Zeke's biggest strength is that he never misses games. Quite impressive for a RB. But he's a high floor/low ceiling RB now. And Pollard will continue to get work. I could see Zeke having a season like Gurley had in 2019 where he got by largely on about 15 TD (many of them due to massive goal line work). It'll be interesting to see if the market is pricing EZ correctly this year.

That’s a good comparison to Gurley’s 2019 season, although, I think Zeke’s body is in better shape than Gurley’s then. All reports are that Zeke is healthy. The problem is that comparing the beginning of the season for the last two years to the end, he finished injured/worn down.

Not missing games is a blessing and a curse. In the past, and probably even this year, he’s going to start in your lineup given the draft capital.

It results in a lot of average performances for your RB1 or 2 when he’s playing hurt.

Eyuck.

Got 11th out of 12 in one of my league's yearly draft spot rand.

Guess I need to do some mocks.

I feel equally yuck about randing 2nd

I'm 4/10, 6/8, and 6/12 in my 3 redraft leagues. I kind of like those spots, especially the 4th in my 10 man league. I get to smash 2 of the RBs we've been talking about in rounds 3 and 4. It'll be tough for me to take Kupp/JJ over Ekeler, if I get the choice, but I might have to do it since I can likely get two of Kamara, Barkley, Fournette, and Javonte at 2.07 and 3.04. And sometimes even Swift falls in my mocks. I'd take him there.

It's also the OG starting lineup. QB/2RB/2WR/TE/Flex/K/Def, so it makes me want to take either Kupp/JJ even more, due to the small starting lineup. Then I can hopefully smash Pittman as my WR2 in the fourth.

.5 ppr, 10 team, 2rb/2wr/2flex

You are keeping deebo & eteinne in the 8th & 10th round and for your 3rd and final keeper do you prefer:
1. Swift in the 2nd from the 7 hole where you would otherwise have your choice of Chubb/fournette and maybe saquon
Or 2. Lazard in the 16th round

In the first round you will like choose from kelce/Davante/swift/a jones

Doubt there is going to be anyone better than Swift at the 2.03 in a 3 keeper league so might as well keep him.

If you just look at who I’ll be drafting in the 2nd and 16th rounds my options are:

Swift + 16 rounder
Or
Chubb or fournette + Lazard

I’m just not sure which is better getting to draft a 10th rounder in Lazard in the last round or the difference between swift over a Chubb or fournette.

I’d rather have Fournette and Saquon, but not Chubb, over Swift. I also think Lazard sucks.

You could find someone in 16th who ends up with a better season than Lazard. But he does have the upside of being the WR1 for GB.

I probably just keep Lazard and hope he finds a path to WR3, maybe WR2, production.

Assuming Kamara gets no suspension, where would you rank him?

Seems like he probably is allowed to play all year, they need a ruling on that for the fantasy community

kinda lame that is gonna be a headache for drafts

What's the guy's team that has Lenny and not keeping him? Must be stacked
Swift and Lenny seem equal.

Probably RB6 or RB7, not sure if I’d put him ahead or behind Najee, and behind the top 3 WRs, maybe even Diggs.

But he’s borderline top 10 overall without a suspension.

Think Kamara's an early second assuming no suspension, which is what I'm expecting for the purposes of redraft. Can't justify bumping him above the likes of Najee, Cook, Mixon etc, and would easily go Diglett/Kelce above him as well, but he's clearly better than Jones/Lendog/Saquon or lower. Swift is a flip

No suspension I think I'm taking Kamara over Mixon.
He's got no real competition in the backfield so should catch plenty of passes.

That said, compared to last year the Saints now have two real WRs as opposed to zero

And we're not sure how the new coach is. Payton was pretty good a scheming Kamara. This guy could suck.

Kamara has finished top 10 in total points among RBs every season he’s been in the league. With 3/5 top 5 finishes. He’s only played a full season once, which was his rookie season.

But he’s generally played most games. 15, 14, 15, and then 13 last year.

Not having Peyton is a big wild card, but he’s still a borderline top 5 back, imo. Cook also has a new coaching staff.

He’s outscored Cook in 4/5 seasons. He’s outscored Mixon in 4/5 seasons.

Mixon and Najee both scored more total points last season, but Kamara averaged slightly more per game played.

Having two real WRs should help. He averaged 20 fantasy points per game in the 6 full games Jameis played.

I’m worried about Swift’s touch competition, as has the most receiving/touch competition he’s ever had, especially once Jamo hits the field. Chark, ARSB, Jamo, Hock, and then Williams taking snaps too, it’s tough to not see it eating into some of that volume.

After typing it out, I think I’d have Kamara RB6 behind CMC, JT, Ekeler, Henry and Cook and then 11th overall putting him behind the top 4 WRs. Still might put him over Cook, who has never played a full season. He’s always missed a minimum of 2 games.

I'm taking him over mixon/swift for sure.

They have the same OC as they have had for the last several years. Doubtful their offense changes that much. Bigger issue for Kamara is no Brees.

That's good to know.
QB-wise I'd be more concerned about every other Saints pass catcher.
Jameis doesn't strike me as some Uber athlete that is just going to bounce back from an ACL like nothing.

.5 ppr where you must keep exactly 11 for free for as long as you want.
Qb/2rb/3wr/te/2flex

Keep:
Hurts
Javonte, saquon, a jones
Aj brown, diontae, amari, Amon st brown, Hopkins, Gabriel Davis
Hockenson

Not keep:
Godgers, Rashaad penny, juju, will fuller & Corey Davis

Since I can only keep 11 is it crazy to offer Godgers, juju, Hopkins & penny for Higgins, deebo, cd lamb and kupp in 4 different 4 for 1 trades? All 4 trade targets are on different teams and have different needs but all 4 have maybe 5-7 guys you’d want on your dynasty roster.

We haven’t had our draft and I will likely end up with one top 5 rookie and a bunch of bums.

It cannot hurt to ask but I would expect to be told to **** off - maybe try a more reasonable 2 for 1 trade?

Yeah, try to cash in on some Gabriel Davis hype for an upgrade.

I’d probably try to cash in on Jones or Amari for a package upgrade if you can find people interested, especially Amari.

Also, I think I’d keep Juju over Nuk, even though I don’t like Juju.

But Juju actually has a path to increased value from here. Nuk could just be Julio jones by the end of the season.

Maybe I’m too far down on Nuk, but it’s tough to believe in his production after he already sucked last year and then got busted for PEDs.
