Yeah 8 is a little weird. I’m planning to stick with Lamar. I’ve rode him this far, and his schedule is finally opening up. But no guarantee he plays this week.

Rostered QBs are Watson, Rodgers, Murray, Allen/Herbert, Mahomes, Wilson, Cam (worst team in the league that’s given up and he started with Dak), and then me with Fitz/Lamar. Probably drop Fitz for Tanne, but we have short benches plus one regular IR and one COVID IR. So only me and the Allen/Herbert team have 2.

Guy won’t trade Hop and doesn’t want Fuller. He says he’ll do Robert Woods for Gallup and Zack Moss.

In my one league I need to win to get playoffs, I've been sweating over Landry vs. Deebo in PPR. Also have Diontae Johnson starting. That finally opened my eyes that I would be an idiot to not start Landry as COVID insurance and if Big Ben is randomly ruled out. When that close, take the one who's game is starting ASAP in this pandemic season.

I’m dumb for starting CEH over Bell

confirmed.

I have neither player, but I thought CEH (who we really should call MEH) was hurt all week.

Brutal, CEH is active and doesn’t log a snap.

I’m glad I don’t have any shares.

Wow, in one of my leagues one guy will be 10-3.

Based on projections for remaining games, most likely scenario is 6 of us tie 8-5, one not making the playoffs.

Brag - out of 6 leagues, making the playoffs in all but one
Beat - pretty much limping into the playoffs in all and expecting a lot of 1st round eliminations
Variance - fantasy football!

brag - I locked up playoff spots in 5 of 6 leagues
beat - I only have a bye for 1 of those 5 playoff teams
beat - I missed the playoffs for my 1 team by 1 win and I had a loss of 154.3 to 155.4 & another of 151.5 to 152.3.
variance - The 1 league I didn't playoff in has a buy-in that is 43% of my total fantasy football BIs.

Brag - playoffs in 2 out of 3.
Variance - no bye in either one.
Beat - the one I missed, was a total mess. Last place, have scored above 85.14 points in a week twice all year.

All 12 team leagues with 6 team playoffs and top 2 byes

Smallest League: 3-9 likely to finish 4-9 with a 3 game winning streak to end the season!

Middle League: #1 seed and bye

Largest League #1: Lock for playoffs (league where there could be 6 8-5 teams). If I lose I think I'll lose the #2 seed by ~10 total points if all teams end 8-5. Need JuJu to score 13.4 in 0.5 PPR to win (did in 3 of last 4 weeks).

Largest League #2: Need a huge game from Josh Allen and either Diontae or Deebo (not sure who to start, if Josh Allen goes off as needed, then Deebo is more likely to do large damage as well so that is probably where I should go) and small games by JuJu and TJ Watt. Not sure I can get in with a loss, but it is convoluted stupidity because they have the first tiebreaker as H2H.

Since JuJu is on both sides of my two

Im currently the points leader, in 4th place, in my main league, and I'll miss the playoff unless Tyler Bass gets 11 points tonight.

Glad to see the thread crushing. After a down season last year, this season has been easy mode for me so far.

Brag: 5 out of 5 teams have clinched playoff spot

Beat: Not many...I expect these will pile up in the playoffs

Variance: 52-13 overall on the season lol

And that's after starting out 1-4 after week one haha. The rungood has been absurd.

Damn son. My cumulative record, assuming my leads hold today and tomorrow, is 37-28.

I'm playoffing in 4 out of 5 with a bye in one. Took 3rd in two others when top 2 bye, lame. Lost both on points tiebreakers. Oh well, hopefully the first round goes well.

Fuller was a big part of 2 of those teams, though. At least it seems like I'll get CMC back on one of those Fuller squads.

The funny thing is that I think my best squad has the worst record of the playoff teams at 7-6. That's a dynasty startup. I have Ekeler, Cook, A Jones, and Carson. My QBs are bad and it's superflex, but meh, I've been making due. Danny Dimes and Minshew were my QB picks haha. I also have Tua and Dalton. Also rolling Claypool, Cooks, and Woods for my 3 WRs. One team in that league has a good chance at 13-0.

Is there anyone here that doesn’t do playoffs? I’m in 5 leagues and we do knockdown weeks based on the standings for the last 3 weeks, instead of playoffs.

I assume it is something like top 8 make 'playoffs'.

Top 4 scores advance to round 2
Top 2 scores advance to finals

So you are basically playing a round robin. Cuts down on variance and makes it more complicated for amateurs. Both of which are negatives for long term health of the game.

You have to love Diontae Johnson.

I'm going to have a hell of a time picking receivers for the playoffs. One league I start 2 WR and a flex and I have Reek, Diontae, ARob and Julio. I think Reek and Diontae's are must starts with the decision being Julio or ARob. Oh, and Cooks is my 5th WR.

Too bad that my RB2 is bad. At least I have JRob but my other RBs are Zeke, Gurley, JT, Booker, and Jamaal Williams. I guess JT has been decent, albeit inconsistent.

Kyler is my QB. Ravens defense. Sanders K. Tonyan and Gronk at TE.

If Dak hadn't gone done, my team would probably be unbeatable.

Etc

We start them week 14 and the matchups are based on what the standings are going into the week

Top 4 spots get paid after week 16. Top 3 in my 10 team

Yeah someone years ago called them knockdowns because if you lost you were knocked down in the standings. Idk I guess the name just stuck
