It's a little tough to be definite, not knowing what everyone else is keeping, but Tyreek seems like the right choice to me.

Randed #2 in one of my redrafts this year. Tough problem to have, choosing between DJ, Zeke, Bell. Think I'd rank them in that order.

Likely available RBs (one of which will have to start for me):

Mixon
Guisse
Collins
Penny
Henry
Ingram
Miller

Likely available WRs (will need 2 to start)

Aron
Jarvis
Landry
Cooks
Jones
Crabtree
Davis
Garcon
Crowder

I feel like having a decent RB2 here might be important...

I like Mixon more than McKinnon. Also, the drop off from McKinnon to Collins and Henry doesn't seem like a lot. I may be too pessimistic about McKinnon?

Probably will get some clarity as the pre-season moves along. If he's a 3 down back for SF, and catches passes at some similar rate as on the Vikings, then I think its a no-brainer.

Just had first live draft (way early, I know). 12 team, QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/WR/TE/FLX. PPR, 6 point per
pass TD. Had the 9 spot. Strategy was to load up on wideouts and punt RB.

QB: Brady
RB: Guice, Hyde, C Thompson, Gio, Latavius
WR: Beckham, M. Thomas, Tyreek, Amari, C. Godwin, Decker, Moncrief
TE: Engram, Njoku
DEF: Denver

I think I like it, not sure.

Don't like having Thompson + Guice (one or the other is fine, hate having both) and I don't want any part of that Cleveland RB dumpster fire, even if you can them 2-3 rounds below ADP. That said, you're (seemingly) killing it everywhere else (by design), so .

Latavius and Gio are 2 of my most owned players in PPR best balls, so for them.

Otherwise, looks pretty solid to me (but maybe it's time for a separate draft thread, as these sort of things aren't too useful to evaluate without seeing the whole board.)

I don't hate it, I think it's tough this year to not pick a RB in rd 1 or 2, but I think you pulled off that strat pretty well, and this format seems to lend itself towards making that strat more acceptable.

I assume Brady was a likely a poor pick (imo). How early did you take him and what RB's did you pass on for him?

Also probably would've taken more lottery ticket rb's like Brieda or Hines or Kelly or Ekeler or Prosise or whoever instead of stocking up on 3 bench WR when you already have 4 studs there.

Last round keeper choice

Alex Smith, Paul Richardson, Cameron Meredith, Spencer Ware or none of the above. I picked up both Ware and Meredith late last season just to see what happens in the preseason.

Also

AB in round 1 or Hopkins in round 2. Draft order has not been determined yet. I have the 7th choice of where I can draft

Sight lean Richardson but could easily go “no keeper” there.

Are you guaranteed Hopkins round 2 if that’s what you choose? (How so)? If so, that’s much better than Antonio in r1, given how close Antonio and Hopkins are in value.

I'm thinking Meredith with Richardson a close 2nd up top.

As for the real question, I think the draft slot matters most here, but I don't know what comes first (keepers or draft slot).

-If you choose an early slot, keep Hopkins and hope to get AB.
-If you choose a late slot, keep AB and snag the player who complements him in your lineup in the 2nd round.

-If you keep AB, choose the latest slot available.
-If you keep Hopkins, choose the earliest slot available.

Edit: I think you should just do the Antonio Brown thing.

Went Beckham first, then 10-15 were all RB. Was gonna go with one if they fell.

Engram was 5th. Brady was in 6th. Maybe a reach but RBs were all gone by Engram pick. Figured just go BAP.

ok I'm looking at keeping one of these in PPR. I think I know which way everyone is gonna go today. Funny enough when I asked this a few months back the answer was different:

Hunt with the 13th pick
D Watson with an 8th
Evan Engram with an 8th

Everyone's gonna go Engram now, right?

Spoiler:
Just go with it brother.
Spoiler:
Don't fight it

If it makes you feel better. Check out week 4 of last year. ODB had 15 targets so there probably wasn't any meat left on the bone for Engram right?

I mean even with an 8th it's not a huge loss to get it wrong. He can't be worse than 6th round value.

Hunt with the 13th pick is whatever. tiny bit of value, not much.

if I keep Engram my core is gonna be:

Kamara/Howard
Engram
Hilton

if I keep Hunt my core is gonna be:

Kamara/Hunt
Gronk
Hilton

Give or take based on current keeper's the others are gonna do

That's tough because Howard is a huge value this year but so is Gronk.

Gronk way more valuable than Engram, I'm high on Howard and low on Hunt and even then have Hunt ahead in PPR. If that's close to certainly going to be the core it seems like a no brainer

In general I agree. For this year Gronk is close to a top 5 asset in PPR.

In both cases for Gronk/Howard I'm drafting them 1.12 and 1.13 to make that happens. It's almost sure they're the 2 available based on the guys out there.

So again Engram with 8th or Gronk with 1.12, seems sort of dumb to take Gronk there.

Guice tore his ACL

Upgrade Perine a bunch I guess.

Pretty sure Perine's better than Guice anyway. They aren't losing much at least.

I drafted AB in the 1st and I traded for Hopkins, who was drafted in the 3rd. The draft order is decided before keepers. My RBs were awful and I finished 6th last year so I will have the 7th choice on where I’m drafting. If I can land a top 3 pick I will probably keep Hopkins as I know AB, OBJ and Barkley will all be available. The rest of them are still up in the air.

In a keeper league where we get to keep 3 guys, don't give up draft picks for the keepers. ESPN .5 PPR league. My options:

Tom Brady
Deshawn Watson

Leonard Fournette
Devonta Freeman

Devante Adams
Doug Baldwin
JuJu Smith-Shuster

Rob Gronkowski

Who would you keep?

Gronk, Fournette, Devante Adams.

I think that's not close either. Unless you say it's 2QB

Yeah agreed.

I think you should keep gronk to rafiki. He's a potential league winner this year.
