Got both Higbee and Deandre Washington.

Had 171 FAAB left (of 300) and put:
151 on Higbee
51 on Thomas
51 on Washington dropping player X
19 on Washington dropping player Y

Got both Higbee and Washington. Other people spent 100 on a defense, etc. 7 total players bid on, but not one of them was bid on by two people, so lol FAAB.

our leagues first year of faab has been incredible

Winston obviously coming off huge game, but has the fractured bone he's playing through. Tanne been very good recently, but they could easily hand ball to henry 30 times. Have similar dilemmas as you. Winston or tannehill. Currently leaning tannehill with Winston injured and Evans out. Tannehill has been playing great and Houston is a bottom 5 pass d.

Also debating what to do with Connor if he plays. I also have snell, Deebo vs atl, and Michel vs bengals. Leaning toward starting Connor if he’s back but playing Deebo over snell if Conner is out. Non ppr leauge btw

Also debating playing slayton. I have Adams (chi) and cooper (Ramsey matchup?). Hard to bench either of them for slayton or Deebo

I'm debating between Kyler, Tannehill and Baker.

I went Baker over Tannehill last week, and luckily it didn't cost me. I'm leaning Kyler this week because I'm playing the #1 seed who is favored by quite a bit. I think Kyler's ceiling is likely higher than Tannehill. Baker has the best matchup, but I don't trust him even against the cardinals.

I think I'm going Landry over Lockett for my flex. Lockett has killed me lately.

Most places have Robbie Anderson comfortably ahead of both but BAL is so much better than Miami and Washington. Garbage points? I also have Ravens D if that matters at all

I'm sticking with Steelers D this week. Super low total, terrible weather. Pretty much better than any other option I could find off the wire.

Starting Lamar in 2, up against him in the 3rd.

i do think there is a lot of group think/herd mentality on tannehill this week, but he's clearly in a high EV spot and thats all we can control. Same bad voodoo argument can be made for Winston, Garopollo, Prescott, Rodgers (Qb's in the 5-10 range this week). In fact, Rafiki is voodooing himself into kyle allen over russell wilson this week

...So outside top 3 or 4, tannehill seems like no riskier a bet than any other qb

Not only is he in a high EV spot, but he's just been crushing since he took over the starting QB job.

Berry said in his love/hate that since week 7, Tannehill has been the second highest scoring QB on a per-game basis.

Not like people are advocating for an average QB in a good match up. Tannehill has been putting up numbers.

And....my matchup is over after Thursday night. Opponent has Lamar and Andrews. I was hoping the quad injury would limit Lamar a little. And there’s no reason he should’ve played at all in the 4th. Oh well.
