All bolded on my 12 man ppr dynasty going for the repeat this year. Your rankings please me.

Drafting for a win-now team is an interesting spot. I'm debating what to do with Javonte though. Curious if he makes the jump here.

How you guys ranking Cook, Spiller, White, Pierce at rookie RB in PPR? Feels like I want to draft one, and curious just how big the gap is from Zamir White.

Javonte gradually increased his snap % throughout the season. He had less than 50% 7 of the first 9 games. He had less than 50% only once in the final 8 games. Add in an insane QB upgrade, and the ceiling is sky high for him, imo.

If Iím right, I think he has league winning upside. If Iím wrong, well, I still think heís a solid high-end RB2 barring injury. So worst case, you draft him a round or two higher than his actual finish. I think heís going to be a beast. I donít even think Den really wanted to re-sign Melvin, but they realized it was the sensible thing to do for $2.5 mil. And itís not even like their RB depth chart is strong. Mike Boone is the third stringer lol.

Right now without camp reports, I think I have it Cook, Pierce, White, Spiller for the 22 season. But the variance is super strong with this group.

Donít think Zamir is worth anything in redraft. Heís a plodder so you pretty much need a Jacobs injury just for him to take over all the work on downs 1-2 and hope for goal line scores.

Zamir is someone I'd be pretty excited for in 2023 but not this year while Jacobs is still around

I like the idea of Pierce in redraft and best ball this year but not excited about him in dynasty.

He's been going in the 11th round most often and of all the rookie RB's (outside of Hall and Walker of course) I think he has the best chance of being RB1 on his team. Really think 1000 yards and 5 TDs is very plausible for him which would be amazing for an 11th round RB

Cook i'm just avoiding not for sensible reasons but I've been burned on Singletary and Moss past couple of years and I don't have a clue on what his usage will be.

I like the idea of White and Spiller in dynasty as potential break out candidates over the next couple of years but don't think I'll be taking them in redraft unless I have Jacobs or Ekler and I can get them late on as cover

What was the buy-in level?

I have a $250 auction league organized by my bookie that has a player that may be related to the guy in your league who thinks renfro is a first rounder. It is a league where we start 2 QB/2 RBs/2 WRs/ZERO TE/ 2 flex/ 1 DEF and he drafted 3 QB, 3 RBs, 6 WRs, 3 TEs, 3 Def. His 3 RBs were dalvin, chris carson & ty'son williams.

Feeling like a genius cause I've been taking Baker as my last pick in best balls as my back up QB

Find out I have him on a few teams with Rodgers as my QB1.

Both Packers and Panthers have a week 13 bye.

Not feeling quite as clever now.

That was my initial thought aswell as Stafford being too low but for 4pt passing TD I don't think he's incorrect

My Mahomes ranking certainly has more to do with his weapons than him. Kelce is obviously a mainstay, but going from Reek to MVS, JuJu and Skyy gives me some pause on Mahomes having top 3 potential this year.

Jalen scored 21.41 ppg last year and Mahomes scored 22.01. With Jalen picking up AJB and Mahomes losing Reek, I don't think it's out of the realm for Jalen to be a better option, maybe even by a couple of points per game, this upcoming season.

My Lance ranking is probably the hottest of takes, and while I have him at QB7, I know that I'm not going to have to pay that price. But my rankings heavily value the rushing QBs, and that Joey B is not. I'm honestly not sure what to think of Joe. I have Tee and Chase top 10, so theoretically, I should have Joe quite high. But he had plenty of dud weeks last season. Who knows if Lance will be a good real life QB? But I think he will definitely be a good fantasy QB with a weekly floor of 15 or so. He's going to average like 10-12 rushes a game.

For sure. Stafford is a solid option, but I think all of the guys I ranked ahead of him have more upside. It's tough to have him higher.

Rodgers below Carr is spicy IMO. I get the weapons thing & I know you can point to 2018/19 for lower TD totals for him, but I think he's such a strong bet for 4400 yards, 30-35 TDs, super low INTs, + another 2-3 rushing TDs.

Fun fact: Rodgers has as many rushing TDs in the last 2 years (6 in 32 starts) as Carr and Stafford have combined in the last 5 years (6 in 153 starts).

*Also big on Mahomes despite him losing Hill- have him #3 behind Josh/Kyler & I think his 380 rushing yards last year went a little under the radar.

