Our finals is 1 seed vs 3 seed(me) - only because I was able to fade 15.5 from Herbert last night.

Todays Jeopardy question---:

Answer: Who are Mixon, Etienne, Adams, Hopkins, Wilson, and Kirk

Question: Name 6 skill position players on the same fantasy team that have not scored a touchdown in a month!~

Amazing making the finals when my entire team has all decided to lower their efforts for the playoffs

I didn't realize that Foles got negative pts yesterday! Imagine some of the beats out there from teams with Hurts/Lamar or snow game QBs who subbed in Foles. Yowza.

Who all is out there?
I think you’re right and Im going to try and roll with Teddy and hope opponent doesn’t block.

It’s 2QB, so very thin. Only other options are:
Foles
Wentz
McCoy/McSorley
Davis Mills
Malik Willis
Huntley

Other decisions:
Dallas D vs Tennese
Washington D vs Cleveland

Leaning Dallas- Titans might legit rest Henry at least 2nd half and do some experimenting cause it doesn’t matter whether they win?

Then my ongoing every week dilemma of two RBs out of:
Zeke
Walker
Robinson
Dobbins

Even throw Singletary in there, though I haven’t started him like ever.

Leaning Zeke and Walker. Dobbins is sick but isn’t getting the volume. Robinson does but that team feels like it’s cratering.

I’ve also heard them called knockdowns. 1st place vs 2nd, 3rd v 4th, 5th v 6th etc. The commish adjusts the schedule accordingly on Tuesday. The prize money is determined by the standings at the conclusion of next week. One of the leagues there are position weeks during weeks 15,16 and 17. The others it’s last 2 or last week only. Most of the leagues I’m in have been going for years and the guys would rather do it that way instead of playoffs so it is what it is.

Was put in a pretty strange and unique situation as a commissioner last night and interested to hear everyone’s thoughts. In one semifinal matchup, the teams tied even with decimal scoring and we use bench points as a tiebreaker. The other commissioner and my best friend had more bench points with Pittman left and his opponent had nobody left but wanted to make a trade to accumulate more bench points. Bc it’s a keeper leauge we don’t have a trade deadline. He had Jonathan Taylor on his bench and wanted to trade him to an eliminated team for eckler.

The eckler owner wanted more than just JT and the proposed deal they sent me was JT, pitts, abd a draft pick for eckler and Mike Boone (also on IR) and a pick. I told them I couldn’t process that trade this week bc pitts was locked on the roster since his team already played. The guy trying to trade for eckler then wanted me to process part of the trade this week (JT and a pick for eckler) and then process Mike Boone for pitts the following week. I told him that wasn’t within the rules and seemed completely shady. I basically told him he could still trade for eckler if it involved JT and draft picks but couldn’t include any players who already played that week. He threw a fit and accused me of ruling in favor of my friend and co-commish etc. I feel like I did the right thing but wanted to hear other opinions. They ended up not making a deal and he lost. Had he made the trade eckler would have given him 2 more bench points and the win.

On a separate note, I won the other semifinal by .3. I needed 21.1 points from Keenan Allen and got 21.4. What made it more incredible is after Saturday’s games my opponent had a 10 point lead, Godwin and broncos D. I won bc the broncos D scored negative points lol

I got 1/2 teams into finals. Second team missed the playoffs by a point, but had Hurts so I doubt it would have made much noise.

Couple interesting things coming up for the finals:

-Titans are going to sit some guys
-Tua is concussed and surely won't go
-Will Hurts return? (I hope not)
-Will Lamar return? (I hope so)
-Jefferson has to play in Lambeau but with the record so close I gotta think they force feed him a bit
-lots to discuss on D's for the final

Question, arent the titans still in the playoff hunt why would they rest any starters this week?

I started Foles over Deshaun. Seemed safer lol. Foles was god awful. Thankfully it didn’t matter.

Tough QB options. Probably ranking it

Teddy
Wentz
Mills
Huntley
Foles
McCoy/McSorely
Willis

Probably Dallas either way, but especially if Henry is out.

I’d rank those

Walker
Zeke
Singletary
Dobbins
BRob

But Zeke has a tough matchup. He’s also been a TD tear.

Yeah, as a commish, I’m not allowing string trades lol. That’s ridiculous. You made the right decision. Especially in this type of situation where it’s easy to angle.

The rules restrict players from being moved once their team has started a game that week. It’s pretty clear.

Agree - trade is all or nothing at the time it's finalized.

Seems a keeper league with no trade deadline means Taylor plus picks for Ekeler would be valid but you certainly can't add players that already played that week or future considerations.

Also - probably mentioned here before but anybody trading players then trying to do the exact same trade in reverse the following week should be kicked out of your league without warning. FF is supposed to be fun, not a bunch of ass-clowns trying to angleshoot their friends for $50

They are, but regardless of what happens this week, the winner of the Jags/Titans next week wins the division.

I think each team has a small path to the last wild card spot, but they’d need a lot to go their way.

Agree with all of this. Bnuts made the right call not doing the proposed trade that included a player that was locked.

Actually, my bad, there is no wild card path for the Titans due to scheduling.

Mia/NYJ/NE all hold tiebreakers. And Mia/NE play this week while Mia/NYJ play next week, so it’s impossible for those teams to lose the games Tenn needs for the final wild card spot.

Tenn should want Henry to be as healthy as possible for that Jags matchup. He’s their only hope of scoring enough on offense.

Yeah, this week is meaningless for Ten as indicated, although how much they spell Henry with Malik under centre and Hilliard on IR remains to be seen. Not sure who the next RB up even is

Hassan Haskins, and then Julius Chestnut behind him. Could be a good opportunity to see what they have in the rookies.

I'm dense, I don't get it but don't worry about it.

Anyone wanna take a crack at ranking these D's for the week:

Ravens vs Steelers
Chiefs @ Broncos
Giants vs lolFoles
Chargers vs LAR
Jags @HOU

I didn't realize the Jags D had been on such a tear. They all strike me as pretty close?

Curious on this list as well - I was outbid on Chiefs this week but currently own:

Jags @HOU
Giants vs lolFoles
Chargers vs LAR

I probably rank them this way - especially if Derwin James doesn't play as Mayfield is probably the closest to NFL caliber starting QB out of that group

Update: Opponent completely emptied bench (5 spots) and then bid on every QB out there except for Wentz and Huntley. No mercy lol. Known the guy since third grade too, smh.

He kinda ****ed up tho cause he wasn’t sure if Wentz was gonna start before deadline hit so he picked one of the other guys over him, but that just got announced right now. Would def rather have him over the rest anyways so not the worst result.

Wentz>>>>>>>nobody so not the worst result for you.

Within the rules roster churning like this is great - esp when its your friend.

My league went to roster position maximums a few years ago because guys (like me) would hoard running backs as their entire bench

I think should totally be within the rules. Just adds another element to spending faab wisely.

I think they all have the potential to get 5 or 15. Don't see a single one worth feeling amazing about. Might be a day of decision based on weather and injuries kind of thing.

Same here
I cant decide between Eagles>Chiefs>or Jags
feel like eagles should be default number 1 right
