guys in standard I can't conceive ever benching Singletary for Diggs or Kupp. In PPR it's academic. In standard the volume RB has to always be the right play.

John Brown is a very interesting case. He's a lot safer floor than both Kupp and Diggs. It's possible a better ceiling too given the Giants D. I think guys like him and Watkins will be league winners.

Getting the snaps is different from getting the rock. Not saying Singletary is the wrong play, but when I think of volume RB, I think Zeke, Lev, Saquon. Now, Singletary may be the primary back but it's still a timeshare in terms of volume. Gore's skill doesnt matter. He's gonna get fed if there is a lead to put away. And that lead doesn't require Singletary and Brown to have a double digit games, considering Allen is the QB and scoring 13-17 points could constitute a lead to put away.

standard, non-ppr. pick 2 (WR/FLX)

Godwin @CAR
Diggs @GB
McLaurin vDAL
R Jones @CAR

Noob Q. If I pick Godwin he goes in the WR spot because he plays tonight and the other as FLX in case of a late injury situation correct?

I think your RB/WR decisions are obvious. I mentioned why I like Fitz above, take it or leave it.
I can understand going with Fitz over Hilton I suppose. What I can't understand is the take that KJ over Henry is obvious. With CJ Anderson in the mix, KJ is a little more of a committee back than Henry, no?

Chargers can't tackle. But maybe defenses dont matter.

I just like a Bevell RB to get his against what Bevell will perceive as a great matchup, though. I'm a bit scared of CJ volume but I cant get over Bevell's M.O. of feeding one guy and running him into the ground.

PPR:

Andrews vs Ari
McDonald vs SEA

want to start andrews, but worried his snap count was mostly just third downs last game

.5 PPR
Fuller vs JAX
Robbie Anderson vs CLE

Strange League where u dont start getting points for catches until u get 5, and big bonus for long tds:

TY Hilton at TEN
John Brown at NYG

Probably too late but McLaurin should see a lot of targets in a game playing from behind. Like that option.

Flex one of these for me please?

-D. Singletary @ NYG
-A. Jones v. Minn
-K. Golladay v. LAC

Half PPR

Don't love Jones match-up, or he'd obv be the choice.

I'm starting Josh Allen at QB, if that plays into the decision at all.

Thoughts?

Still like Andrews despite snap count. (Which could go up) Arizona will give up some offense.

Fuller is boom or bust but Anderson has T-Rev at QB. (Back-up) Hou has too many WRs to cover, Fuller should get open for a couple big plays. Usually does.

Jackson is safer for four quarters of volume but three of Brady before they hand it off to close should get you there. ARI runs so fast that no way Jackson doesn't get there either. I think it's Jackson but closer when I think about it.

PPR

Josh Gordon vs MIA
Tyrell Williams vs KC

With AB in the air, even if he plays, still not sure. If it makes a difference, I have mccaffery laid an egg so far, but opponent had Cam lay an egg too

It's close but Williams is a #1 for his team. Depending on how the game script plays out, Gordon could see pretty limited targets. (NE gets up by 24 in the fisrt half and just lets the RBs carry it.)

OAK should be playing from behind and it's pretty much just Williams and Waller. I can see big game scenarios for him, whereas it's harder to see that for Gordon. (How many targets can he really see?)

My two cents.

Total points favors Gordon

Gamescript favors the gazelle

I go with gamescript

Odd question, but what do you think the odds are that Rosen has at least 1 attempt this week.

I'd YOLO Gordon and Kirk. Both teams can score so much, they feel safe. And Both can score so much you get two TDs
