I hate it for FF, but for regular football, it kind of makes sense. I know they like CEH a lot, at the same time, he's still only a rookie who hasn't gotten the kind of work rookies normally get.

Fournette interested in Rams due to relationship with Ramsey. The fit works. Not like any of the Rams backs are locked in.

But do you have to wait 2-3 days for a trade to process? I couldn’t be in a league like that.

Don’t worry, folks in YPLs hardly ever trade (the endowment effect is strong there)

Line check - going to join a casual league where the only starters are 1QB/1RB/1WR/1TE/1FLX/1K/1DEF. This may seem blasphemous, but I'm planning to nab one of Tucker/Butker near round 9-10 (instead of punting on kickers until the end of the draft) given the small number of starters. Sound ok?

12 teams, 0.5 PPR scoring. I'm still planning to stream defenses. More motivated to grab Kelce/Kittle in this setup.

Kicker scoring same as yahoo (3 pts per FG, 4 or 5 points for longer distances).

Probably fair. Before I took a K or Def, I'd want at least 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 QB, and 1TE and maybe even 3 RB and 3 WR before looking. However, even it's 1QB, 3RB, 3WR, and 1TE, that'd put you at round 9.

It's just tough because even the best kickers have a ton of variance. I'd probably take my favorite defense before I took a kicker, but I can't argue against streaming defense as the other teams really shouldn't be rostering more than 1 other than maybe bye weeks.

Grabbing Kelce or Kittle seems like a must. They should both be second round picks. I'd also put a premium on grabbing Lamar or Mahomes. Punting on WR until your 4th pick, assuming you have a chance for Kelce/Kittle and Lamar/Mahomes seems like the correct play. You should definitely go top available RB in the 1st round.

Weird league haha. But I guess there is a premium on trying to have the best player available at each position since you're only starting 1 of each (other than the flex decision, of course).

The start/sit decisions each week are going to be painful, especially once injuries and bye weeks start to pile up.

Do what I do for bestball, make a list of the weeks with the hardest matchups and byes for each team

Find which teams have the best matchups

Then you'll have a really good replacement in a favorable matchup when your main guy is on bye or faces Chicago etc

Much rather have that kind of depth first before rolling dice on kicker or defense which is pretty much impossible to forecast

Immediately after the draft try to trade all your depth away for Kelce/Kittle, Lamar/Mahomes and/or whoever you see as top 3 RBs & WRs.

Still need one more in this league. The first person to message gets the spot. Either post here, ITT or send me a PM. I'm checking all 3 regularly.

https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/1...eague-1776669/

1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, and 3 regular flex spots. 7 bench spots and 5 IR, to help account for COVID.

There are no kickers or defense. $50 buy in paying $350, $100, $50. 10 man, PPR, relatively standard scoring with nothing special.

As soon as the 10th person has joined, we will begin a slow draft.

Never gonna advocate for going out of your way to pick up a kicker, but another thing to consider in this format (in addition to the increase in value of QB/TE) is that upside is even more valuable than normal with RBs and WRs. The few locked in handcuff RB's increase in value a bunch. Like Kareem Hunt is prob worth more than guys like Melvin Gordon or Todd Gurley, hell even Tony Pollard might have more value than those guys. Dart throws galore. Antonio Brown over guys like Jarvis Landry or Tyler Boyd. Stuff like that.

Where are you drafting kamara and latavius tonight?

right now I think I'd take Henry 1.04 and Kamara 1.05 - if you want to take MT or CEH over Kamara I think that is okay too; but I feel like Kamara is going to sign.

Latavius in the 7-8th seems ok

So you have Cook behind them all? Worried about his contract too?

Kamara wants McCaffrey money. 16m/yr 30m gtd at signing

The Saints have 13 million in cap space right now. They can move some money around and get close but I don't see them being able to do that. They could probably do a Mixon type deal but again Kamara wants McCaffrey money. I'm not sure if Kamara is in their long term plans.......we'll see here soon though.

What I don't like about the Kamara spot is that we are 9 days away from the season and it doesn't seem like they are close to on the same page.

First, it's Kamara is out with unexcused absences due to a possible hold out.

Then, it comes out the Saints are open to trading him.

Then, 2 hours later, Kamara and his agent are saying neither asked or demanded for a trade. They thought they were negotiating and making progress on an extension and that Kamara has been in the building every day and never threatened to hold out.

It just seems sour already.

And to Wolves point, Kamara isn't getting CMC money, especially from an organization like the Saints. Throw in the fact Murray is behind him and more than capable and it's over.

The Saints need Kamara this year. They just want him to get his butt back to camp so they trying to scare him but man in that offense a lot of cheaper guys would work ok. They aren't Kamara but they won't cost 16m/yr either.

Now they say he will be back tomorrow and the reason he was out was because of an epidural shot in the back.

Spoiler:
The sides were close on an extension but then things went sideways.

So at this point, it’s anyone’s guess.

Mattison, Murray, Edmonds, and Moss some other candidates for late round flyers that turn into a lot of the guy ahead of them gets injured or holds out (in Murray’s case).

Mildly disappointed there isn’t a “rate my draft/team” thread this year.

Yeah I’m a little more worried about Dalvin. Feels a lot less likely he gets a deal although he should still play.. all comes down to risk tolerance really. I’d still take dalvin 1.07 or 1.08.

I much prefer RB round 1 so don’t think I’ll end up with any Mike Thomas this year unless he lasts to 1.09 range and I have that pick

I have pick #5 in a PPR on Thursday, thinking potentially Michael Thomas if he's there. Or I'll have the choice of Kamara/Cook.

Considering their holdouts, would you take Henry over them in a full PPR?
