owned miller twice in last three years... I'm with you. he will decline steadily with 1 start worthy game

Foreman is the best runner but they trust Blue more to block on 3rd down, and he gets carries too

I also agree about elevating the Philly guys, but you're right, they're a flip from week to week

I am in the *exact* same boat as you and I'm leaning towards Smallwood and... ? and that's a big maybe, they're gonna trade for somebody

I kinda agree with wheat, in general I'm not sure any of the guys on the wire are worth it right now. waiting for clarity (injury) seems reasonable.

I'd take whichever Houston back got more redzone looks last year between Foreman and Blue as my #2

Yup. 10 team PPR league, I have Ajayi and the Denver defense. Both are drops right now, as I also have the jags defense. My order of pick ups in FAAB bidding $0 on everyone is:

AlfMo
Gostkowski (I have Lutz)
Smallwood
Clement
Blue
Davis
Mack

Just letting the chips fall where they may. Don’t think any of those guys are worth the FAAB bid.

Does Charles go straight into the conversation as a Flex option now the Jags have picked him up? Would you stick him in over a Mike Davis or Buck Allen?

Charles is a super fringe play at best. I bet he'd cut within a couple games.

Only way Charles could be valuable this year is if Fournette is out for the year. Which there is a slim chance of but it's possible.

I Agree with this but I picked him up just cause you never know

I didn't even know Charles was still in the NFL. Gonna be 32 this season. Gives me some respect for what AP and Lynch are doing.

12 team $200 FAAB. Here is what some players went for.

Clement: $120
Smallwood: $60
Mike Davis: $35
Packers DST: $11

In 12 team 17 man roster PPR rank these QBs this week and ROS. Would love to grab Jameis in a shootout against the awful ATL D but can’t see dropping the other 2 or rostering a 3rd QB (even for a week). Thoughts? WHIR.

Watson vs BUF
Rivers @ CLE
Winston @ ATL

Thanks!

Clement went for $50 in my 10 team $300 FAAB league. Smallwood went for $0.

I think all of them are overpays. That Eagles back field is going to be unpredictable, especially once Sproles is back in the mix.

I guess Clement is the best to have due to the touches he should receive rushing the ball, but who knows?

Watching the Jets game Quincy could have had 2 TD catches but Darnold missed him. So meh. Def a bad game when you have no catches. I didn't hear anything about him having a cast on his hand until after the game. I know lol water.

Also Baker Mayfield has been close to having a Mahomes type blow up game. He's a star in the making.

Defensive Rankings against the pass would have Rivers over Watson but from what I've seen recently the CLE secondary has really stepped it up, so I'd put Watson #1 at home vs BUF, then Rivers, then Winston. Fitzmagic would have torn them apart...

Thanks for the QB suggestions guys, confirmed my suspicion that I should leave Winston alone for now. Really need some RB help next week w/ Conner on bye and in general ROS:

QB Deshaun Watson (DAL)
WR Julio Jones (ATL)
WR Keenan Allen (LAC)
RB Yeldon (JAX)
RB Buck Allen (BAL)
W/R/T Brandin Cooks (LAR)
TE Zach Ertz (PHI)
K Justin Tucker (BAL)
DST Tennessee
D Khalil Mack (CHI)

BENCH QB Rivers (LAC)
BENCH WR Lockett (SEA)
BENCH WR John Brown (BAL)
BENCH WR Ridley (ATL)
BENCH RB Conner
BENCH DST Greenbay
Open bench Spot

12 Team full PPR

This is who is available and their week 7 opponent but, again, I am just as interested in ROS value:

Mike Davis (SEA) BYE
Smallwood (PHI) vs Carolina
Ronald Jones (TB) vs Cleveland
Blue/Foreman (HOU) @ JAX

I could also grab 2 RBs (drop TEN?) with intention of dropping one soon if they become less relevant.

Last edited by *seeker*; 10-10-2018 at 12:13 PM. Reason: Greenbay is on a bye next week and I would stream a DEF; ignoring WR like Coutee for the moment since i am WR strong

Definitely drop a D and pick up 2 of those guys. For ROS I'd rank them Foreman/Jones/Davis/Smallwood/Blue, but those top two guys obv have a floor of absolutely nothing, so if you don't have the luxury of risking that, then I can see having Davis and Smallwood ahead of them.

What you should really be doing is trying use your WR depth to get a RB upgrade. If you can trade a QB too, then even better, but it's usually pretty hard to move a qb for much of anything in single qb leagues.

I have a guy in my league rostering two kickers because he wants to keep Zuerlein.

Players like Smallwood, Rogers, Coutee available.

Others keeping one of their IDPs during bye weeks.

12 team 3 IDP league: 41 players owned, so 5 people are keeping an extra DP on a shallow bench.

This includes someone rostering Joey Bosa. Not surprisingly, that guy also has an empty bench slot as well.

I also haven't won this league in the 10 years I've played in it, so LOL me.

There seems to be value in having an empty bench spot. The rest of your team can stretch out a little.

What kind of trade value does he have now?

Not sure, I traded him last week in a YPL with a couple of my bench WR's (Sanders and Woods) for AB, but his value prob got worse since then if people weren't already expecting him to be out through the bye. I made a couple low ball offers for him in different leagues earlier this week (Watkins/Lamar Miller, Sanders/Miller) but got rejected in both.

Maybe something like Kerryon Johnson or James White for RBs, or a WR3 level guy (something like the Broncos guys even though that didn't work for me before this news).
