With the trade deadline this week, I was offered Aaron Jones and a late 2nd for JaVonte and Parham. I’m thinking no. Anyone disagree?

FML lost by 1.30 lol.

Season has largely been a disaster and that was the final nail in the coffin for one of my teams. Losing Henry sucked.

He declined. Funny thing is Aiyuk and Mooney led my tanking 3-7 team to a win over his 9-1 top seed this week, knocking him to third place and out of a bye for now. I don't mind the win since draft slots 3-6 are decided by consolation bracket. I like my youngins showing some potential by knocking off a top team.

i really don't know what to make of them tbh. it's real hard to know what piece of the SF offence you really want outside of deebo. mooney sure seemed to get a hell of a lot of targets this week, but they need to turn into completions and if he does become the defacto wr1, how does he handle better coverage?

I agree that the jury is still out on Aiyuk and Mooney. They’ve both shown potential but also some red flags, and they have QBs with potential. Mooney doesn’t have good draft capital. Given their flashes, I wouldn’t take less than a 1st for either. But, given it’s SF and I have a lot of young WRs, I would still do the two 1sts plus a bit more. Though I don’t see that happening because he hates me now. Haha

Also, he claims to be in 129 leagues. Uh ...

If a huge percentage is best ball/guillotine where you have no or next to no weekly maintenance then that's not unreasonable. It's still a lot but I could believe it, I know of people who will do LOTS of best ball drafts just to practice drafting in general

I hope so, but I doubt it. I was planning to drop Foreman in my 10 man league, but I guess I’ll hold for another week to see. Unfortunately, it’ll probably just be a 3 man committee between Foreman, McNichols and Hilliard, with whoever is playing the best ending up with the most touches.

That’s probably fair, and I know you’re a win now kind of guy, so Jones and Monty should give you more this year. But I’d rather hold Javonte hoping Melvin leaves and he becomes the feature back next year, possibly with a new QB. I think Javonte has the most potential long term upside of the 3, and will likely be the highest pick of the 3 in startups next season.

No telling what Jones’s role looks like when he returns with Dillon playing well. Dillon is a much better receiver than I thought. Monty should continue to command his bellcow role, but that offense is putrid. So I’m not sure how much weekly upside you can hope for.

It would leave me with no backup QB behind Mahomes and Burrow. And with a big hole at RB with only Najee, Henry/Foreman, Moss/Singletary. I could try to move Henry or the 2023 1st before the deadline, but the trade deadline is end of last game of week.

It wouldn’t help the QB situation, but would help my efforts to win this year if I include Henry for his Mixon and keep Gordon. So TLaw, JaVonte, Henry, Wentz for Mahomes, Mixon, 23 1st.

I just think Mahomes is the #1 SF asset, and anytime you have a chance to get him, you take it unless it’s just a massive overpay.
