Freeman has a direct shot at RB1 if Lindsay gets hurt. I like that upside. Burkhead easy drop.

My 0-2 standard team started Crowell and Hyde this week (over Collins, Stills, Cobb). My butt is definitely less tight right now.

Rank these QB's.

Goff @ LAR

Smith @ GB

Tannehill @ OAK

Bortles @ TENN

Prescott @ SEA

Dalton @ CAR

I also have Rivers @ LAR, but I don't think I want to start him.

I'm planning to put Baldwin on IR when he is inevitably listed as O on Sunday, and then pick up one of the QB's above.

I'm leaning Goff, but I was curious as to other people's opinions.

Goff then Smith then Rivers for me but it's close enough that if you can fill that roster spot with something worthwhile then it might be worth it to just roll with Rivers.

I'm very torn bt Goff and Rivers. Very slightly leaning Rivers at the moment due to the Rams loving Gurley so much in the red zone.

This is an annoyance in my decision-making for sure. I definitely considered the Gurley factor with Goff, but still came back to thinking Goff was the best play.

The LAR were SUPPOSED to have a good defense this year. And they still can. But they are giving up the 9th most points to QBs so far. Granted Mahomes had 31 and Allen had 12.

Ugh. I should have bid more on Fitzpatrick, but I didn't care to spend a bunch of FAAB for a one week start.

I like Dalton. He's been good so far this year and Matt Ryan just put up good numbers against Carolina.

Yeah, but I'm a Panthers fan, and it blinds me.

Meh, I prob grab Goff then. Njoku is prob worth a pickup with Baker playing, but I assume it's too late for that. Penny might be worth it, but I purposely faded Seattle guys all draft season (with the exception of Lockett), and I do not feel compelled to change that strat at this point.

That's how I felt. The waivers were cleaned up on Wednesday. I'd take a flyer on someone if I didn't need a QB, but I think the open roster spot is worth a QB with a better match up than Rivers.

I guess I'll make my final decision on Sunday morning.

Definitely too late on Njoku, but with Ertz, I have no interest in rostering a second TE. I have no interest in Penny. Baldwin is enough of a Seahawks share.

Does he have Gordon fever? Could try Gordon, Djoku and anyone other than AJ, Howard, Conner/Bell for Landry and Kittle.

I hope Djoku pays off but he didn’t get many looks from Mayfield.

Goff and Goff.

Mayfield is awesome but he doesn't have the weapons or the coach. Goff is a legit threat every year to be the #1 QB in FF the next 10 years.

Dalvin Cook out this week.

Also Jack Doyle, not that you should have been starting him. Makes Ebron a stronger start? Picked him up in one league for my never ending optimism in ASJ.

Ok I'm here to talk Trubisky. I don't like what I see but there's a lot of things going on. It's not all Trubisky.

First the bad.

2 picks by Trubisky and he missed Taylor Gabriel wide open. One pick is on Trubisky but Robinson did not adjust to that poor throw at all. Still bad throw. The second pick was a tipped pass. Meh whatever. The missed throw to Taylor Gabriel is throw he has to make.

The good.

The throw to Cohen outside the pocket was perfect. Amazingly difficult throw. Placed perfect. He also had a moment where he went 10-12 in the second half when things were getting closer. The TD throw was nice.

Not a lot of guys running open down the field. Trubisky needs to make some easy check down passes when things downfield aren't open. Get those easy 3-4 yards. A-Rob doesn't look great. Burton being used poorly. Cohen being ignored. Howard looks fantastic. Defense looks awesome.

Verdict. Trubisky is a year away. This D is going to make the team stay conservative. I'm not dumping him in dynasty long term but its safe to ignore him in redraft.

Before you laugh remember how bad Goff looked before he finally got it. 23 TDs and 4 picks later in his last 11 games he's one of the best young QB's in the league.

Adam Thielen is a top 3ish WR in the NFL. Maybe the best route runner in the NFL. Sticky hands. Cousins trusts him and loves him.

He's still undervalued because of his pedigree. He was undrafted. How could the NFL be so wrong? They were. He's a stud. Like trade Julio for Thielen + something you like. Thielen might outscore Julio by himself.

Idk about Goff being all that great in real life. I think that offense makes me him seem a lot better than he actuall is, and is what will keep him fantasy relevant.
I admittedly haven't seen a ton of Rams games, but in the ones Ive watched he misses quite a few easy throws every game. And I think all those dump offs that Gurley takes for a TD help pad his stats quite a bit. Last year I believe they accounted for 6 of his 28 TD throws.

You will believe at some point. He's a wizard. Top 5 QB in this league. If it is McVay that makes him let me ask you this: Where is McVay and Goff going the next 5 years? Where is Gurley going?

All in on Goff.
