friends league. Depending on how serious the league is I would probably just text those 2 and remind them they have to act in the best interest of their own teams.

I could not imagine playing in a league where romantic relationships are involved.

Lol. Chase garbage time 2 yard TD sort of kind of saves his week.

I am in favor of allowing almost all trades, but this one would ruin a league and should be vetoed

Depends on the rest of your WR room...i'd likely be in favor of doing this if your goal is to try to win a championship...dobbs is solid, but i dont think JJ is a slam dunk with him and the rest of the weapons they have on offense (Hock specifically, but also dobbs legs)

Looking back at drafts is fun. From the 1 spot Jefferson, Andrews, Olave, Pierce, Mattison, Mike W, Javonte, Richardson, Watson, Bigsby, Achane, Thielen, Mooney, Jeff Wilson, Miller. Think at least half the players have been on IR at some point and the other half have universally underperformed apart from Thielen but still 5-5

Burrow out for the year with a sprained ligament in his wrist.

Nah - in a friend league where a BF and GF made this trade and one was already eliminated I would definitely allow this, in fact I would waive the waiting period and process immediately.

Then I would drop all 5 players to waivers

I'm in the market for a QB after Burrow went down. Who do we like for the rest of the season Goff or Kyler?

In a vacuum, I like Kyler slightly more and think he has more upside. But it’s close.

Also, Goff’s schedule is amazing. He only has one more outdoor game all year, @chi in week 14.

In the playoffs, Kyler gets SF at home, then has to go to chi and phi. Chi and phi pass defenses are bad, but Kyler could also struggle in the cold.

PFF says Kyler has the easiest QB SOS the rest of the way.

Yeah, this is kind of where I'm at. I'm already a lock for the playoffs and Kyler's playoff schedule scares me.

As far as cost what it's going to cost me who would you rather give up Thielen or D. Smith?

I prefer Goff to Kyler due to playoff schedule. You might want to consider Russell Wilson who also has a good playoff schedule and isn't far behind Goff in terms of points on season...

We are allowed to sell players for draft money next year max $50 of $200 from any team

Only untouchable
- Chase $35 keeper

Close to untouchable (can only keep 1 of below)
- Pollard $23
- Taylor $28

Rest of team that ppl may want
Lamar, CeeDee, Kupp, Adams, maybe QJ ($1 Keeper value) if he goes off with Palmer gone

Few questions,

1. am I being too dramatic and should I just hold out and hope my luck turns around

2. If I pursue this strategy, what are fair asks of the players I have from a future value perspective

As an initial ask I offered CeeDee for Nico + $40 or Aaron Jones + $25 is that too much or appropriate?
The trade we're discussing now is Amon Ra ($16 keeper value) + Kincaid + Ford + $25 Draft Dollars for CeeDee + JT
Alright I’ve fully completed the tank, nobody in my league has done this before so not 100% sure how to gauge my results. This is how I ended up, did I do good?

I’m 3-7 so basically dead for the playoffs. There is a last place punishment so I couldn’t fully gut the roster

Traded CD for Metcalf + $30
Traded Adams for Diontae + McBride + $20
Traded Kupp for Monty + Mclaurin + $25

So I ended up with $275 (out of $200) for next year + I have Taylor and Chase as keepers for $63 combined

So essentially I’ll start next year with Chase + Taylor + $212 draft dollars. 1 player has $150, 1 has $175, the remaining 7 players have $200

My roster right now is

Lamar
Taylor
Pollard
Chase
Mclaurin
McBride
Metcalf
Monty

Bench - Diontae, Rice, AJD, Dowdle, QJ, Eli Mitchell, Foreman
