Thanks, didn't know this tool was available, it was super helpful. It looks like we're agreeing to his 1st and 6th for my 2nd and 3rd (tool basically calls it even). Looks like i may finally get a share of CEH/Cook, which is cool.

So I'll have CMC and one of likely CEH/Cook/Henry and no 2nd and 3rd picks. Do i have to go WR/WR on the 4/5 turn or can i grab Ertz there if avail (.5ppr Qb/2rb/2wr/te/flex league)

12 Team PPR 2qb/3wr/2rb/te/flex I had 8 pick

(8) Davante Adams (GB - WR) - dalvin, clyde edwards, mixon
(17) Tyreek Hill (KC - WR) - lamar jackson, kittle, aaron jones
(32) Miles Sanders (Phi - RB) - allen rob, deshaun, dj moore
(41) Le'Veon Bell (NYJ - RB) - david johnson, mark ingram, mostert
(56) Keenan Allen (LAC - WR) - brady, brees, hunt
(65) Aaron Rodgers (GB - QB) -chark, sutton, rothesberger
(80) DeVante Parker (Mia - WR) - gallop, fuller, burrow
(89) Evan Engram (NYG - TE) - preston, tannehill, tyrod
(104) Jimmy Garoppolo (SF - QB) - sterling, deebo, philip rivers
(113) Devin Singletary (Buf - RB) - darnold, carr, hunter
(128) D'Andre Swift (Det - RB) - higbee, mack
(137) John Brown (Buf - WR) - desean, kerryon
(152) Sammy Watkins (KC - WR) - chris thompson
(161) Mike Williams (LAC - WR) - lazard, robby anderson
(176) Noah Fant (Den - TE) - baltimore, jack doyle
(185) Ryquell Armstead (Jax - RB)
(200) Younghoe Koo (Atl - K)
(209) Indianapolis (Ind - DEF)

So i dont have a qb3, the ones availible at certain point had same bye as JimmyG so i skipped it. I'll have to make a trade or use like taysom hill week 5.
probably have one too many receivers but its a strong group.
think my qbs will be competitive enough, need miles and bell to deliver
Ryqueel will be my first drop

in this league the 7th pick ended with mahomes and lamar in the 2nd. (in past years ive gone back to back qbs and failed miserably but mahomes and lamar wowie)

Grade this trade proposal. 8 team PPR league, so waiver has some decent QBs.

Team 1

Wentz
Zeke, Gurley, Taylor, Akers, Fournette, Moss, Scott
Julio, Reek, ARob, Chark, AJ Brown, Cooks, D Johnson

Team 2

Mahomes, Kyler, Burrow (just one QB starts)
Henry, Ingram, Hines, Jamaal Williams
Thielen, Metcalf, Parker, John Brown, John Ross, Renfrow

Team 1 trades Brown, Akers and Cooks to team 2 for Kyler and Parker.

Looks great for team 2. Don’t really get it for team 1. Seems like a lot to give up for a qb upgrade, but depth doesn’t matter much in 8 teamers so maybe it isn’t terrible?

Really think you dropped the ball on those first 2 picks, which kinda forced you to do some gross things later on (namely Bell and Arod). If you started out Cook/LJax you could’ve went wr at 41 and Chark at 65 and would be set up real nice. Having to draft a running back in round 4 range is something I would like to make sure avoid if at all possible.

John Brown over DJax only other egregious thing I see. Rest looks solid. Not having a qb3 sucks, but hopefully you can make it work. Good luck!

Uhg! Fantasy football time already. Did my one and only draft last night after very little draft prep. Listened to a couple of podcasts and read a few articles this weekend and did a couple of mocks. Least preparation I have ever done so I expect this will go better than usual

Full PPR
2 QB (6 pt passing td's)
2 RB
3 WR
TE
2 Flex
DST
K
5 bench

So it is a lot of active spots to fill. I think its okay but since fantasy football is 95% random and luck I figure I have a chance. I had the 9 hole in a 10 teamer.

1. (9) Dalvin Cook (Min - RB)
2. (12) Davante Adams (GB - WR)
3. (29) Chris Carson (Sea - RB)
4. (32) Kenny Golladay (Det - WR)
5. (49) Robert Woods (LAR - WR)
6. (52) Matt Ryan (Atl - QB)
7. (69) Mark Ingram II (Bal - RB)
8. (72) Evan Engram (NYG - TE)
9. (89) David Montgomery (Chi - RB)
10. (92) Jared Goff (LAR - QB)
11. (109) Matt Breida (Mia - RB)
12. (112) Deebo Samuel (SF - WR)
13. (129) Kirk Cousins (Min - QB)
14. (132) Parris Campbell (Ind - WR)
15. (149) Chicago (Chi - DEF)
16. (152) Allen Lazard (GB - WR)
17. (169) Ka'imi Fairbairn (Hou - K)

Im ok with this trade for both teams...think team 2 gets better value, but team 1 EV definitely goes up with the trade

Thanks guys. I’m team 1. I’m torn. I really want Kyler so trying not to let my biases get in the way, but feels like his upside is huge. I know I’d be losing from a value standpoint but the 3 I’d be giving up may never get off of my bench. I tried to get Mahomes with better players but he wouldn’t budge lol.

