Kamara, Hunt, Miles Sanders, James Conner, Dalvin Cook all seem like contenders also...moreso than Singletary at least

Oh yeah, Kamara is an answer.

the new best ball site Underdog is legit, just like draft, i got 22 of the $25/1mill best ball drafts going (10hr) clock and its the same ease as 2 tabling on other sites.

trying to build as many correlated unique lineups as possible... got a cool Cinci / SF / DEN stack that most likely will get last place but if they are all top 10 offenses we can win the 200k up top.

What are people doing for dynasty/keeper leagues with regard to COVID opt-outs?

We have a 12 team league where you must keep 5 players. We have IR spots that traditionally can be used after the season starts. No one really worth keeping has opted out yet, but what happens if someone does?

Options:

1) Manager can put opt-out player on IR before the draft, then keep 5 other players. Will have to decide if the opt-out player is keeper-worthy next year.

2) Opt-out player can be kept, but then must be put on post-draft IR and manager essentially loses a good player.

3) Opt-out player gets tossed into the draft-- where someone will pick him up late round, and then stash him on IR rest of year.

Thoughts?

I guess it depends when your keeper date is and when your draft date is. I'd be looking for that to be after the opt out deadline.

But it's kind of tough titties if one of your good guy's opts out. It's like Luck retiring. Nobody got compensation.

Yeah people complaining it isn’t fair. It is basically random and each team has the same chance of being impacted. The people who kept complaining that previous baseball fantasy drafts had to be redrafted are idiots. Just because player values changed doesn’t mean anyone was given an advantage because everyone was on the same playing field. Usually the people complaining loudest are the ones negatively impacted.

My keeper league elected to do a fresh restart with a full re-draft and not do any keepers going into the season or leaving the season. But we only keep 2. Keeping 5 probably involved quite a bite of strategy last year, so it sucks for other people to forego gains/losses from those moves as well.

It's definitely tough lough in dynasty.

If I drafted today CEH would be my #1 avoid. Ive heard him going as high as #7 overall in redraft and many people have him #8 overall. That is a huge risk.

Yes it is. High risk, high reward. I doubt I will take him at his ADP when I finally do my draft in September, but he's now really good value at his ADP before the Williams news. I think the Williams news should bump him to the unanimous top pick in dynasty drafts. Historically, backs thrive under Andy, and that offense is pretty damn good.

The thing that sucks is the rookie factor with the current situation. He won't get the same amount of work that rookies normally do, so he may start off a little slow.

However, he's competing with Washington, Darrel Williams, and Thompson for carries, so it's not like he doesn't have a path to production.

Obviously lolcollege stats, but he averaged 14 carries a game, 94 yards rushing per game, 3.67 receptions per game, 30 yards receiving per game, and converted 17 total TDs last season. He's an all-around back.

I'm worried about them signing mainly Freeman, but any of the veterans out there. McCoy, Lamar Miller. They are clearly in win now mode, so seems likely they want a veteran RB now. How helpful will CEH be in pass blocking? Seems like a big unknown.

I'm very content drafting CEH in the first round going forward and extremely happy with how much I was able to get of him in best ball in the second/third round so far.

I think RB6 behind CMC, Barkley, Zeke, Kamara, Cook is totally reasonable for CEH.

We will see who/if they sign anyone but even if they do I wouldn't be worried about it. I expect him to smash.

McCoy is off the table.

Miller sucks.

Freeman stays injured.

We will see.

Ok, I'm here now, let's talk football.

Actually start this off with a question about a league I'm in.
It's a 10-team auction with 2 Flex & 1 SuperFlex.

Anyone know what kind of prices adjustments to make for the Top 5-6 QBs vs. the rest...anything else to know about price adjustments for the other positions?

Would love to get this thread going, its usually fantastic in the month or two leading up to the season. So i will start with some thoughts rolling around in my head.

1. I like Dalvin Cook to be top scorer in fantasy this year if he signs
2. I dont want shares of Nick Chubb where he is trading thus far. Great talent but Hunt is a real problem.
3. I like Ekeler in ppr out of the Chubb,Jacobs,Sanders area
4. No Julio shares for me this year. He's a beast but they just dont know how to use him in red zone
5. I like Adam Thielen as dark hose to be top wr in the league
6. I dont think the Steelers really believe in James Conner. They've drafted several RBs over last few years and Tomlin always talking up other guys
7. Maybe i am a sucker for Jared Goff, but love him,Cupp,Woods, higbee this year. Oline just needs to hold up
8. AJ Brown feels like a bust to me. Dont love the variance around him having to score 70 yd tds like last year
9. Mclaurin and Chark can be elite if their qbs can be nontrain wrecks
10. Massive if, but if Will Fuller could stay healthy, he would be a top 10 wr
11. DO NOT draft Gronk
12. Think the Bengals offense could be legit this year

Love to see thoughts on mine, or new lists. Dont be shy wolves, get in here

Seems like I will probably get a lot of Hayden Hurst as my TE.

I am getting bullish on Sanders as well. Probably should take him over Chubb in PPR, Mixon as well?

I think Damien Williams will be the player that gets me off to a fast start this year the way that Ekeler did last year.

Need Golden Tate as a solid flex/bye week WR.

Jared Goff or Matthew Stafford likely to be the QB I wait for once people start taking their 2nd QB.

Probably need to plan to keep a QB on bench for emergency COVID
Here was mine from a few weeks ago. Less conversation on top end players like yours.
Obviously Damien Williams note is no longer valid.

I'd rethink Conner. Nobody they drafted is a threat to him this year besides Jaylen Samuels who they apparently don't view as a 3 down back. Tomlin has said, as recently as this offseason, Conner is his guy if he's healthy. Pittsburgh's offense is set to make a big turn around this year offensively with Big Ben back healthy. Look for Diontae Johnson to become Pittsburgh'sv#1 WR this year.

Chark is getting ready to take another step. Did most of his damage last year with Minshew. They have a good connection and that matters. Minshew should be the starter all year this year. I like Chark to finish as a top 10 WR this year. Hard for him to go much higher than that until Minshew takes a step up.

I like Thielen this year as well.

JuJu can't win outside. So they are moving him back to the slot. He was always overrated imo. He had the benefit of playing with an elite QB and the best WR in the league opposite him. So he got a lot of opportunities against soft coverage and made the best of it. When they asked him to step up he failed.

Diontae can win outside. He can win anywhere but he'll be most valuable playing outside against all the top CB in the NFL. There's some tape out there on him and it's frightening. Making CB like Patrick Peterson look lost. Hell Arizona was even doubling Diontae at times. Teams normally will try and get real physical with WR on the outside. That's really their only hope. That's the frightening part about Diontae Johnson. You can't press him. His footwork is insane. It's really his first step that's special. Fast as anybody in the league. If you press him and miss it's over and you're going to miss a lot.

Then you look at his route running and it's elite. He sets guys up perfectly. Gets DB off balance and using those insanely quick feet he's wide open. Diontae himself is not really that fast but he throttles up, down, in, and out of breaks as fast as anybody.

Don't forget after the catch either. He forced a ton of missed tackles last year.

He's Antonio Brown reincarnated. He just has to stay healthy like Brown did and get an elite QB to throw him the ball his entire career and the sky is the limit.

Edit*

JuJu is gone after this year too. Very little chance they give him a big contract.