I'll understand anyone who has Mahomes in their top 3, because I think it's reasonable. But Reek was/is kind of the perfect receiver for Mahomes. He is such an underrated route runner, at least with respect to his skillset paired to Mahomes. It may not work properly with someone like Tua, but that's a side note. Reek was able to run himself into the perfect spots for the bullet accuracy arm that Mahomes has. They had multiple years of experience with each other. Mahomes is amazing with his throws, but if the receivers aren't good enough to get there, they aren't good enough to get there. And even if they are, it may take some time to figure it out.

MVS is terrible at routes. He's speed, and that's it. He had minimal fantasy impact with Rodgers, so I don't really expect it to get better with Pat. JuJu is an awful route runner too. His metrics say he's pretty much never open. I'm still not sure how he lucked into his 2018 season, but I think AB had a lot to do with it. And while I think Skyy has a chance to be a solid NFL receiver, he'll just be a rookie this year.

Defenses are going to be able to play the receivers one on one which allows them to focus even more on Kelce, which I think also limits Pat's upside. After thinking about things more, I think I'll eventually drop both Kelce and Andrews in my rankings. Both have some things working against them this year.

I'm not touching Rodgers with a 10 foot pole at what I expect will be his ADP. I may have him too low, but even if I move him up, I still think my final ranking would ultimately be quite a bit below his ADP because of name factor. They replaced 40% of his fantasy production with Sammy Watkins, Christian Watson, and Romeo Doubs. Throw in Lazard/Cobb/Amari Rodgers and that WR group is pitiful. The TEs might even be worse with Tonyan and Deguara. After typing that out, maybe I'm too low on both Dillon and Jones, because what else do they have? Those two are easily their best skill players.

I'd bet the under on both 4,400 yards and 30 TDs for Rodgers. Ints will likely remain low because he doesn't make bad throws (although his receivers might hang him out to dry lol), but that doesn't really matter to me when I don't think yards and TDs have much of a ceiling. Fun stat about the rushing TDs, but that doesn't really move the needle for me haha. 3/season is simply 1 fantasy point/gm and may or may not have actually impacted a fantasy matchup.

I think you make a lot of good points, but I'm too biased when it comes to Rodgers because I feel like I've seen him produce too often without great weapons. In the 7 games Davante Adams has missed since 2019 Rodgers has thrown for 2,049 yards, 19 TDs, and 1 INT- which is a per 17 game pace of 4,976 yards, 46 TDs, 2.4 INTs, and a passer rating of roughly 1 million.

And from a fantasy standpoint, I think the offense being worse without Adams could help offset the loss of Adams a bit, if it results in higher passing volume than usual from Rodgers. But we'll see- impatiently waiting for the season to start!

Haha fair enough. Interesting numbers without Davante in those 7 games. I didn't realize that.

I'm still not sure what to make of the loss of Adams, but I do think Jones and Dillon will be the biggest benefactors. I'm just not sure how much of that will be in the air versus on the ground. GB was 18th in the league last year at 34.6 pass attempts/gm. They were also 18th in the league last year at 25.9 rushing attempts/gm. These totals also landed them at 18th in the league in total plays/gm. I think their plays/gm will remain roughly the same with rushing attempts converging more towards passing attempts in a 50/50 split and maybe even 55/45 in favor of rushing. I think they will play a slow, ball control style.

Using Fantasy Pros ADP data, Rodgers is currently QB12. After looking at my rankings again, I think I should move him ahead of Fields. That would put him as my QB15, so I don't think I'm too far off. The three QBs I have ahead that ADP does not are Lance, Carr, and Cousins. All of which have better weapons plus Lance's rushing upside.

Here is my qualm. Rodgers's receivers are Lazard WR50, Watson WR60 (although, rookies are almost always too low in redraft ADP data), WR89 Sammy, WR100 Amari, WR116 Cobb, and WR128 Doubs. Tonyan is TE17.

I just find it really hard to believe that Rodgers can be a QB1 when his best receiver is 50th in ADP data and his best TE is a mid-level TE2.

Even Jones is RB14 and Dillon is RB24. So not one of his weapons is projected as a '1' using ADP data.

Doubt Fournette can carve out a top 10 RB role if he stays at 260lbs.

Lmao that's 32lbs over last years playing weight - no wonder the Bucs coaching staff are 'unhappy' with him.
