So in that case, the true cost to villain will be what they pay you plus keeper price? I.e., if you sold CD for $20, then villain would essentially be paying $74 to keep him. But I guess they could also buy CD for $20 and then not keep him so then instead they would be at $180 minus their two keepers and CD goes back into the pool. Am I following that correctly?
That makes sense re-trade deadline (week 11)

Yeah exactly on how the costs would work. I’m assuming anyone buying CD is buying to win the title this year not to keep him

That sounds like a fun way to do a keeper league.

But yeah, I'd just see how the next two weeks go, and if you're still looking bad, sell at the end of week 11. The contenders should be even more defined by that point too.

I ended up moving forward with a trade, felt like it was too much value to give up and it could go away seeing as CD is performing at his absolute peak right now...

Traded CD for Metcalf + $30 Draft Dollars, so I'll start with $230 - Chase + JT (combined $63) and I feel like while DK has been trash this year, I can still compete with a roster of , but idk maybe I'm overvaluing the $30 or undervaluing CeeDee (Ceedee is my favorite NFL player, which was the part of the trade i hated the most. Have had him on my team for 3 years now)

Lamar
JT
Pollard
Chase
Kupp
Kmet (streaming until Waller's back)
Adams
Metcalf

1 small part of the trade I think adds some value. The 3rd best player in the league is who i traded with and he has no keeper values on his team (Ekeler priced out after this season) and is starting off $30 behind, but again I may be overvaluing that

We are allowed to sell players for draft money next year max $50 of $200 from any team

Only untouchable
- Chase $35 keeper

Close to untouchable (can only keep 1 of below)
- Pollard $23
- Taylor $28

Rest of team that ppl may want
Lamar, CeeDee, Kupp, Adams, maybe QJ ($1 Keeper value) if he goes off with Palmer gone

Few questions,

1. am I being too dramatic and should I just hold out and hope my luck turns around

2. If I pursue this strategy, what are fair asks of the players I have from a future value perspective

As an initial ask I offered CeeDee for Nico + $40 or Aaron Jones + $25 is that too much or appropriate?
The trade we're discussing now is Amon Ra ($16 keeper value) + Kincaid + Ford + $25 Draft Dollars for CeeDee + JT
Personally think being way too dramatic. Team has enough upside to win even though youve clearly been on wrong end of variance so far...if you blowing up, i keep taylor over pollard

Speaking of Kincaid, I have a dynasty team with Kelce, Kincaid, and Taysom. I have my 4.4 points from Kelce locked in with the other two on the bench. Gotta love fantasy. Thankfully my team still won.

I'm excited to see how the market works out the ADPs for some of these TEs next year. Kelce is likely going to go down. How high do Kincaid and LaPorta boost up? Where will Mayer go? What about guys like Pitts (**** you Arthur Smith), Hock, Goedert, etc.?

Brock Bowers is going to be very interesting too, especially with how well Kincaid and LaPorta are doing. The clues were there for Kincaid and LaPorta, but as rookie TEs, they didn't really get a boost up the draft board. If Bowers has the high draft capital we expect, especially to a pass catching needy team, I think his ADP will likely be the highest we've ever seen for a rookie TE. If I recall correctly, rookie Pitts was somewhere in rounds 6/7.
tight end went from being a wasteland to a spot where there are 10-12 legit tes right now. I have laporta and kincaid and cant find a team to trade with that needs a te badly enough. Agree watching the Bowers market will be fascinating

I think it’s fine in a vacuum, especially if you think you’re a dog to win the league. Not planning to keep CD + adding $30 of value seems like a nice return for next year. Next year’s rookie receiving class is also looking really strong.

Metcalf is meh but at least you got someone back who has realistic upside. That Seahawks offense has mostly be disappointing so far. Maybe they figure it out. Agree, you probably still have a chance with that roster and exchanging CD for Metcalf.

That's a pretty unique keeper setup. not sure I could offer much advice given the lack of experience. Definitely a team that looked great on paper.

