With pollard out I need a flex replacement. Normally would plug in Christian Watson but he hasn’t practiced all week and plays at 4 on Sunday. If I don’t know his status by Sunday morning my only pivot would be James cook on Monday night. Otherwise I need one of these 3 if Watson is declared out. Ppr scoring

Jakobi Meyers vs dolphins
Brandon cooks vs jags
Rachad white vs panthers

Don’t really have much of a lean. Think they are all really close, really hoping Watson plays

PPR I’m rolling out Josh Allen, Ekeler, Fournette, Monty, Jeudy, Evans, KMet, Chargers D.

Then my options for last flex are Richie James, C Samuel, Dortch, Haskins and Davis.
Probably too cute. But who knows? I wouldn’t go Haskins either. Think I’d just pick one of the receivers.

I’d probably rank it

Cooks
White
Meyers

Yeah, I held back figuring one of the WRs would do better in PPR. Decent start in the final for me.

Slight favorite need to choose a rb2 and a flex

Pick 1 rb and 1 flex .5 ppr

Akers v LAC
Allgeier v ARI
Godwin v Car

Leaning Akers and Godwin, but some rankings I look at have Allgeier above both

Supposed to be a beautiful day in KC and usually when there is a coinflip QB decision I go with the guy playing at home. Not sure if that is applicable in this situation b/c Fields can still run for his life even if the receivers cant hear him

Pick 2 WR, 1ppr

Jahan Dotson vs CLE
Amari Cooper @ WAS
Diontae Johnson @ BAL

I'm projected dead-even w/ opponent, but feel like I need to go for ceiling in Dotson for one of these

Cooper I guess, but I hate all 3

So championship game(1QB, PPR, start 8) and i'm really unsure which 2 of these 3 to start

Meyers vs MIA
Chark vs CHI
Hollywood @ ATL

I had Meyers and Chark plugged in with the Cards QB situation but now Hopkins is ruled out it's hard to judge Hollywoods usage and he could see a lot of volume even with a bad QB

I could also choose to flex one of Jeff Wilson or Gus Edwards instead of one of the above but I have them a bit below the others

Ya I don't think you can do that. If we KNEW Jones was out, then it's spicier.

I was sitting Nuk with that QB if he was healthy. I dunno, seems like a scary start.

I can keep 1 player for next season in my high stakes league. It's a pure keeper, no need for any draft compensation/re-allocation. Best players are

S Barkley
Tyreek Hill
Davante Adams
Pat Mahomes

Guessing it's Barkley?

Assuming not superflex it's Barkley

Personally I'd be taking Hill or Adams (I prefer Hill) over Barkley. Mainly because the 23 rookie class looks stacked with RB talent so i'm expecting to find lots RB value in drafts next year.

Also I'd make the assumption JJ, Kupp, Diggs and possibly even Chase and Lamb are kept already really thinning out the elite WR options

Beyond Bijan and maybe Gibbs, is there really that much at the top end that's going to get themselves into the sort of workload that Barkley gets? Obviously a huge, huge amount is variable on landing spot (including Barkley with him being a free agent), and sure we could get someone from the second tier making a Pierce-like rise up the mock drafts if they do, but I'd probably still be taking Barkley. Depending on fw's spot they can probably grab Hill/Adams in the redraft anyway while Barkley would probably be very close to the #1 pick

I don't necessarily see Barkley being drafted before them next year in normal re-draft. They both out scored him this year and are pretty much guaranteed to be on the same offence with the same workloads next year

Hill > Barkley. Adams probably equal to Barkley. But if Adams ends up with a terrible QB, I might just fade and would prefer Barkley. All 3 will likely be first rounders.

As far as the rookie RBs, there are going to be a lot of day 2 guys that come on as the season goes on, imo.

Bijan will be a first rounder. Gibbs is projecting late first for now.

All of the day 2 guys this year, outside of TDP (lolSF), have made an impact at some point or another. Cook the weakest.

Javonte and Sermon (lolSF) were the only day 2 guys in 2021.

Swift, JT, Akers, Dobbins, Dillon and Gibson were notable day 2 guys in 2020.

I think we see 5-7 guys go day 2 this year. And given the continued direction of RBBC (plus normal injury variance), there is going to be value in their ADPs.

I don’t think this WR class is very strong. At least not from an elite standpoint, and it’s not very deep. I will probably be pounding WR + Kelce at the top of drafts.

This is my thinking. I usually go 3 RB and 1 WR in my first 4rds so good to guarantee a top 5 rb before the season begins

I reckon he gets franchised or goes back to Giants on a deal
