Should I change my team name to The Two Chases?

I got involved in two different trade scenarios today. Just for reference, I play in 10-team 1/2 point PPR leagues.

Scenario A:
A trade I pulled off was sending CeeDee Lamb and Darrel Williams away for Cooper Kupp. I think its a good trade if Dallas continues a trend of playing good defense, getting ahead and running the ball alot. CeeDee is talented, but it seems like Dallas is not throwing as much as previous year. I really like the volume and targets that Kupp has. If CeeDee breaks out like he was expected to pre-season, I could get burned here. Darrel Williams would be good for a few weeks, but I have D Henry and D Swift at RB, with Javonte and Z Moss as backups.

Scenario B:
I picked up Damien Williams last week. I made a trade offer to the David Montgomery owner of sending D Williams and Keenan Allen for J Jefferson. He then counter offers J Jefferson and S Perine (I have Mixon) for DJ Moore and D Williams.

I'm considering and it's close. I could take it or leave it. Perine is on the Covid list now, so that brings his value down a bit. D Williams would be servicable the next few weeks.

As far as Jefferson and Moore, I've seen rankings where they are close. FantasyPros has Jefferson #5 WR ROS and Moore #7. Then I go to ESPN, JJ is WR5 and Moore WR16. Target wise JJ is 9 per game, Moore is 10. It's close and it's something to contemplate.

The first trade is probably close in .5 PPR, but I agree on your sentiment with Dallas. The defense has improved a lot and they have turned more run heavy than last year. If you said Lamb or Kupp ROS, I’d take Kupp, and Darrel is only a few week rental that will probably give us 50-75% of what CEH has. So pretty meh.

The second trade is easily the JJ side. I’d put him WR3 ROS behind only Adams and Reek. DJM is probably closer to 10 than 16 or 7, but last week showed you what a floor can look like. I don’t think he’s an every week guy like JJ. Damien and Perine are pretty irrelevant if you’re making a trade to upgrade WR for long run, so add them if it gets the deal done.

I got offered najee for my zeke in a non PPR. I’m leaning towards rejecting it. Thoughts?

I think Kupp>CD and JJ>DJM ROS. So unless you really need the other guys, that’s pretty simple.

I think it’s an easy decline of Najee for Zeke in non-PPR. In PPR, you could think about it.

In redraft PPR, what do you think of Najee, Pittman, Schultz, Hilton for CMC/Hubbard, Monty, J Cook? I’m 4-1 and also have Waller and Knox at TE. He’s 1-4 so needs a win this week.

Obv a great trade for you. Upgrade from Najee to cmc/Hubbard, Montgomery might be worth as much or more than Pittman to you. Losing Schulz is fine since you have waller. Hilton is worthless.

I definitely wouldn't do it with Chase. I'm not high on AJB, but don't think I'd do it with him either. I don't see ARob as a buy low in redraft. I do expect he will rebound some later in the season as Fields improves, but I still rank Pittman higher ROS. ARrob does have a great matchup this week, so we'll see if he does anything.

I rejected and he countered with Lockett + Pitts for Chase + Pittman. I asked him if he’d take AJB instead and he said no. I’m guessing this is closer but still a no? Chase is so good I really don’t wanna get rid of him, but I feel like it’s a big te upgrade

With Lockett not doing much lately already and having the uncertainty of losing Wilson, I wouldn't do it with Chase or AJB either.

Also, Pitts is good, but you've got to remember that Ridley and Gage were out last game and their opponent sucked. He had a slow start to the season that is bound to pick up, but he's not going to be putting up stats like last week on the regular.

I just completed the J Jefferson + Damien Williams for DJ Moore + Perine trade, and 20 mins later, Williams is on the Covid list. Pretty crazy timing! Just saw a video today that talked about Williams value not being high anyway because of the split backfield and the tough schedule before Montgomery returns.

Also, just want get some opinions on a couple of IR guys. I have Michael Thomas in one spot and Jerry Jeudy is out there as well. You guys think these players are pretty even? I think Thomas has the bigger ceiling, but the Saints offense is not a high volume passing one, so I'm not sure how much value Thomas has when he returns. Denver isn't high volume either, but Teddy is capable enough to get the WRs some production.

In Dynasty own Dak, Herbert and Cousins. You can imagine when I saw the bye week schedule I was like "BRO"

Week 7 is a tough one for my team as well. I got J Herbert, D Cook and J Jefferson all on bye that week.
