Fantasy baseball gets no love here but figured I could talk to myself for 6 months

Me: new to a 22 year H2H keeper league that still has 4 of the original 12 franchises
Me also: haven't followed baseball in probably 15 years or so
My keepers: Cole, Woodruff, Urias, S Marte, Bichette, Merrifield

Keepers that were kept last year cost ADP, keepers that were drafted last year cost that rounds pick (basically I lose picks 1-5 and 11th rounder for Urias)

Anywho - keepers were due 3/29

One of the original owners kept deGrom in lieu of his 1rst round pick and now post MRI wants to replace him and keep somebody else. Seems like a non-starter to me but another original owner suggested this is OK since we havent drafted yet.

Thoughts?
