They'll probably want to try but I don't think there are enough talented offensive coordinators in the league that can pull it off to move the needle much. The likes of the Jason Garretts is the world are still being hired ffs.

Curtis Samuel will get that role as well when he is healthy. DJ Moore usually gets some each year.

Not sure if that role will grow for Braxton Berrios or if that was due to their depleted RB situation.

What has two thumbs and won that league despite/because of that trade?

Yeah, Chubb doesnít belong in the top 10, but I donít disagree with any of the others.

Receiver is sick at the top. Itíll be tempting to want Chase and JJ over Kupp, but I donít see how you can do it. Kupp scored less than 16.2 once this year. And that was still a double digit 11.4 game. If Rodgers and Davante are still together and people think Davante is 1 over Kupp, I wonít argue. But Kupp is at worst 2 for me.

My PPR top 25 way too early without rookies probably looks something like

JT
Henry
Najee
Kupp
Davante
CMC - Iím a sucker for pain and a biased Panthers fan.
Ekeler
Kamara
Cook
Mixon
Chase
JJ
Reek
Kelce
Fournette - assuming he stays in Tampa
Deebo - but Iím iffy
Waddle - if he gets Deshaun, watch out!
Diggs
AJB
Chubb
Swift - although, Iím probably going to start fading backs on bad teams who can get shut down at the end of the year with an injury. Which is also a knock on CMC.
Monty
Gibson
Jones
Zeke - I guess, but I donít like him here and will probably move him down further when I start evaluating in the summer.

Pretty good list, I like it. I think Chubb represents pretty great value if he's late 2nd though. Third highest yardage this year (would be behind Henry if he was healthy) at 6 ypc. Browns line still good.

Lots of backs in the 3rd/4th round range that will be popular. Akers/Henderson, JRob if he's back in time, Mitchell, Harris, Jacobs, Sanders (never again), Saquon, the Baltimore backs.

I could be swayed to move him ahead of the 4 receivers in front of him, but I don’t think I can go any higher. I just hate his lack of pass catching and low floor in PPR. He has a nice ceiling, but really tough for him to ever clear 30, especially with Hunt in the mix.

He had as many single digit games as over 20 games.

Even if JRob somehow returns in time, he will be a fade for me. Etienne returning, new coaching staff, struggling second year QB, etc. Too many variables.

I bet Akers’s value continues to creep up, especially if he shows something before this year is over. He might be able to crack the top 25.

Mitchell could be fun, but damn did he have a lot of injury issues.

Fade Sanders like your life depends on it.

I’ll probably take Barkley 4th and later, but I doubt he makes it. Next year is make or break for him. If they get Russ, I could be more swayed.

Jacobs is interesting too. If his adp is right, I might grab him.

I’m really excited about JK’s return, although he will likely have a similar problem to Chubb. He will have some big games with a low floor. But I know Balt wants to get back to their running style.

Forgot about Etienne.

Agree completely on Akers, nothing better for next years draft stock than a show-out in the playoffs.

Agree on the rest.

Any playoff rankings available anywhere? I've watched like 2 quarters of football all year and lost interest in fantasy when Calvin Ridley didn't feel like playing football anymore but got suckered into a playoff league

Fantasypros has them.

So far through 3 rounds I have Brady, Gronk and Zeke. Seems decent. How early do I target defense in something like this? I think Bucs D is head and shoulders above the rest plus the highest upside of getting 4 games. And for me it fits my stack which seems extra essential in the playoffs. 10-team league 1/1 QB, 2/4 RB, 2/4 WR, 1/2 TE, 1/1 K, 1/1 D/ST (start/maximum you can carry)

It seems crazy to not be able to carry 2 QBs. I assume that means Godgers value takes a hit since you guarantee a 0 week one.

There's only 14 available, some of which seem completely useless from a fantasy (and arguably irl) standpoint, this seems entirely reasonable. Unless you want people to be forced to take Mariota or Minshew as a backup

With 10 teams I guess the reasoning is it's impossible for everyone to have 2 so no one gets 2? You do get the backup if the starter gets hurt though. But yea thats why I went Brady with my first pick (5th overall) bc hopefully he'll be playing 3+ games and the reason I'm trying to now work a Bucs stack. I just have no clue when to take a defense

Godgers was still the first overall pick so idk

Am I correct in assuming this is bestball and it is most points scored over the entire playoffs and not matchup based?

Good point 64. I was just thinking after the first week we are left with 8 QBs for 10 teams. If we are allowed to pick players up I bet a QB who wasn't drafted is insanely valuable during waivers.

Correct best ball

So I'm torn if this makes it beneficial to take guys outside of your stack who play on opposing teams.

Like I have a bucs stack with Brady gronk and also have Zeke. So do I take someone like Elijah Mitchell now who is best player available imo guaranteeing 2 games from him or Zeke but also guaranteeing only 1 from 1 of them also. Or else I thinking someone like Tee Higgins
01-12-2022 , 01:06 PM
Went with Mitchell. Seems bad
01-12-2022 , 01:42 PM
If it is 10 team and winner take all (or even a top heavy payout) I would think you should downgrade players that are playing against each other round 1.

I don't hate that strategy. I took Mitchell as well but by pick 35 there are not any realistic options that have a clear path to 2 games

Who's the 2nd Tampa Bay RB and WR to get with a TB stack? Vaughn, Jones or LevBell? Perriman, Johnson or Miller?

So far team is
QB - Brady
RB - Zeke, Mitchell
WR - Higgins, MVS
TE - Gronk
DST -
K -

2 more RB and WR to fill. Figure get 1 Buc in each of those spots as it's slim pickings right now and the only decent players are on the likely one and done teams
01-12-2022 , 09:26 PM
Probably not Jones, since he’s already doubtful. Seems like he might be weeks away.

Probably taking Vaughn over Bell but meh. Aren’t Fournette and potentially Gio returning? Vaughn got more touches last week and played 45% vs 38%. Bell did get that receiving TD.

Johnson > Perriman > Miller.

But keep in mind, I haven’t paid much attention to fantasy since the season ended, just itching to get back into it so figured I’d throw out my thoughts haha.

I think once you commit to the TB stack you are better off with their Defense and Kicker than a potential RB3 or dart throw at WR4. Players like MVS arent gonna help you even a little if you are wrong on your Brady/Gronk picks
01-12-2022 , 10:20 PM
I see Bucs have been going as like 5th 6th defense off the board. Probably going to just take them next round anyway though unless I want the RB flyer as I'm definitely having 1 RB eliminated after week 1

If I'm wrong on Brady/Gronk I'm pretty much drawing dead anyway I think
01-13-2022 , 04:59 PM
Ended up able to get Brady, Gronk, Perriman and Bucs D/ST

Do I go Bucs kicker also or is he kind of handicapped if Bucs are scoring TDs like I need them to? I know you're pot comitted with them going far but would I be better off going like Bills kicker for upside variance on the AFC side? Or just yolo the Bucs and if they win the Super Bowl I'm probably winning ?

Man, this trade, the 3-6 team ends up making the playoffs and finishing 2nd, so turns out I get pick 1.11 for Goedert in 1.5 PPR TE premium. If I hadn't beat the then-sixth seed in W13, this guy would have missed the playoffs and instead of going to the title game, gone to the consolation bracket final and lost to me. So the pick went from 1.04 to 1.11. And now I have picks 1.03, 1.06, 1.08, 1.11. I would have had picks 1.03, 1.04, 1.07, 1.08. Before that game in W13, I was trying to make trades with that guy to help him beat me too! Though I beat him by 52 so none of them would have helped.
