That's the first time I've heard any part of the prize going to weekly winners. Gross. I'm done Best Balling now. Time to focus on Redraft.

Edit: Draft >>>>>>>> MFL10

I'm sticking with DRAFT (formerly MFL10s) for 2019.
this flat structure is what I love, really encouraged me to go max out and put a silly amount on something largely out of my control

2.5x 1st
1.5x 2nd
1x 3rd
.25x weekly 1st (x16 = 4x)
1x rake

Given there are only 10 teams, there's a decent chance any top 3 team will have at least 2x weekly first place finishes.

I assumed 1 team would be dead money each draft but it's really like 2-3x, even in the $100 ones

it's not going to be a payout bonanza when you do well, but there's so little in my own control that I'd prefer a structure like this where even a mediocore team will likely recoup a portion of the buyin

if I were doing 50x $1 leagues, I'd vastly prefer the winner take all format though

My preference is the "top 3" structure that DRAFT started last year:
1st: 7.5x
2nd: 2.5x
3rd: 1x

(for 12 teamers)

So it's slightly flatter than winner-take-all (you can still play the "classic" 10x for 1st, 1x for 2nd payout structure), but still enough at the top for my liking.

If you crush your Yahoo league and win every week, the total (6.5/10=65%) is pretty close percent-wise to DRAFT (7.5/12=62.5%).

How does Gordon get reinstated?
Dude was suspended for a year for like his billionth drug violation then fails again and he's already back?

Just bitter because I held him in dynasty for like 3 years after giving a late 1st for him and finally cut bait after his suspension last year....

Yahoo just updated their o-ranks dramatically, Curtis Samuel now #71 or something, forget getting him at a decent price there anymore

Yeah it was fun while it lasted. DJ Moore / Curtis are my 1/2 top owned best ball WRs

yeah I thought I was pretty bullish on him around 100ish and after a week or so of not drafting, finalized my last two today and was shocked to see how much his o-rank had changed to the point where it's now a reach to take him where autodraft puts him

What are the odds that Gordon makes it through a full 16 game regular season?

Better than +1000?

seriously lol all this enthusiasm at his return.

I'm rooting for the kid, but he clearly has issues.

PPR
4 points per 25yds passing
6pt passing TD
1 point per 10yds rushing

Anyone have a strong opinion of Lamar Jackson with this somewhat standard scoring? Seems like his conservative floor would be 40yds rushing, 150yds passing which would be the same as averaging 250yds passing for a normal QB which isn't saying a ton these days.
I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up with a ton of Kirk Cousins in the 11th+ rd this year, just wondering if anyone feels there is some nice upside for Lamar.

Isn't Lamar the "Second Coming of Michael Vick"? Didn't Vick have QB1 upside? I also get the Cam Newton vibe from him, even though they are different body types. Very mobile, weak passers.

If Lamar rushes for 700 and 5 TDs (which is close to what he did last year in a partial season), he's pretty much guaranteed a Top-5 season.

+1 yea plenty of folks are QB5+ optimistic about Lamar, and for good reasons. Still, no need to reach for him in drafts (not saying anyone here is)

strongly agree with this
first and third rankings look fine but how do u have tyreek so low? he has even more value in standard vs ppr. he was the number 1 wr last year and has mahomes throwing him the ball.

Tyreek is inconsistent though, I’d rather have a guy score 20 every week than 10 or 30.

Yeah, but MT and JuJu aren’t scoring 20 every week, either.

If anything MT, is the least consistent of the 3 due to the way the Saints gameplan and spread the ball. MT had 7 single digit scoring games in standard last season.

JuJu is still unproven as the top receiver, but he had a hell of a season last year. So I understand why people are super high on him. JuJu had 6 single digit scoring games in standard last season.

Reek has 8 single digit scoring games in standard last season.

In reality, they are all pretty close with similar floors. I just think Reek’s ceiling is the highest.

So 12 team .5 PPR league. 1 QB, 2 RB 2 WR 1 flex. Not a keeper league. Regular snake draft.

Which end do you like better.

Teams swap first, second, fourth, and sixth round picks.
