They were movable when I woke up this morning. Maybe they really did fix this PPD BS.

Are there any 3rd baseman that I could/should trade Vlad Guerrero Jr for? He gets called up tomorrow.

Kelley probably worth a spec pickup for the Texas closer role.

Yeah grabbed a couple of Kelleys last night and dropped my one LeClerc share. I don't see how they can keep letting him get destroyed.

first of all, weeeeeeee

secondly, who would you be looking to trade from these for a bat? and who would u be targeting for that specific guy?

Definitely Paddack if you can get a good offer, only 90 IP last year and already at 40, hasn't pitched over 100 IP since joining minors at 19 (2015).

What kind of league is it? Roto, H2H or points? I have been trying to move my one Paddock share for a closer with no luck so far. If I can't get a closer which would be useful on the team in question (just lost Strop) I would rather keep him since I don't need bats and prefer his starts to anyone elses at this point. 140-150 innings is awesome in roto since most guys suck or get hurt anyway.

If you need a bat I would try to flip him for an underperformer like Vlad Jr. or Puig. More savvy guys might balk at his ultimate innings limit but more casual types may be more than willing to pay up since he has been so valuable so far.

Another thing I have found for successful trading is to not only look at what you want but what the other guys needs and what he can comfortably part with. Look at teams that have excess hitting and need pitching. Trades that serve both sides needs/wants are usually easier to pull off.

Don't be the idiot that packages 3 guys they want to drop anyway for one stud player. The other day some moron wanted my Stanton, Cole and Vasquez who I took 2,3 and 7 for Hoskins and 2 bums he picked up on waivers. Don't be that guy!

My season-long roto league works off GS limit (200) rather than IP. Currently all-in on long relievers: Pena, Beeks, Chirinos.

So... Mondesi in the 4th round proved a steal.

Current ranking = 7

Yeah that team is just stupid good. Currently sitting at 112 points in roto out of a possible 120. Nobody is close, especially in the 5 offense categories. I have seemingly insurmountable leads in all 5 but average. But it is way too early to do any victory dances but that team is by far my strongest of the 7 I am playing although all 7 are doing exceptionally well.

I did drop Meadows preseason for Blake Parker and that move actually has worked real well. Also picked up Holland pre season and Rodgers/Neris early and at the end of April traded Santana for Colombe. So even though I blew closers in the draft I am comfortably crushing that cat mostly due to Yates and timely pickups. About a week ago I also traded Anderson for Abreu since I figure he will outperform Anderson except in SBs rest of the way.

Missed on the first 4 picks? Mondesi lol in the 4th?

No problem. I have 4 Mondesi shares and it is working (so far!) better than expected. Could still blow up but at least in roto what he has already given can't be taken back. It's still real early but positive patterns are emerging. Most surprising about him is the big RBI number.

Rowdy Tellez is criminally underowned. He's basically Franmil Reyes. Dude will hurt you in BA but he's 30HR sitting on your wire, if he's still there. Go get him.

I like Tellez and have played him here and there in DFS but 30 HRs isn't what it once was with this juiced ball. There are probably 100 guys on pace for 30 bombs. HRs are the easiest commodity to find this year in fantasy. But as always it depends on league type, competition and team need.

True that 30HR isn't what it was 5 years ago (he's on pace for ~34 in a full season), but if he got to that mark batting .250 he would be a pretty highly drafted player. Much more than 2% owned.
