Can I say I hate having guys play on Thursday.

Got OBJ/Mixon in one league and I can just feel being 0-2 in that league already.

Interesting. Conner practiced in full today. Still probably will be on a limited snap count.

He's playing for a contract and he's super close to losing his job to Snell. This is why I grabbed Snell everywhere I owned Conner. I have never liked his talent but Pittsburgh does/did.

If its close I generally sit guys playing on thursdays. I don't know if I'd start OBJ this week.

but in one league I have Chubb, Mixon, and Hunt all starting tonight. Expecting Cleveland to run 40 times after last week only 23 combined carries between Chubb and Hunt. Hoping for more Mixon targets as well.

100% package one of those TE in a 2-for-1 upgrade, your team will be bulletproof with a first rounder in the flex. Ideally an RB as your depth isn't great. Someone like Cook, Jacobs, Henry or CEH is elite.

Agree. He's thinner than he thinks at RB.

Lol. Burrow 3/13 on throws to AJ.

Tonight was a good night for my boy Boyd!

Also, buy low on Mixon. Right now. Do it. Some poor souls will give him up for less than value.

So here's a trade I was offered in redraft PPR:

I give K. Allen and Darrel Williams. In return I receive Austin Hooper (FWIW offer made prior to TNF). Also of note, is the fact that my TEs are Ertz and Olsen.

On a 1-10 scale of ridiculousness what do you rate this? I'm at like at least a 25.

Who would you rather have right now considering the cost it took to draft or acquire them.

Chubb?
Hunt?

Keep in mind Cleveland probably won't have a lot of leads this season......

Don't panic on Ertz he's one of the better buy lows right now.

You might have misread that. I have no intention of doing anything other than staying on the Ertz train. The dude offered me Hooper as if that is some sort of upgrade. And in return he wanted K. Allen and D. Williams.

Bad. I hated Hooper before TNF. I hate Hooper after TNF.

I also don't like Allen and Williams is only a handcuff, but they are definitely worth way more than Hooper. Especially if you have Ertz. No thanks.

Hooper was made by the ATL offense and Ryan last year. Baker doesn't hit his TE and the offense isn't built around that.

So yeah, super ridiculous haha.

PPR Hunt, even without accounting for draft cost. But if accounting for it, Hunt by a mile.

Non-ppr, still Hunt when accounting for draft cost.

Hunt before the draft. Hunt after the draft.

Chubb and Hunt ADP should have been way closer than they were.

Yeah, I'm not saying Allen and Williams are studs, but they're unquestionably rosterable in 12-team PPR. Hooper arguably isn't. And he is supposedly worth both of those guys?

Yup. I wouldn't even trade Williams for Hooper straight up unless TE desperation was at an all-time high.

That's how low I am on Hooper or any TE in Cleveland.

Although, Cleveland is weird. Chubb was leading 20-1 in rushes. Then all of a sudden, Hunt just rocks it and it ends up 22-10.

Hunt and Chubb both get 2 TDs. Hunt does it on half the touches.

thatll likely be more of the game script for the browns. if they have hunt with fresh legs for Q3/4 they can have a great run game. of course, that assumes theyre in close games and not behind the entire game.

Steelers wk 17

Not a bad schedule at all for Cleveland. Hunt owners dodge playing the Steelers a 2nd time. Problem is this ship has sailed. Now is not the time to be going after Hunt because everybody knows he's good and in a decent/good situation.

On a side note. Next week will tell us what we need to know about the Cleveland OL. Washington DL is almost as good as it gets. Will be interesting to see how that works out.

Is there any chance Odell returns to his Giants greatness or even somewhere close?

I think this is the best chance I have to get something back for him.

Edit: There was the PI that was not called, so he should've been closer to 100 w/2 TDs. Still nervous though.

I think OBJ is in his raiders Randy Moss stage.
Good chance that he moves on more matured and puts up good numbers again before all is said and done.

Odell actually has a nice target share. In his 18 games with Cleveland, he has averaged 8.25 targets per game. Baker is just not good at getting him the ball.

His best year for catch percentage was actually his rookie year at 70%. He ranged from 59.8% to 70% in his career with Eli.

Last season he was at 55.6%. Through the first two games this year he is at 43.8%.

He's also not catching TDs at nearly the rate he did in his first 3 seasons.

I think Odell can be great. I just don't think he can be great with Cleveland. I guess we will see.

But yeah, if you want to dump Odell in redraft, now might be the time to do it. He will have nice games here and there, but he will also have the 3 for 20 duds like he did in week 1.

You could hold onto him in dynasty and see if Cleveland can somehow trade him. But he's not going to be a UFA in 2024. At that point, he will be 31.