I'm a flip from being 5-4 with a 12-man team nobody is going to want to face in the 3-6 matchup (pacing for 6th now). Weird year for sure this year with guys underperforming wildly. I have Kupp and Chase and I have no idea what just happened this week lol.

This has got to be one most pathetic losses of all time.

Up 4 with Hall, Wilson, and Herbert against Chargers D.

Lose by .7 because apparently running out of bounds for 0 yards untouched is a sack.

That is a very rough and unfortunate loss. My sympathies.

I pulled off the median win by 0.14 points on Ekeler’s TD with 3 minutes left. I had already given up when I checked the app! Getting that double win to improve to 10-8 with CMC on bye is big.

I was fortunate to get a nice and unexpected MNF miracle. I was down 16 pts with LAC DST vs NYJ DST. It was really nice to get a punt return TD and to also be facing Zach Wilson

It’s rolling waivers, so I’d also be burning the #1 claim, but it isn’t nearly as valuable in this format.

PPR start QB/2RB/3WR/TE/Flex

Lamar
Swift, Breece, Mostert, Hunt, Monty on IR
Reek, Amari, Garrett, Addison, Watson, Rice, Dotson
Andrews

Will have to find room for Monty next week too.

I guess Dotson? But kind of want to hold him with Curtis’s injury.

I’m tempted to drop Watson, but then he will start catching 50 yard TDs.

Mondre was also dropped but meh.
I'm just catching up ITT, but I see you decided to not put a waiver in for A Jones and I was a shocked. I respect your fantasy game a lot, but I can't understand why you wouldn't put in a waiver for him. I'm trying to picture a realistic scenario where someone else on waivers becomes more valuable and I can't think of one.

Yeah, I probably should have, but I ended up with Mondre instead anyways. I don’t see much difference between the two. Had Mondre not been available, I probably put in a claim on Jones. I also was a little greedy since I was still awake when waivers cleared and was going to grab Jones if no one else claimed him. Only one other guy in the league put in a claim.

It’s a soft 8 man league with small rosters where tons of guys with upside are still on the wire. Guys like Charb, Spears, Khalil, Warren, etc are all available.

I’m also lower on Jones than most. I faded him everywhere during draft season, because I didn’t believe in Jordan Love or that offense. Looking to mostly be correct so far.

Jones simply doesn’t have the same upside as he used to with Rodgers.

He had 24 touches on Sunday and still only scored 17.9 points. Without the short yardage TD, of which I don’t expect this GB offense to have many, it’s just an average outing.

Could be a flawed thought process.

First place dude offered me Pickens and Gibbs for Diggs, lol.

I countered with Diggs and Barkley for Ekeler and Keenan. Been one trade in 10 years in this league. I am 3-6.

Offered Stroud, Waddle, Dillon for Lamb/Pierce.

Current qb is mayfield. Have Pittman jr, Metcalf, Kamara, White.

Leaning toward accepting. Thoughts?

Worth noting the Lions and Dolphins have good DST schedules after week 10 and both are likely available currently

Seems like a fair deal but losing CD kind of sucks for you. Maybe have look around the league and see who has a back up QB on their roster and may need a WR/RB before accepting though or even just try negotiating something for Stroud on his own

half ppr. qb/2rb/2wr/te/flex

I have Purdy, Deshaun -- Evans, Kupp, Dell - Dell is likely flex (until Kyren is back)

Guy offered me Zay Flowers for Deshaun.

Zay would be good this week as an upgrade over Tyjae Spears at flex. I'm not sure when else he'd really play.

Deshaun has a nice schedule. I like the optionality between Purdy/Deshaun.

leaning no. thoughts?

My team sucks at 4-5 and outside playoffs looking in BUT this week I am playing a 6-3 team with the worst bye week issues I've ever seen. Hurts, AJB, Swift, Gainwell, Rice, Eagles kicker, and Waller on IR and we only have 6 man benches

Anywho I did my part by acq Russ & Dobbs to go with Goff & Murray so if villain doesnt make a QB move before Saturday for Pickett or Watson his options will be down to Zach Wilson, Aidan Oconnell or Tommy Devito. Tasty!
