Probably fair. Before I took a K or Def, I'd want at least 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 QB, and 1TE and maybe even 3 RB and 3 WR before looking. However, even it's 1QB, 3RB, 3WR, and 1TE, that'd put you at round 9.
It's just tough because even the best kickers have a ton of variance. I'd probably take my favorite defense before I took a kicker, but I can't argue against streaming defense as the other teams really shouldn't be rostering more than 1 other than maybe bye weeks.
Grabbing Kelce or Kittle seems like a must. They should both be second round picks. I'd also put a premium on grabbing Lamar or Mahomes. Punting on WR until your 4th pick, assuming you have a chance for Kelce/Kittle and Lamar/Mahomes seems like the correct play. You should definitely go top available RB in the 1st round.
Weird league haha. But I guess there is a premium on trying to have the best player available at each position since you're only starting 1 of each (other than the flex decision, of course).
The start/sit decisions each week are going to be painful, especially once injuries and bye weeks start to pile up.
