he's expected out 1-2 weeks. I think at 1-5 you have to hold Taylor

Use #1 waiver priority on Dallas Goedert?

Currently have Hurst and Hockenson.

Boston Scott is available but likely wouldn't be a starter for me next week.

Do the Panthers have a running back?

How do your waivers work? If it's a yearly thing and you just go to the bottom of the priority list, I wouldn't. If it's standings based, then sure.

Doesn't reset if you don't use it, thanks.

At 1-5, you really have to sell out to win this week. There should be no players on your bench that are on byes or injured starters. Trade any player of value you're not starting for better starters. Rinse and repeat. Trade any starter on bye the rest of the season. Yes, you'll be lessening the talent on your team each week, but you're not going to make the playoffs with that talent. You prioritize making the playoffs with any ragtag group you can and hope to get lucky in the playoffs. Once I started a season 1-5, did this, made the playoffs at 7-6 and lucked into winning the title over a much better team that dominated all season.

Ended up getting Minshew. Another interesting development: Chubb got dropped this morning. I’m 5-1 (probably playoff bound) and thinking of dropping ~33% FAAB on him. (Other RBs: CEH, RoJo, JamesRo). Love the “can’t take FAAB to the grave”.

Chubb might be worth all of your FAAB unless you see other guys out there who could be league winners if injuries pave the way. Must be shallow benches and lack of IR for Chubb to get dropped.

yeah I'd ship my FAAB on Chubb

Chubb netted me a whopping 4.5 points in my championship loss last season.

#neverforget.

Did I screw up trading Andrews for Bell in redraft half-PPR? I have Kelce and am going to need a RB2 down the stretch (using Mike Davis now, other options are Freeman and Dobbins), so I thought it was worth the risk on what Bell could be in the KC offense in a few weeks. Plus if CEH goes down, he’s a potential league winner.

I would have looked for a better RB than Bell for Andrews personally.

But he does have outs to be a league winner for sure, so it could work out for you in the end.

With Mixon not practicing, I dropped Ingram for Gio as a Mixon owner.

Yeah, seems quite bad to me. Don't see Le'veon as much different value-wise than Freeman.

yeah I added Gio everywhere I could

.5PPR 2r/2r/2flex

Diontae Johnson got dropped and I have $159 of $200 of my budget left. Thinking about doing 60ish. Thoughts?

watson
Aaron Jones, J Robinson, Gurley, Melvin, James White, Justin Jackson
Adams, Julio, Marquise brown, John Brown, Landry, Tim Patrick, Corey Davis, Lazard
h henry, goedert

With lazard & goedert in IR spots I was leaning toward patrick over davis.

Schefter tweeted about some teams being interested in signing AB, Seahawks in particular. If you have room, seems like now is the time to stash.

my gut tells me 30% faab is high for Johnson.

Don't get me wrong, talent is there and he's in a system where he could produce. I drafted him in 2 leagues and pulled the trigger on one trade after week 2 that only made sense if I was banking on him being my WR2. I just have this sinking feeling he's gonna be one of those guys all the "sharps" are high on this year that never produces due to nagging injuries and circumstances which limit the breakout.

On the other hand 6 weeks in and FAAB is gonna lose value going forward, and you're not likely to see another WR on waivers with his potential ceiling. From that view 60 seems fine but I wouldn't go much higher.

I'd drop Davis over Patrick

Really torn on his value. I was all-in preseason and then 2 promising but uneventful outings, 2 cut short hurt outings and 2 missed games I have no ****ing clue if he is worth $60 in FAAB.

That said, since I also have Sanders, Thielen, Hilton, and Gaskin on bye I will be rolling Diontae out once again and hoping for the best!

I #trustinDiontae.

Unless you think he’s just going to be injury riddled, I think he’s worth most, if not all, of the FAAB.

If he’s on the field, he’s going to be a top 15-20 fantasy receiver with top 5 potential any given week.

The Steelers know how to scout receivers.

Personally, I'd go higher than 60. He's good. Really good. He'll return WR2 numbers from here on out.
