Nah but I like Curtis Samuel. I didn't know who Waller was until you mentioned him and I saw him on hard knocks. He looks awesome though and hard not to root for him.

I'm afraid of Matt Patricia. Anderson's skill doesn't matter. What matters is how much a HC wants to ride his horse.

final draft of the season; will post some of my top owned players shortly:

12 man ppr from the 5 slot:

QB: Winston
RB: Chubb
RB: Damien
WR: Hopkins
WR: Thielen
TE: Howard
FLX: Godwin
FLX: Moore
DST: Ravens

BN: Lat Murray
BN: Penny
BN: Allison
BN: Anthony Miller
BN: Justice
BN: Justin Jackson
BN: Ogunbowale

pretty much as on brand of a draft as it gets for me this year. I was trying to not take anymore Dwill exposure but he fell to the 7th...couldn't resist. Full on TB stack FTW.

edit: I pretty much have to forfeit week 7 as well with my byes lol

What do we think of this trade? Standard scoring.

Team A receives: Amari Cooper and Duke Johnson
Team B receives: Gurley

Team A currently has DJax/Gallup as their WR3 and Fournette on their bench.

Any thoughts appreciated!

(I'll preface that I don't play any standard leagues or follow any standard rankings/projections)

in ppr I think this trade is pretty fair and I like getting Cooper/Duke by a bit...but in standard I prefer the Gurley side by a decent amount

Looks good, how can you hate on a team with DHop and Chubb?

I like the Latavius pick as insurance for Damien, and I love how before your final pick your thought was, "I just don't have enough Bucs yet."

Nice work!

yeah probably should have taken Mattison over Ogunbowale but might as well go all in.

Welp after CMC at #2, I ended up drafting Guice at #50 (seemed like a reach), Shady at #74, Darwin Thompson #122 and Ito Smith at #167.

Gonna need to find an RB2 somewhere in there or it's gonna be a short season. I still maintain that there's insane WR value late. I took Kittle in the 3rd and in hindsight I doubt it was smart. Guess we'll see.

Good luck all. So excited football is here.

Maybe too late, but search reddit for final BeerSheets, modify the settings for auction, and you'll get some prices to work with.

Was this a keeper league? How in the world did you get Chubb AND Hopkins in a 12 teamer? This team is great

I think those were the best RB and WR on the board, perhaps Penny is ahead of Freeman, but not by much. Could also argue that he should've made sure he got Kyler there, but he got him anyway. 10>>4 imo.

Spoiler:
Chubb/CMac/Carson obv a great RB core to build your team around (and you forgot to list Kittle on your team, which would make your team look a lot better of course).

Not a fan of taking Penny that high when you have Carson, would've gone with someone like Breida or McCoy if going RB.

Prefer ARob/DJ Moore to Golladay/Williams, but same tier so nbd.

Tate pick seems spewy, prefer Fitz there if WR, though I would go Kyler there. His ceiling is too high to pass on him in the double-digit rounds.

You pushed it a little too far on QB, even if you pass on Kyler, going with Jameis in 12 or Rivers in 13 would've been the spots given the benefit of hind sight. That being said, I'd much rather be late on qb than early, you should be able to stream your way through the season pretty easily/effectively.

Mostly just nitpicks, so all together should be a solid contender, nice job!

Thanks for the feedback. Yea certainly looks a lot better with Kittle lol. ARob was one of those guys I just wanted no part of. Had him last year and there were just way too many mouths in that Chicago offense.

I might try to offer Pollard for Kyler Murray to the Elliot owner. I took him right before he picked and he was pissed so he obv wants him. I kind of want to see Zeke show he wasnt eating tacos and drinking tequila in Mexico.

What's the logic on no Penny if I have Carson?

The only picks I'm not happy about are Gio and Hamilton but they're late so whatever. I heard the bell go off and thought it was my pick and called out Marquise Goodwin who the guy who I sniped Pollard then picked right before me probably out of spite. Lol love live drafts. Ballage prob isnt great either but I do love my starting lineup. Thanks again for the feedback

Man I wish I had that much OJ Howard! I have a top 6 TE in every league I'm in, but somehow only have each one once except for no Ertz shares and multiple Engram shares.

My most owned guys are Fournette, OBJ, DJ Moore, Josh Gordon, AJ Green, Duke Johnson, Austin Ekeler, Justice Hill, and formerly Tony Pollard

Yeah I get being scorned by ARob last year, but now he is another year away from the ACL tear, is still only 26, and last we saw him was absolutely dominant in the Bears playoff game. Certainly don't see many mouths to feed in the Chicago offense, he seems like he should clearly be far and away the top target to me.

That would be a great trade for you I think, and I'd strike now while there still is some uncertainty about Zeke that you can use in your favor.

Logic on Penny/Carson is that handcuffing your own guys is playing not to lose instead of playing to win. You are quite likely going to need some things to break your way in order to win your league, give yourself a chance to get lucky. You want to have handcuffs for other team's players so that your team can improve as opposed to just staying at a similar level. This is even more important if the handcuff is going to cost you a pick as high as a 7th rounder. You can't really ever start Carson and Penny in the same week. The reason Penny is going so high is that people think he could eat into Carson's workload even without injury (I don't think this is too likely fwiw), but if that happens and you have Carson, you could be kinda double screwed with 2 borderline startable guys.

Lol on the Goodwin story, but now you can use that against him next time and call out a dude you don't want in a key spot, so nice long con strat
