Akers climbing.
01-18-2022 , 07:13 AM
Yeah, I'm a touch worried about my Hendo stock as a result of Akers not only being back incredibly quickly, but looking useful in the highlights I watched this morning. I guess the worst case is that I write off 2022 and he gets a better workload in 2023, unless any sort of Akers issue recurrence or a Michel injury happens?

I don't expect Michel to be back. He's played well enough to get some attention for other teams, and I doubt the Rams will want to pay the $3-$5 mil/yr Michel will want.

Hendo will likely be no more than a cuff to Akers with a split of something like 75/25 Akers/Hendo.

Yeah, it would be really surprising if they resigned Michel. Paying up for a 3rd RB seems bad and Rams already have a lot of big contracts and lack draft cap to fill spots cheaply. They will have more pressing needs to use that money on.

For some reason I thought Michel was signed through next season

Today I offered 1.11 and Gabe Davis to Allen owner for Etienne. He turned it down right before the game started.

A guy is looking to rebuild around the 23 draft. He just traded Barkley for a 23 1st of a likely non-playoff team today (plus two 2nds), but I have his 23 1st. So that’s good for me if he’s rebuilding, and he’ll also put a premium on getting his 1st back.

His players of value are Kupp and Deebo. What do you think about offering his 23 1st, my own 23 1st (which this year was 1.03, but I expect to make playoffs), Aiyuk, Claypool and Gabe Davis for Kupp and Deebo? It would be going against my rebuild, but I’ve got plenty of youth and am not patient.

My roster now:

QB: Lance, Fields/Dalton, Mac Jones, Mills, Minshew
RB: JaVonte, Singletary, Gainwell, Foreman, D'Ernest
WR: Chase, Waddle, Aiyuk, Mooney, Jeudy, Claypool, Toney, G. Davis, Campbell, Cephus, Smith-Marsette
TE: Muth, Irv Smith, Parham
Picks: 22 1.03, 1.06, 1.08, 1.11, 23 three 1sts
Yesterday , 06:27 AM
Guy with Murray, Kelce, Brady and AJones also just posted that he’s looking for 23 1sts.

If he is willing to do that you should definitely do it. None of the receivers you would be giving up are really guys that matter much and 2 1sts for Deebo and Kupp seems like a steal.

The only reason to be hesitant is that you are light at RB and 23 should be a strong RB class.

I wouldn’t target Brady or Jones, but if you can get Kelce and/or Murray at a reasonable cost, then pull the trigger.

I also agree with applesauce. I like getting Kupp and Debo for those assets in the deal posted above.
Yesterday , 06:02 PM
I made the offer for Kupp/Deebo. I could try Fields, Mooney, Muth and a projected late 23 1st for Murray and Kelce.
Yesterday , 06:25 PM
You could, but I’d say no.

Muth and the projected last 1st for Kelce is probably about right.

Mooney and Fields isn’t nearly enough for Kyler.
Today , 02:28 AM
Offer for Kupp and Deebo was laughed off. Offer for Kyler and Kelce was countered with him adding in Lockett for Claypool and 1.11.

So he wants Fields, Mooney, Claypool, Muth, 1.11 and 23 1st of defending champion for Kyler, Kelce and Lockett.
Today , 11:23 AM
I guess it depends on how you feel about the future of Fields. I’d take that though.

Kyler > Fields/1.11/23 1st.

Kelce/Lockett > Muth, Mooney and Claypool

But I’m also pretty down on Claypool and Fields.

I think Mooney is probably JAG. Not sure what will happen with Lockett, especially with Russ’s uncertainty, but Lockett has a pretty strong history of being a valuable asset.

Those firsts could be anything, but with one already set as late and the second being projected as late, you’ll likely not get anything close to Kyler’s level at those spots.

Plus, this is the type of win now trade you like to make haha. While also locking in Kyler’s future or having him as a top 5 asset to flip later.

Also, I believe I’m remembering correctly, but this is superflex right? All of my thoughts are based around that format.
