Yeah maybe. His average when they turned to him would have made him RB8-9 last year pro rated over an entire year. Not worried about Moss and Allen might not run as much at some point. A couple nasty hits to your franchise QB can change a teams game plan. Agree with you he doesn't have 2016 DJ upside but he's still a solid RB1. At least he performed like one second half of the year last year.

I think Singletary has RB1 potential. He may get there, he may not. He may not be a league winner, as very few players are. But he’ll also be way better than a RB2 punt.

Fantasy Pros has Singletary at RB24 and 60 overall. He will outperform that ranking by a lot. I’ll be interested to see his true ADP as we get closer to the season start.

Allen vulturing TDs is certainly a threat. He had 9 rushing TDs last year. I’m not worried about Moss.

the bills really like Moss, they were ready to trade up to secure him in the 3rd round. PFF had him ranked the #2 RB in the draft.

i'm not saying its likely he becomes the starter, but it is within the range of outcomes by season end, and its likely that he gets ~30% of the carries +RZ and more and more as the season progresses.

much rather have moss in the 11th round then singletary in the 5th

Yeah this is my concern with Singletary. Was all over him (my most owned best ball player) until they drafted moss and I’ve backed off

Interesting tweet: https://twitter.com/mafianumbers/sta...204726272?s=21

Bills gave a big share of carries to old ass Frank Gore. Why wouldn’t they give carries to Moss who they spent the same amount of draft capital on as Singletary?

The end of the season was definitely a lot better for Singletary which is a big plus, but just worried about share of carries, especially red zone

That image is a joke. Guys who got riddle with injuries are at the top. That's misleading.

Scarborough and Kerryon didn't split touches, Kerryon got hurt and was out for the year. He was crushing before that.

Same with Conner.

McCoy got hurt and old.

Melly held out.

Drake got traded. Plus Walton git arrested...again.

Kamara got hurt and stayed hurt.

Coleman and Bredia got hurt and took a backseat in the 3-man committee.

I don't think Moss is the player we need to worry about stealing touches from Singletary...it's Allen.

That said, Gore is old and slow. Singletary is a good player with good hands and agility. If he gets 70% of the RB touches, I'm in.

Sure for some teams it’s not very useful but we are talking about Singletary, not those guys.

It's very rare being special in the NFL. When I watch Singletary's tape I see special. That's why I'm not worried about Moss. Very unlikely he's special. If he is then we might have a problem but he has such a tough road to meaningful snaps this year as a rookie with basically no offseason camps. I would be shocked if he cut into Singletary's work load this year. It's certainly possible but unlikely and I'm buying Singletary with the thought that he'll get 70% of the snaps with all the 3rd down work and a slight uptick in redzone work.

It seems like an easy answer. Singletary was a rookie and then he got banged up. Once he came back it was all Singletary basically. They likely aren't throwing Moss out there a bunch in the beginning and Singletary should have plenty of time to establish his role even more. I think it's already established. They rode him to the playoffs.

The Bill's might really like Moss but they gushed about Singletary when they drafted him too and he hit. Plus it's more likely Moss is JAG than special. Well see in a couple months.....

Well I hope you guys are right cause I have a ton of him so far lol. I agree he’s super talented so we will see how the bills handle it next year

I'm with wolves, you've got to watch the kid play. It was maddening last year, similar to Chubb's rookie year, where the few times he got the ball in the 1st 8 games or so he made something happen. A lot of it was in screen plays. It was obvious he was the best back on the team and his vision and footwork jumped off the screen.
Probably will get TD vultured some but his ADP hopefully stays around 4th round with people worried about Moss.

Ok, I'll bring some anti-Singletary propaganda to the table. Here is a funny one.

And if being short, slow, and lacking athleticism isn't bad enough, this is the aspect that has me relatively down on him the most (same with Jacobs, just prefer to be leaning towards guys that have better chances to excel in the passing game).

Also, as noted in the comments of that tweet, the RB that had the highest yards per route run of all of the RB's in this draft class? You guessed it, Zack Moss.

He certainly did have some impressive runs last season though, can't deny that. And as far as receiving, he did only have something like 12 targets in his final college season (lol), so there is at least some hope for improvement on that front. Still would say it's probably more likely he finishes outside the top 20 than inside the top 10.

Le'Veon Bell - 4.60
Arian Foster - 4.69

Post draft could have been suspicious but the kid showed it his rookie year. He'll be productive but Moss is an issue. Was definitely deflated when they drafted Moss.

once i finish my rankings and such i'm down to do a 2p2 one on yahoo, the higher stake ones don't get much traffic so we could easily control the lobby and get 7-10 2p2 guys of the 10 slots if we agree on a time

I'm not super impressed with Sanders to this point though and I wasn't impressed with him coming out of Penn State. So I'm betting the Eagles sign a vet and Sanders gets 160-170 carries.
Wolvie you can't love Singletary, who is gonna be in an rbbc, and then hate Sanders for RBBC. Singletary is looking down the barrel of 50-50 for sure. They love Moss. And they have been gushing about it. Bills beat writers are all over the RBBC. And as others have said, there's 2 guys getting goaline before Singletary ever does. That is a tough path to RB1. He's a lock RB2 though.

Yeah we're splitting hairs so not worth arguing. I have Singletary ranked as a low end RB1.

Fwiw I hope all Wolves players do well.

1) It costs me nothing

2) In fact I gain, because the better his guys do, the more he posts

So bring on the Singletary and Reek TD's!

Now do speed score. Both of those guys have 6" and 25 pounds on Singletary.

He had a good rookie season, but that was just 150 carries, and just one variable that should be taken into consideration. If he is super successful with that athletic/size profile, it will be a large anomaly.

Also I know a lot of the data on this can be questionable at this point, but BUF projects to have the 4th hardest schedule for RBs this season.

Can't be that tough a schedule.
