OK, I think he was above that level before tonight though, and he goes up a couple spots with Darnold's good game

the lions looked absolutely awful tonight, let's not overhype any jets just quite yet

Yeah, not rushing to crown any NYJ player. Team is still a dumpster, they just got handed one by the Lions is all.

Yeah agreed. Darnold is bad imo but the jets should be down a lot and playing against a lot of soft zones where they just give Darnold those short passes. Quincy should do well in those situations.

So is Golladay gonna crush Marvin Jones' value?

What % of your FAAB budget would you use on Kittle if you don't have anything at tight end?

Got a stacked team to the gills in every position except my TE is Greg Olsen. Worth blowing a #1 WW pick on Jared Cook? Other TEs available include Dissly, Eric Ebron, Ben Watson. I could always hold the pick and pray no one takes Ebron, since Jared Cook will of course be taken by someone on the waivers.

I'd probably just go for Ebron. Doubt he gets grabbed off waivers as he didn't do enough week 1 to make him a must add, and I'd assume other than teams with Olsen and Walker, most teams aren't looking to add a TE.

Don't think Cook is good enough to use the #1 WW pick this early.

I was offered Fournette and Corey Davis for my AJ Green and Lamar Miller. Thoughts?

My team (PPR, 3 WR / 2 RB / FLEX):
AJ Green
Sanders
Kupp
Shepard
Mike Williams
Geronimo Allison
Danny Amendola
Kamara
Lamar Miller
Tarik Cohen
Gio Bernard
Breida

I think it's a fair trade but not sure how to rate Davis ROS with Mariota situation and this would leave me without a true WR1 in a 3 WR league.

What if we used 1 thread all year for the waiver wire discussion? Some interesting choices this week

If we take waivers out of this thread, what will we talk about in here?

We've never done waivers in here to my recollection.

Bears or Texans D the rest of the way?

Kind of hate the Bears early bye, and their playoff schedule is awful. Texans open the season with so many juicy matchups

Probably Bears I think.

Only defenses worth hanging onto through byes are Jags, Rams, Vikings and Ravens imo. Maybe Eagles and Broncos.

Would you give up someone like Devonta Freeman to get Lev Bell in a PPR league? I'm in one of these super leagues with like 96 teams so the prospect of having Lev Bell + DJ if I make the playoffs seems really good since I can win like 25x my buyin. Alternatively i was thinking Ingram. Any ideas? Lev Bell owner said he wants to get rid of Bell so i'm looking for options

What are thoughts on Phillip Lindsay? What's the highest wire position you're using on him?

I need someone to replace Bell for the near future (hopefully near).

Both my leagues this year are using waiver instead of FAAB and it's so tilting. I'm like waiver 10 so i'm just throwing out darts at a bunch of people who did decent, Lindsay is my #1 in both leagues. Also trying to get Ginn

I'd use the #1 on him. He could be a feature back in a decent offense (even if O-line not great), also looks to be a decent pass catcher. Sure he could drop back to obscurity, but I think it's worth the dice roll.

edit - this is for a 12 team league, where most of the top back-up RBs are already taken. Not as sure about 10 team leagues.

You can still plan for success, i.e. draft the good defenses and play the right matchups. Nothing is a guarantee but I'd bet on the four defenses I listed as being top 12 units by end of year, barring some ridiculous injuries.

I wouldn't give up a player of Freeman's pedigree for Bell at this point. I'd snap ship off Bell for a Freeman, Howard, Cook type back. In a heartbeat.
