Here are some universal truths for your 2022 season:


1) You will never start DJ Moore the correct week

2) You will never start the right Cardinals receiver. The second you bench Kyler he'll score 40.

3) Kareem Hunt will always have a big game on your bench

4) The Thursday night curse will happen every time, until you bench a guy that drops 35 on a Thursday.

5) You will never start the correct Chiefs WR or RB

6) You definitely will never start the right Steelers WR, if such a thing exists

7) Melvin is coming for your Javonte TD's

8) You will definitely never start the right Jet, every, anywhere.

9) You will definitely overthink weather at least once

10) You will definitely underthink weather at least once

11) You will definitely fall for the decoy thing at least once

12) Lol the NFL injury designations, always and forever

13) Go with your guys in week 1 and don't overthink it. You drafted guys ahead of others for a reason. The NFL is so fluid and defenses and offenses have so much turnover. Try not to put too much stock into what happened last year.

Play your guys and start your adjustments in week 2. The only tinker I might do is a flex decision like if I drafted Breece in the 4/5 and Hollywood in the 6/7. I'd put Hollywood over him, but my week 1 motto is the less tinkering the better!

Leaning Watkins, but if Godwin ends up not playing, it's going to be tough to not want to play Julio.

Ya it's really a 2 man decision, you can remove Wan'Dale.

Godwin isn't going to go, and even if he does I'm sure he'll be on a count. Pretty equivalent spots. Cowboys game with a slightly bigger total in prime time probably where I go. I like Julio for a TD.

From what I'm reading, Kirk and Moore should get a lot of looks this weekend, and Houston is playing against a good run D, but it's hard to sit an RB1.

Leaning Cousins for the higher floor as Lance didn't do much to impress me during the preseason.

Cousins seems fine

If S. Sheperd or Toney is ruled out (probable to play as of this moment) or starts on a limited snap count, you might consider throwing Wan'Dale in there.

I'm benching Pierce. I belive Kirk is the safer floor and better ceiling till we see what Pierce is about

I'm going all in on Lance especially in 4pt TD (he could be terrible but still run enough to get score high) also they are playing the LOL Bears

Elijah Moore is an elite talent. He'll smash this year IMO. He did back of half of 2021 even with Flacco, Mike White, and Josh Johnson.

I don't like either this week, but I'd go with Lance. Green Bay's defense is among the very best. The under is getting hit hard by the smart $. Honestly, I'd pick up Goff for just this week and start him.

I'm not waiting a week to start Pierce (this referencing another post in here).

Most of my choices on yours ended up being game script based given how tight they were.

I would bench Pierce. Kirk has a very high ceiling against the commanders. We haven’t been able to rush the passer in a year+chase is still out, plus our secondary is a dumpster fire.

Who do you guys like better in 1PPR for this opening week, Pollard or Gainwell?

In PPR it's Pollard unless Sanders got shot this evening and I missed it

In non-PPR, I think you want to play guys who are most likely to score TDs. As the starting RB, Pierce is the highest on that list, imo. It's tough to bench either DJM or Kirk, but I think you have to. If it was PPR, Pierce would be the easy sit. My first post talked about playing the top guys you drafted, but I might bench DJM haha. I'm also very high on Kirk. Lolpreseason and sample size, but he had a 30% target share from Trevor in those games.

Those are some tough spots.

Oh that's good. I like Jeudy there. Any hawks terrifies me right now, and I don't know what to make of the Dolphins just yet. I have a decent idea what Jeudy will do there on the road.

So many unknowns with all 3. I’m sure I’ll be just as torn heading into Sunday.

I play Woods and Meyers mainly just cause I feel they are the safe options and should be the main targets for their QB's to start the season.

Dynasty Superflex PPR who do you start in the flex vs another strong contender?
