Looking about 0% now. 0-5 this week. Fantasy is a lot of fun.

I guess game script is in my favor. I need everything to go my way in the second half.

Re: 2020 Fantasy Football Thread

My RBs combined for 5.4 points (Ingram and Swift).

My highest scoring RB of the 8 on my team was Latavius Murray and his 7.0.

I woulda won if I started him instead of Swift.

Ingram
Swift
Cohen
Mattison
Murray
Boston Scott
AJ Dillon
Lindsay

0 RB doesnt always work

Christmas miracle, won both.

Re: 2020 Fantasy Football Thread

Alright, time to rebound this week. I'm going 5-0!!

I guess the good news is that I have at least one win in all 5 leagues. The bad news is that I'm 1-2 in four of them lol.

Goedert and Reagor are killing me right now. Both said to be out multiple weeks but waiting for them to hit IR. gonna be mad if I have to drop one or both of them to play waivers tonight only for them to hit IR later this week.

Re: 2020 Fantasy Football Thread

I’m considering offering this trade, but not sure how to value Taylor’s keeper value $200 auction lg (I also have a bet with him at $1 per point difference for the season)

Taylor (kept for $15, 25, 40 next 3 yrs)
Cooks (just throwing him in)

For

Nuk (potentially kept for $55)
Keenan (potentially kept for 20something)

The guy is drawing almost dead at the playoffs due to horrific injury luck

My roster

Dak
Cmc, DJ, Conner, Taylor, M Davis
Chark, Edelman, TY, Gallup, Gage, Cooks
Kittle, Goedert

One important note is we have pretty significant punishments for last place 1yr someone had to get their record tattooed on their body, another someone had to get frosted tips for 2 weeks. So avoiding last is critical lol

yeah looking like first week that will be affected by covid. curious to see how it all goes down.

could see this being an unscheduled bye week for TEN/PIT and move the game to later in the season. also seeing may they look to play it Tuesday? either way interesting and impactful from a fantasy standpoint.

Punted QB on draft day - now stuck here 12 team PPR 2rb/3wr/flex

Wentz, Jones
Kamara, Sanders, Gaskin, Mattison, Edmonds, Moss
Thielen, Lockett, Diontae, Hilton, Crowder

Have waiver claims in for Burrow or Fitzpatrick dropping Jones

Got offered Stafford, Latavius for Hilton, Edmonds - gotta take this right?

Re: 2020 Fantasy Football Thread

1-2 after Brown and Andrews decided they didn't like catching anymore. I've got a lot of scraps at the end of a bench and the #2 waiver in a deep league. These are sitting out there (and this is probably the order I like them in):

Justin Jefferson, Tee Higgins, Greg Ward, Cobb, Gronk

Cobb may be too low, he could honestly average 13-14 per game in PPR

I will cut Snead (was a late picking when reed went to IR), can in theory cut Chase Claypool, and would cut one of Gio or Jalen Richard who are at the very end of the bench.

I personally like all their utilization trends, and I suspect if I burn the #2 on Jefferson, I'll get one other of those guys too.

I don't know that saving that waiver now is going to give me all that much. You guys burn it too? The #1 waiver guy is holding pretty steady but he's also 1-2. I think he might grab Jefferson. So I'd potentially burn the #2 on Higgins. But in that offence he might be really good. All they do is pass.

I'd take that trade for sure. Keep in mind Stafford has a week 5 bye and Wentz is up against Pittsburgh in w5. not great.

Edit: just re-read 3wr league. tougher call depending on what WR waivers looks like. Is Crowder supposed to be back next week? Diontae I assume will be good but will need a contingency plan just in case.

Re: 2020 Fantasy Football Thread

Btw it's starting to feel like Antonio Brown will be a thing this year.

Between the Ravens, Texans, Packers, Colts, maybe Saints, maybe Bills?

I'd say there's as big a market as you could hope. I think for the risk/reward depending on bench sizes, it's worth tracking. He's been real quiet which is a good sign.

Playing a team this week starting Henry and Connor. would be a good deal for me.

I wouldn't take this personally. Hilton has been bad but now they are out Pittman and Campbell...he has to start doing something. Would prefer to keep the WR depth with Diontae/Crowder injuries. Don't think Stafford is much better than what you will be able to stream

If they play it on a Tuesday, all hell will break loose for Fantasy. Some people will sit their Titan/Steelers assuming that game won't count, others will start them. I'm sure the Thur-Mon schedule is pretty firmly hardcoded, especially since most leagues do waivers Tuesday night/Wed morning.

Unless you hear specifics from the platform you play on, I would lean toward sitting any Titan/Steeler player this week IF they schedule it for a Tuesday.

I see no way yahoo and espn can code for this. Imho most of the rescheduled games will be lost to fantasy.

Re: 2020 Fantasy Football Thread

I think that was more just speculation from people on Twitter. Saw a notification they could move bye weeks around so TEN/PIT would have week 4 byes. Not really a long term fix though if this happens again.

Nah, you can stream and get equal or better production than Stafford, especially in a league where Burrow isn't on a roster yet. That's a big part of the beauty of punting QB.

I would def pick Burrow up though, and prob prefer him ROS to Stafford. Don't be afraid to drop Wentz too.

Didn't they expand practice squads specifically for this risk of having players need to drop due to COVID exposure?
