Dynasty trade complete: CPat, Boyd and J Cook for Henry.

Seems pretty good to me. I think Henry will come back fine from this, regardless of the extra mileage he already has. He should be good for a few more years of dynasty.

Was down about 20 in 0.5 ppr with McNichols, AJB, Khalil and LAR Defence in a must-win week.

If I don't somehow get there, I will be sad.

It's awesome how the defense gets penalized for Stafford. Glad I don't have any team defense leagues this year.

Scraped together 16.7 tonight, I need >7.7 tomorrow night. That was painful watching McNichols coming up short on the last drive.

Seems like a lot for Hunter or not a lot for Derrick

2-2 this week. Only the one game was close, could have scraped it by benching Toney for ADP or Dillon but couldn't resist against our pass defence

3-1 this week.

Have no sweats at all for MNF. Might not even turn the game on.

most likely 1-4 this week but I did win in the one league where I was 1-7 so thats nice

Would need Najee to put up less than 8 points tonight so I guess theres a chance for 2-3

Yeah, I’m up 1.4 in one league going against Claypool. Maybe he will tweak something in warmups lol.

Other than that, no sweats. Most of my matchups had pretty big spreads.

Pretty sure he meant Derrick, and yup that’s a steal

Kinda not surprised he was able to take a bad orphan team to contender in 1 year, if these are representative of the other managers in that league <shrug>

I'm new to fantasy, my team was decimated by injuries so im trying to trade off my remaining stars for draft picks next year. What would be fair value for Cook to a team that needs an RB and is def in running for championship.

We allso run IDP and i was thinking of tossing in my d. perryman for his d. leonard (would be a slight improvement for him)

This chart from FanatsyPros suggests that two top-6 firsts is fair for Dalvin.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.fan...21-update/amp/

But for injury prone RBs, it really depends on the risk aversion of each of the trade participants. Actual trades involving Cook could vary wildly from league to league.

Generally when using such trade charts, consider if they’re representative of your league (e.g. my longest running home league vastly overrates RBs relative to most publicly available charts) and adjust accordingly.

I would have guessed way less assuming this is a one year lease of con.

Is this a dynasty or keeper league (if it is keeper then what are the rules of keeping players)?

Players like Cook are tough to value. The owner is generally going to always value him more than a random villain. Because even if you send him to the guy in the running for the championship, with the variance nature of fantasy, there is no guarantee he wins the ship even by adding Cook. I'd take two firsts for him if I wasn't in the running. But maybe you can turn it into young assets that are a little more guaranteed than two random firsts. What does villain's roster look like?

A few weeks ago, I traded Cook away on a team that was borderline playoff and would have needed some run good to ship. It's a 12 team superflex league.

I sent Cook/Mattison/A. Jones/Tua/Brissett/3rd for Mahomes/Etienne/Edmonds/2nd. My side might have been a little heavy, but I was happy to lock up Mahomes for what I expect to be the next 10+ years. I also don't have much faith on Tua's long-term future in the NFL. My other two QBs are Danny Dimes and Darnold, so I was really hurting at QB. I took Mahomes to kind of start it over.

My reward? 3 of Mahomes's worst starts in his career lol.

Funny thing is that’s my 15th trade since the day the season started but the first one this guy made with me, and he had told me to stop making him offers since I had been doing so on a weekly basis to get one of the five starting QBs he was hogging. I made him a joke offer of CPat for Henry over Sleeper with a smiley face. But I could tell from his counter, or him even making a counter, that he was desperate and looking to deal.

Looks like I’m going to barely pull through this week without CPat. Just need 5.2 from Najee.

lol - imagine trying to learn fantasy football when your first league is dynasty with IDP

Ivanka, I think bosco is right about jumping straight into a dynasty + IDP league (if that is in fact what you are talking about and not a keeper league where you can trade picks) being a big leap. If you don't realize how big of a jump it is to have your first fantasy league be a dynasty + IDP league you essentially are a high school kid experimenting with cocaine before you even smoked your first cigarette.

I didn't realize i implied it was a dynasty league somewhere my b, we do have keepers tho although cook ofc wouldnt be eligible.

His team is

Mahomes/Hurts

Pollard/edmonds/gibson/sony michel/ k. hunt

then some reasonable receivers and m. andrews

playing 2 qb 2 flex

It's just a friendly league i dont mind being a fish tbh

I think he's going to end up trying to pick up dalvin and a top 3 receiver from another 2-7 team for draft picks.

Ivanka it is difficult to tell you the value of Cook or any other player in relation to draft picks without know your keeper rules. How many can you keep and how is it determined what round they can be kept?

Just traded trevor lawrence for juju in a league where we have to keep exactly 11 players each year and you keep for as long as you want. I also have Godgers and hurts and my roster is good enough where I can't keep 3 QBs. He's an unrestricted FA after this year and we don't have to set our keepers until right before the seasons starts so he seems like a decent lottery ticket.

Well if it doesn't work out, you can drop Juju at cut down and then draft him in the 12th Rd next year if you still want him. And no, I'm not forgetting it's a keep 11 league.
(Can tell I love Juju)
