Appears to be the odd man out in Detroit so merely handcuff value

I'll probably pick him up in a few spots if he clears waivers.
My only reasoning is last year I avoided Parker like the plague, so let bias get in the way of value.
Not loving it but where I have a bench spot I'll give him an add and hold until something better comes along just in case he has a year 8 breakout.
Davis has produced whenever given targets, he is just stuck in a terrible fit with the Tenn offensive philosophy

Worth a stash in redraft and should be actively targeted in dynasty. Contract year and would not be shocked to see him bounce to a pass friendly team and settle in as a reliable wr2 at a cost of basically zero

Seriously, not sure where people find leagues where talent like Goedart is hanging out on waivers.

If the Eagles don't leapfrog the Cowboys in the 2018 draft he would already be in the top 5 TE conversation. Cost to Philadelphia was pick 169 Jordan Wilkins (lol)

Jerry Jones face looked like he got kicked in the dick when they announced that trade, as I am sure he already had his card written out

Anybody have thoughts on Miles Gaskin?

I know, RBBC on a shitty team usually spells disaster but his acquisition cost is basically nothing and he did lead the Dolphins in touches and production.

Worth dropping my TE2 (Ebron) for a speculative add?

Very good read on that situation. Philly ****ed themselves too. They are in pretty serious salary cap trouble right now too. Young players on cost friendly rookie deals is exactly what they need. That's why Ertz is probably gone and I wouldn't be shocked if Wentz was traded too.

I did this, worked out super well. Still got Gage.

In my two FAAB leagues:

Hines went for 30% and 11%
Brown went for 30% and 18%

The same guy bid 30% each and got them both in one league.

Hines and Brown went 18% the only league where they were available. The same player got them both.

I got Goedert for 20%. I could have had him for 10% though. Oh well. Stoked to have him.

my 3 FAAB leagues

malcolm brown: 35%, 100%, 33%
Goedert: 14%, not available in other 2 leagues
Gaskins: 7.5%, 9%, 5%
Hines: was N/A in all 3 leagues
snell: was N/A in all 3 leagues

EDIT: The league where brown went for the whole budget is a 12 team start 2r/3w/2flx & 8 bench spots so there is less out there on waivers than most other leagues.

I got Fant for 14.5%!

Here are the other >10% bids across different leagues.
Snell: 30.4%
Brown: 33.6%
Logan Thomas: 15%

And in my non FAAB league, I had 4th priority. Brown and Goedart went ahead of me and I got Snell as the Conner owner. 8 of our 12 people put in a claim for Brown. I had Snell ahead of Brown in my claims and I was one of 2 to claim him. Those were the only 2 claims I put in.

Hines and Robinson were owned everywhere.

Gaskin was not claimed in 3 of my leagues, and I claimed for 3.1% in another (in which I mismanaged my roster and will likely have to drop him).

It seems like the higher the FAAB, the cheaper players go. I am currently in a 300, 500, and 1k FAAB and players went by far for more in the 300 one.

I wouldn't take any less than the second half of tier 1RBs plus at least a WR2/WR3 in return.

Something like Aaron Jones or Drake or Carson + receivers like Hilton or Allen. The team you trade with is probably going to have to be strong at RB.

That's tough in a 14 team league. You don't want to give MT away, but at the same time, by the time he's back you could already be close to out of the playoff race.

Don’t think anyone is giving up a legit 2nd round pick like Jones or Drake for Thomas, let alone throwing something else in. If you had a draft right now, no way Thomas goes in round 2.

Whether to trade him or not is largely dependent on how you think your team can weather the next few weeks. His value is unlikely to ever be lower than it is right now, so I’d only be looking to deal if I felt desperate, like if I had picked Conner and Golladay or something.

Yeah, I guess I'm overvaluing Thomas right now. But that's what is going to make trading him so tough. When he returns, he will return top 5 WR value, but how much is someone willing to give up to wait on that?

I might try and target Kelce with my Thomas + gronk.

my rbs will still suck

idk - the injury could definitely be lingering and hinder him the rest of the season. He also could be easily out until week 7 after the Saints bye.

I am all for trying to acquire him cheap where I have depth, but wouldn't be sending huge deals for him with 1st/2nd round talent.

Kareem Hunt plus Marvin Jones for MT a good example?

Very tough to get a fair deal with a Thomas owner that doesn't cripple your team in the short run.

Would shock me if any Thomas owner would take this.

Yeah, it's just tough. MT owner thinks value is high. Player trying to acquire thinks value is low. You have to find the middle.

The best play is to wait a few weeks and hope the MT owner is 0-3 or 0-4 then offer him two startable players.

Yep. Let the pain sink in a bit.

Trades in first couple weeks are always tough, people are still too tied to their draft value. I like finding those down-and-out teams after a couple weeks as you say and trying to find the right proposition. Usually works well, can either pick away at their depth or they will happily package out their disgruntled early round picks just to shake it up.

Don't see how Robinson is overhyped. He looks like he will dominate backfield touches on a decent offense. That makes him basically a lock to finish in the top 20 with a shot to finish in the top 12.

You think he can score more than the 3 TDs Leonard scored last year? Haha.

I'll be a believer if they give him more work catching. If he's just going to run it 15x a game and that's it, I still think he's mainly TD dependent. At least in 12 teamers and less. If you're 14 teams + that 6-10 points of just rushing yards is probably worth it.

Defense probably going to have them behind a lot too, so going to make it even tougher if he's not catching balls.

here is a good one around making an offer for MT.

MT owner is 0-1 with lowest points and is looking to sell.

PPR, QB/2RB/3WR/TE/Flex/K/DEF

my team:

QB: Stafford
RB: Cook, Sanders, Gurley, Robinson, Snell, Brown, Kelley, Mattison, Pollard
WR: Juju, Sutton, Landry, Crowder, DJax
TE: Engram

need to cut 2 anyway this week for K/DEF, although Sutton and/or Sanders could be out this week.

trying to find an offer that works. He has Odell so doesn't want Landry.

Gurley + Djax for MT? Feels like a big win for me with my RB depth although my WR situation would be a little shaky. Gage available as FA (this league is bad with waivers..)

I think it’s fair and don’t see how it hurts your WR even in the short term since DJax is replacement level. Gage has a good matchup this week against Dallas.
