I'd go Knox or Schltz

I know most rankings will have Knox a good bit ahead but I think Scultz has been underrated so far and if I didn't draft at least a Hock,Kittle or Waller in all my leagues i'd be pretty happy starting him in most games and especially vs the Giants

What do you guys think of this weeks waiver candidates? I will likely target D Williams as he's likely to have that role for a few weeks. Trey Lance looks interesting, but I generally drafted strong QBs in my leagues.

Monty is apparently out for 4-5 weeks so Damien Williams will for sure be the best target out there this week. For any leagues or Mixon owners that are not paying attention, Perine is probably a nice cheaper add this week.

That's about it IMO.

Hey guys, just curious about the fantasy football resources you guys rely on as you play week to week. I'm just curious as to whether people out there are generally getting their information from the same place or if people use different content. Also curious whether people rely on paid information and if it is any better than free content. I'm open to sharing what I use.

For daily injury news I use NBCSportsEdge.com (formerly Rotoworld). I also check FantasyPros for rankings.

For Youtube/Podcast content throughout the week I use:
-Fantasy Footballers
-NFL Fantasy Live
-Fantasy Football Today

In the past I use to listen to and watch other content, but it all becomes so much so I've cut back. But some past content I use to take in was:
-Pat Mayo YouTube stuff
-ESPN show with Matthew Berry
-Fantasy BFFs with Gregg and Frank. Probably the show I enjoyed the most for entertainiment
-Big Dog's Gotta Eat. Nick himself seems like a cool and smart guy but his buddies who he tries to bring in seem like immature punk kids.

I usually don't look at rankings. Base my start/sit off of my perception of players, recent performance and snap count, and the site's projection. If I am still unsure, I might look at some weekly rankings.

Follow about a 10-20 people on Twitter which is a good resource. That is my main source for injury news. Use the Schefter Sat night drop to mold my lineup avoiding the questionable players. I've found myself getting more and more risk adverse when it comes to injuries and playing them in my lineup and haven't really been bitten by it.

Podcasts are:
-Fantasy Football Today (second one I'll skip if out of time)
-Christopher Harris
-ESPN Fantasy (first one I'll skip if out of time)
-Stealing Bananas

I use Rotoworld or NBC Sports Edge, whatever it is called now. Yahoo got a pretty good bump when they started using all their Player Notes imported from that site.

Other than that I just use Twitter.

I think try to put the same modest bid on Knox and Schultz, maybe 11%, and hope to get one. Would put Knox first.

I've paid for Footballguys for a few years now. Definitely think it's worth the $2/week or whatever it works out at, but there's an awful lot of good stuff that's for free on there

Been paying for footballguys for a long time. They have everything you need and it’s $35-40 for the year. There is a lot of good free content on Twitter. Things I’ve been looking at more this year are snap counts, routes run, target %, etc. especially how it’s split among rbs as more teams move to split backfields

Seeing alot of people on Twitter saying to sell high on cpatt. What he’s doing obv isn’t sustainable but I do think he’s a solid starter ROS. I am currently starting him at wr but he’s eligible at rb too on cbs. Another team has Aaron Jones and nobody else at rb (they are starting mark Ingram lol). They are interested in cpatt and I was thinking of packaging cpatt and swift or the bears rbs for Aaron Jones. (This is non ppr btw) relevant guys below:

Rb: Chubb, Montgomery/Damien Williams, swift, Jamal Williams, cpatt, pollard
Wr: mclaurin, cpatt, Higgins, OBJ

So I would upgrade from swift to Aaron Jones and sub higgins into my wr2 spot for cpatt. Thoughts?

Edit: start 2rb, 2wr, flex non ppr

Lol of course. Only decision is which one you want. I like Zeke a little better after seeing his usage the last two games

Yeah, I'd snap sell my Sanders + change for either of those

Right that's the dilemma fan duel got eliiot at 8k this week and gibson only at 6.8k

Does that mean we auto take elliott?

plus elliot knee hurting how serious do we know?

Fbguys ROS rankings have Zeke higher in ppr and non ppr. Wasn’t aware of a Zeke injury. Gibson is the one missing practice with a shin injury. Take Zeke

Yeah, Zeke is quite a bit ahead of Gibson. But if someone is willing to give you either for Sanders + Moss, then push the trade through as quickly as possible.

Guy said he likes it. I give swift/Patterson for Aaron Jones in non ppr. Pull the trigger?

I think that’s too much if you’re trying to sell high on Patterson, even in standard.

I think someone like Sanders, Jacobs, Edmonds, Moss, etc. is the right range. Swift is too valuable for that package, imo.

You have a really nice RB group, and given CP’s eligibility at WR with the rest of your group, I don’t see why you want to ship him.

Yea I’m kinda torn. I like that I can start Patterson at wr but think his value may be at its peak. I would replace Patterson with Higgins. I don’t think there’s a big gap between those two, maybe a point a game. I do think there is a significant gap between Jones and swift, which is why I was leaning towards going through with it. Swift is not nearly as valuable in non ppr

I do think it improves my starting lineup bc I think Jones/Higgins would outscore swift/Patterson on the year, it would hurt my depth tho

Put it in Fbguys trade analyzer and it said what I think you’re saying. It would improve my starting lineup a little but hurts the overall value of my team. I think it’s a better trade to make late and the season. Gonna hold off for now and keep my depth with some guys banged up and byes coming up. Thanks for the input

Picked up Alex Collins for free in all my leagues. Doesn’t look like Carson is playing tonight and has a chronic neck issue which sounds like it could be a problem all year

Definitely. Especially with Higgins already banged up. One wrong hit to that shoulder, and he could be out for an extended period again. I don't trust OBJ. So if you send CP, you could be stuck with Terry as your only viable receiver option if you lose Higgins.

But yeah, if CP is still doing this later on and you're trying to consolidate into the strongest starting lineup possible for the playoffs with a 2 for 1 trade, I can get on board.

Yup, as soon as I saw the word chronic, I jumped on him where I could. I dropped Mike Davis for him in my 10 man league where I also have Cordarelle.

I think Gallman will start taking work away from Davis, and he really has just been average so far, anyways. Kind of what we expected.
