9-91-1 on 12 targets
4-65-0 on 10 targets
7-73-0 on 8 targets
8-101-1 on 9 targets

4 games is a pretty small sample but it's possible the changing of the guard is happening. Ertz should have had two TDs Sun and they might have to hold Goedert back to pass block more but he looked like their best offensive weapon Sunday.

Ertz still a big risk of being a target hog though.
Yup. Goedert and Ertz, even as TEs, have been their most consistent receivers for a while now. D Jax, always injured, although I'm encouraged if he can stay on the field. He got 7 targets on limited snaps. Alshon, always injured. Agholor sucked. J.J. sucks. Reagor is a rookie.

I already have Goedert in 2/5 leagues. He's available in my 2 8 man leagues where I have Engram/Hurst in one and just Hurst in another. Hoping to get him in at least one.

Re: 2020 Fantasy Football Thread

Probably going to chuck 33% of budget at Goedert in my one 8 man league. The other one is continuous and I have 3rd priority, so hoping to get him. I think the first priority is going to take Hines. Not sure what second priority will do.

Re: 2020 Fantasy Football Thread

MT out a few weeks at least. Good for Sanders, Cook and Kamara owners. Maybe Murray too.

Do we even have faith in any of the other receivers?

Trequan Smith could be worth a flier in deeper leagues, but idk, Brees looked pretty bad.

Fair point on using them longer.

There are a few players I wouldn't bat an eye at spending 25% FAAB for, specifically Hines in PPR or .5PPR. He'll likely go for more imo. I don't expect his week one production by any means to stay consistent but he's clearly got a role and Mack's injury secures him a larger share of that backfield. even blowing 50+ % of FAAB on him could easily return value if you get him in that role for 12+ weeks. He's Flex startable right now and I don't see that changing.

Brown I'm less high on. He looked by far the best back for LAR in week 1 but Akers is very likely to work his way into a larger share of that backfield. If anything i see Brown's role diminishing over time.

Snell is the wildcard. Obviously looked very good in week 1 and Connor always has injury concerns, but we don't know much about Connor's injury yet. I don't see this turning into a committee but Snell's handcuff value went way up and he could return good value if Connor is missing any time the next few weeks.

AP looked good but has same concerns that Brown does with Swift looming. He'll probably go for 1/3-1/2 what Brown will go for in FAAB and could easily return equal value. I'd bid on AP over Brown all day.

Don't think I'd bid much on Gage, Hurst eats into his targets as the season goes on imo. I'd rather bid on Scotty Miller than Gage.

Not bidding on Barber or Mckinnon.

Kelly is sneaky. got 12/33 RB carries in week 1 for LAC including the goal line work. Looked good. Will probably get next to zero targets however.
Backing up the truck to me is a 40% bid or more, but even 20-30% bids can severely cripple your high leverage buying power in the right spot.

Most leagues have guys like Edmonds, Mattison, Pollard, etc. already owned. But if someone like Mixon, A Jones, Jacobs, etc. goes down, that backup is where I want to be shoving in my chips. Personal preference/style. I think in this specific context of Mack/Hines/Taylor, it is still very conceivable Hines fades quickly.

I am talking in the frame of 0ppr.... PPR or even 0.5 does make a difference.

Agree. I think Goedert is the best add this week.

I think that is too much for an 8 man league, personally I wouldn't spend north of 20%.

Re: 2020 Fantasy Football Thread

Maybe so, but there is one crazy guy who is willing to spend and he rolled out Gronk this week. I want to get Goedert over him.

There are so many cuffs available on the wire, that I can still plan and get them where I need to. Pollard, Edmonds, Snell, Kelley, Darrell Williams, etc all available. Not to mention I have backup fire power in other backs if my guys get injured.

Goedert has TE1 equity, especially if Ertz gets shipped. Seems worth it in 8 man.

DJM and JRob for MT in dynasty? He probably wouldn’t do with how much he overvalued MT (wanted CMC and Jacobs for him this offseason), and I’m not really sure I want to do the deal with Moore being 4 years younger.

I assume you mean DJ Moore and James Robinson?

If yes I would tell you to buzz off.

At the same time I'd tell him to buzz off asking for CMC and Jacobs, lol.

Watched the raiders game again. Carr looked at Edwards exactly one time all game and it was a manufactured touch. He looked great on that play but man one look? I would hold him one more week if you could just to take one more look at him but I don't blame anybody for dropping him. Looks like a miss in redraft.

Re: 2020 Fantasy Football Thread

Anyone have any deep insights on Kerryon Johnson.

Specifically, should he be rostered in a 12 player league?

Haha, I was going to say the same thing. He somehow looked good on that little play. Just looked way quicker than he should for someone his size.

Corey Davis
I didn't watch the game, how did he look?
I'll probably pick him up in a few spots if he clears waivers.
My only reasoning is last year I avoided Parker like the plague, so let bias get in the way of value.
Not loving it but where I have a bench spot I'll give him an add and hold until something better comes along just in case he has a year 8 breakout.

I think this is a decent offer especially if they are desperate and 0-1
