I have an open offer for my Freeman for his Bell. IDK, something about going into the playoffs with a team with DJ and Bell just seems too cool to pass up. I'm not super high on Freeman but it felt wrong not to take him towards the end of the 2nd.

Anyone you'd drop to try to pick up Yeldon/Lindsay/maybe Geronimo? PPR, superflex, 3WR/2RB/1flex:

QB: Russel, Dak, Trubisky
WR: M. Thomas, Julio, Cooks, Alshon, Lockett
RB: Drake, D. Henry, Carson, Barber, Duke Johnson
TE/K/D: Burton/Prater/Chargers

Obviously looking for help at RB, none of them looked very good week 1...

Cooks routes last night.

He's a top 10 WR on this team if he's used like this consistently imo. I'd trade for him in dynasty. Maybe his current owner thinks he's selling high. He's playing with an elite young QB and the best offensive minded coach in the NFL.

How you guys rank these in standard the rest of the way:

Kenny Stills, Kenny Golladay, Enunwa, Godwin, Pettis

I'm thinking that order give or take (best to worst). Curious if you guys see it different. Seems like the X receivers in standard are way better. I don't play a lot of standard, first year.

Need to replace Olsen. Would you trade Cobb for Kittles?

12 team, non-PPR, 2 WR league- other WRs are K. Allen, D. Thomas, R. Woods, Watkins, and J. Brown.

Other option is grab someone from waivers - top options are Cook, Ebron, ASJ, and RSJ (although likely to lose Cook to higher waiver claim)

Don't trade Cobb.

Watkins if the guy will do it. Woods likely leads the rams in targets this year.

I’m in big time on Kittle and def think you should be trying your best to get him. He could’ve easily went for like 150+ and a td, and seemed like Jimmy G’s main guy by far (though given Goodwin was out). Dude could be a top 5 TE this year pretty easily imo.

I agree to preferring to give up Watkins, but in a 2 wr league I’m fine with giving up either Woods or Cobb as well, even though they both had really encouraging week 1’s. Woods showed less number wise but just missed a couple big plays and seemed to be the main downfield target for the Rams.

im torn on what to bid on lindsay. 14 team .5ppr

not a need for my team at this time. BUT we have 14 teams and 17 roster spots so free agency is usually dry and its always nice to pick up a real asset for trades or upside

what % of faab would you go? im debating between a light stab around 15-16 or more like 25-30% leaning 25-30%

Yup. I think I’m going to drop Burton for Kittle. Cook, Watson, and Doyle are also all available.

Geez. That’s a shallow league. 14 teams with 17 bench spots sounds brutal.

I guess if you a believe in Lindsay continuing to split carries while also getting most of the passing down work, it’s worth 25-30%. But without an injury to Royce, Lindsay won’t be getting all of the work.

Might be worth saving your FAAB for when injuries happen to top guys. There weren’t any big injuries in week one. Although, I guess a lot of hand cuffs might be rostered if it’s a 14 team league.

Doing a guillotine league where one team gets eliminated each week and all their players get dropped to free agency. This week includes Todd Gurley and TY Hilton. We get a $300 faab for the whole year. Never done one of these before, what's the optimal bid for Gurley?

How good is your team? And how crappy are the other teams. It seems like in this league you should be able to pretty well see who is going to get cut every time around.

If you've got two solid RBs then probably pass, but only if theres a weak team out there with Hill/ ODB/ Michael Thomas/ AB. It's an interesting game theory puzzle the more I think about it.

Weakest position is RB. The league is deep (17 teams) but I'm starting Fournette and Chris Carson. Top two receivers are Green and Hogan. The more I think about it the more I'm leaning towards going hard after Gurley. I'm screwed if Fournette doesn't play.

How do you not drop your entire budget on Gurley?

2+2 leagues are sharp. A lot of the popular WW/FAAB are already rostered. Nice!

300/300 on Gurley IMO.

If you only have to avoid last place then not getting Gurley may be optimal provided your team isnt one of the bottom teams

I would definitely go hard. Gurley/Fournette is a RB combo that can take you pretty far without more. And then once you make it far enough there will be top players to be had for pretty cheap.

I might save a few dollars, but I'd bid close to the max.

What are the payouts? I'd be inclined to go big on Gurley.

The more I think about it the more I say pass on Gurley. You have to assume that there are some trash teams who were about to be eliminated and just got by. These teams will spend everything on gurley just to stay alive.

I'd imagine that Gurley is going to keep appearing on the list of players available as he will almost always be a part of the worst team/ next eliminated.

I think this makes the N+1 player, Hilton or whoever the logical choice.

Please poke holes in my logic.

I'm going back and forth but this is what I'm leaning towards now. One bad week can always happen but as is I think my team can survive for a while without much of an issue. Having $'s left a few weeks from now will be a lot more valuable than blowing it all on Gurley week 1. Thinking $250 on Gurley but have to assume that won't be enough. Then somewhere in the $40 range for Hilton.

I'm going to put a name out there that I think is super undervalued right now. I'm not in love with this guys talent but I do think he's solid and as we've all learned opportunity especially for RB (see Melvin Gordon) is more important than talent.

Spoiler:
Marlon Mack

He was the starting RB to begin the season.

A. They love him.
B. Go look at what the guys behind him did.
C. If he had played Indy likely wins last week. Their RB were dreadful this weekend.
D. 3 down potential
E. He should be cheap to acquire......maybe even free on the WW.

Spoiler:
Go get him before the game this weekend.
Spoiler:
Thank me later
Spoiler:
YW

Spoiler:
Love Water
