I did my first ever mock (from #6) and ended up Michael Thomas/Hopkins (which is never my plan until it happened). In the 3rd round it's basically that grouping of RB's. Found myself pretty confused by the choice. Missed Chubb by one pick and then everything went sideways.

As for TE

Anyone notice once you miss Kelce, Kittle, Andrews, Ertz, Waller, that you can totally wait?

I see absolutely no merit in Engram, Gronk, Hooper, Henry, Higbee at their ADP's when Gisecki and Fant are many MANY rounds lower. Crazy?

Do many of your leagues really follow the ADP trends from the big sites?
Of course not but I'm leaving rounds 1 and 2 with at least one RB I really like and if everyone starts going crazy on RB I'm not going to panic and reach for a RB almost a round early. That should mean that some better WR's than I though would be there probably dropped so I'll be strong in WR in that league and do the annual waiver wire scramble and just let the chips fall where they may.
Bad strategy? I guess it's easier to hit on a WR late than a RB...

Yeah, bench dependent I'm planning on drafting two late TE's hoping to hit on one.

Re: 2020 Fantasy Football Thread

I'm down for a best ball league as I've never done one and I'm already up to 3 teams this year and never done more than that and am a bit scared about adding a 4th.

Yeah, its nice to have the stud receivers, but your RB2 that you get at your 4th pick will probably come with alot of variance. Instead of Hopkins, maybe take your fav RB in that area. Can't fault you for taking M. Thomas at 6.

I like Engram at his ADP as a fine pick. I think after him is where I wait.

Good points. Going to have to reevaluate.

Engram is always fun for his 4 NFL games per year

I'm hard on him but he always makes me right.

I dunno if I can pass on Hopkins at #18 too much guys in PPR. He's gonna win you a lot of weeks by himself.

Yep.....quietly in a contract year. Minshew needs to be good enough to get teams to defend them differently. Open up that box a little.

Re: 2020 Fantasy Football Thread

If we do a slow-draft best ball, count me in. As we get into September, I don't think my availability will be so good.

I'm a teacher and there's a ton of uncertainty. I could have all the time in the world, no time, or anywhere in-between.

I loved fournette coming out of school. Last couple of years though he looks like he has lost some of the speed/quickness he had coming out of LSU? He also seems unmotivated? I know heís had a tough situation w qb/oline/stacked boxes but something seems off. Maybe thatís priced in here in third round vs first or second round backs though

Obviously meant godwin would have better year than evans (not brady). But yes, think Brady can still nail the tight window throws that would seem to fall in godwin wheelhouse

3. 5 south
4. Wolves
5. Chuckles
6. Rockstar
7. That_Pope
8. Precept24 (if slow draft + best ball)
9. rickroll
10.

9/10 - we can probably start another thread to discuss how exactly we want to run this? Any taker for the last spot?

I'm down for any kind of slow draft. You talked me into it. I'd prefer not to pay rake at leaguesafe, but it's not a dealbreaker.

Whatever we do, i second the notion that it shouldnt stifle conversation in this thread. I strongly prefer a strong/informative thread to adding and making a few dollars from a new league
