Of course, the correct play was to guess Waller would be out, go back in time and not cut Uzomah for Jared Cook, but I don't have a Delorean

Re: 2021 Fantasy Football Thread

Meanwhile in MNF sweats, I'm leading by 38 in full PPR and trailing by 41 in half PPR with only their and my DK left respectively, so likely 1-1 unless he hits some weird Chase-like statline that hits a middle.

Need 29 with Kamara and Lockett to go in full PPR in third league so barring injury feeling good about that one, already won in fourth league.

Re: 2021 Fantasy Football Thread

In redraft PPR with a bench that could win the title on its own, I’m still up by 1.5 with Penny vs his DJ Dallas. I checked if there are any options to flex other than Penny. There is Kenny Stills. I’d have to drop Penny to pick him up. Any thoughts on Penny or Stills tonight?

I would be inclined to keep Penny, with Carson injury still up in the air and Collins being 'just a guy' he has the better chance of surprise value.

Stills is what he is

Yeah, Penny is an unknown for tonight. But he certainly has more upside than Stills ROS. I lean toward keeping for the upside given that it’s hard to predict who will do better tonight. But wanted to see if anyone would try to make a convincing argument for Stills being the better play tonight.

But it could turn bad if Henry and the QBs aren't still playing when I next have a 1st or 2nd round draft pick in 2025.
Well, my grand plan went badly. I got the guy to offer Fournette for Carr and a 2023 2nd to set up our deal where I get Henry and Carr (or ARod) for TLaw and a 2nd. But that just got the trade conversation going between them and led to the guy ridiculously trading him Henry for Hurts, Gallup and a 2024 1st, then following it up with Fournette for just his 2023 2nd.

Whelp - since I was dead wrong on this snafu lets give the credit to sixfour

Gordon blows, Hilton was OUT, Sanders on bye so back to free agency to grab the player you said to get in the first place. Fortunately Jefferson did an admirable job as 1 week fill in with 4-43-1

Re: 2021 Fantasy Football Thread

hmm, it's easy to say in retrospect, but when we have:

a) someone who's injury history is that detailed that it's easier to list where he hasn't been hurt
b) someone who will likely score more points in a points per weed conviction league
c) someone already producing in a high octane offense who's a woods/kupp injury from being an every week starter

it shouldn't be that hard to say where we should put our chips

Anyone still a believer in Shenault? Thinking of offering Kittle for Henry, Shenault and KHerbert to pair him with my TLaw. It’s 1.25 TE premium, but I’m tiring of Kittle.

Re: 2021 Fantasy Football Thread

ello,

I'm asking this question for a friend, not my team.

League rules have pass TDs as 6 points. Friend picked up Russel Wilson off of the waivers and is stashing him and is streaming QBs in the meantime (Carr and Cousins). He'll drop Carr this week for Cousins or some other QB.

Moving forward, should he stick with stashing Wilson? Does it make any sense to stash Watson at all and hope that it turns out to be a lottery ticket?

- Carr
- CMC, Chubba, Mixon, Drake, Hunt-- 1 ir spot for CMC, stashing hunt for now... is he droppable?
- K. Allen, Chase, Godwin, Waddle
- Hocenson
- Kicker: Prater, DST: Buff

Re: 2021 Fantasy Football Thread

Does anyone put any effort into trading your bye-week replacement in a 1 QB league, or just drop them?

I have Josh Allen and picked up Tua who obviously had a good game. Should I put in the effort to find a team or two that could use him and try to pick up their 2nd worst player or something, or not even bother?

Same thing with Ertz. I picked up Ertz as a desperation flex play two weeks ago and kept him as the waiver wire is dry. Will play him with Andrews on a bye this week, then should I shop him or just drop him?

Re: 2021 Fantasy Football Thread

Sure, it makes sense to stash Wilson and Watson, but it depends on roster sizes and bye week needs. Would drop Drake before Hunt.

Pope, I don’t think anyone is going to be interested in Tua. He’s had a couple good games but doesn’t have a strong reputation and people are thinking he could soon be replaced by Watson. Ertz has some hype now being with Ariz and Murray, and having a good first game. I’d think could definitely trade. Wouldn’t put him back on the wire.

Just offered Tua for Jeudy on a QB needy team. Unfortunately he is 6-0 so I doubt he does it.

Week 10 seems to be an issue having Chase/Mixon on bye. Otherwise the bye weeks seem to be spread out. Buddy also has Chase Edmonds and SF DST that was streamed.

Dropping Carr for QB, SF DST frees up one more spot. Rn Wilson is being stashed. I have not played FF in a while, just wondering in a 6p per pass TD format if stashing both Watson/Wilson makes sense (until Nov 2nd deadline) and hope for some run good.

Well, I could also pick up Tre’Quan to play for Penny. Perhaps has similar upside to Penny. I’ve never trusted Tre’Quan, but he reportedly had good chemistry with Winston.

I mean regardless of who you go with, you’re just throwing darts with those guys.

It’s tough for anyone to have a read on those 3 situations.

Guess I’ll stick with Penny for upside. I just need him to outscore DJ Dallas. And if I lose, I’m still 5-2.

Lol. Why would the Jets even bother? Shouldn’t they want to lose? I mean, they’ll still lose with Flacco, but just roll your shitty backup instead.

Re: 2021 Fantasy Football Thread

The guy I offered Tua for Jeudy responded with "If you want Jeudy please make a real offer"

I apologized and said it was just to start a convo.