And I’m not threatened by this guy’s fantasy skills at all. Actually concerned with him giving away Kyler or Mahomes to a better team at some point this season if I don’t get one of them now.

Oh boy! Just received another offer, let’s see what it is...

Now he is offering Kyler for Brown and Moss. That seems like a trigger pull for me. Although, I really like Moss’s upside.

Does your answer change if I also have Antonio Gibson?

I somehow forgot to list him. He's not a starter yet, but he's not in the drop zone.

I think you need to hold Gibson for now. Definitely a FOMO on him, although I think there is a high chance he never takes over that backfield. Plus, the offense is just average.

Yeah cutting Gibson would be absurd. He’s like a 6th round redraft pick right now in sharp leagues

Think he's asking if the added depth makes it more reasonable to hold onto Freeman (which it does a bit imo and may indeed tip the scales towards dropping Hines instead), not whether he should drop Gibson instead.

Two drafts last night.

12 teamer, 0ppr, one flex (W/R/T) from the 10 spot.

QB: Brady (9)
WR: Cooper (3), OBJ (4), Hilton (6), Diontae (7), DeSean J (14)
RB: Mixon (1), Ekeler (2), Lindsay (8), AP (10), Pollard (11)
TE: Ertz (5), Jonnu (15)
K: Zuerlein (12)
DEF: KC (13)

14 teamer, 0ppr, one flex (W/R) from the 7 spot.

QB: Burrow (12)
WR: Julio (2), Robinson (3), Boyd (5), Diontae (7), Aiyuk (11)
RB: Cook (1), Bell (4), Lindsay (6), Mattison (8), Pollard (9)
TE: Ebron (14)
K: Tucker (10)
DEF: PHI (13)

I'm not unhappy with either team, although my RB depth on both is the weakest feature of either team. The second one I had to go after Mattison early, it is the type of league where guys try to snipe handcuffs very early. 17 out of the first 28 picks were RBs.

should it be concerning for the NE defense that half their players are sitting out/retiring?

So when facing the savagery of Lamar Jackson in week 1, I can start Andrews and M Brown.

This league is funky because it's only 4pt passing TD, and QBs lose a pt when sacked. So there's some basis here for starting his best receiving options.

Am I thinking about that right? Would be benching Courtland Sutton to start M Brown. Seems....suspect.

Yeah, plus they ran like god in the first half of last season. People expecting anywhere close to that production again will be very disappointed.

Did my first ever auction draft without any preparation, starting at 3 p.m. on the west coast so I ended up having to take a work phone call during it as well. It was a disaster as expected.

Half PPR, 3 WRs plus flex. I went in with the plan to blow like 155 on 3 RBs. Here's how it ended up.

QB: Cam 1, Daniel Jones 1
RB: Zeke 69, David Johnson 28, Dobbins 8, Mack 5, James Robinson 4, Scott 2, Duke 2, D Freeman 1
WR: Tyreek 43, Chark 19, M Brown 10, Cooks 6
TE: Fant 1

So, four WRs when start three and flex, one is already injured, and Brown and Cooks have the same bye. Plus a suspect RB2 and no real RB3. I timed out and auto drafted Daniel Jones as I was trying to find Parris Campbell. Oh well, I've done worse and won it all.

Here's the top prices
1. CMC 77
2. Bark 75
3. Zeke 69
4t. Kamara 61
4t. Henry 61
6. Cook 58
7. MT 57
8. Mixon 54
9. CEH 52
10. Jacobs 51
11. Adams 49
12. Sanders 47
13t. Chubb 46
13t. Drake 46
15. Julio 45
16. Tyreek 43
17t. Hop 39
17t. Ekeler 39
17t. Carson 39
20t. A Jones 38
20t. Godwin 38
22. Kelce 37
23t. Kittle 36
23t. Conner 36

Got off my game a bit during the draft, ended up here 12team PPR

How bad is it??

Alvin Kamara NO, RB (CEH,Henry, Mahomes)

Miles Sanders Phi, RB (Jones, Hopkins, Ekeler)

Adam Thielen Min, WR (juju, woods, OBJ)

Tyler Lockett Sea, WR (Andrews, Akers, Mclaurin)

T.Y. Hilton Ind, WR (Landry , Bell, AJG)

Diontae Johnson Pit, WR (Gibson, M Brown, Waller)

Evan Engram NYG, TE (Higbee, Ingram, M Jones)

Zack Moss Buf, RB (Cooks, Ruggs, Samuel)

Jamison Crowder NYJ, WR (Brees, Lamb, Fant)

Alexander Mattison Min, RB (Aiyuk, Jefferson, C Thompson)

Chase Edmonds Ari, RB

Carson Wentz Phi, QB

Daniel Jones NYG, QB

Eric Ebron Pit, TE

Matt Prater Det, K

Buccaneers D/ST TB, D/ST

Chiefs D/ST KC, D/ST

Obviously my RB depth is **** - Had to pass on Cooks to add Zack Moss and my other two RB need an injury to be relevant

Wonder if Thielen was the correct play in the 3rd

Next question

First three rounds:

Saquon, RB, WR

or

Saquon, (Mahomes or Jackson), (Kelce or Kittle)

Which strategy do we prefer?
