Yeah I got some guys in my top 10 that most people would put in the top 20. I'm ok with that.

I got a couple sleeper picks too but i can't share them until our drafts are over. Not sure if anybody even likes grabbing guys i mention but I'll put a list out of guys I like late in drafts as soon as those drafts are over or my guys are picked up.

One guy I can talk about is Jared Goff. I own him in one league and have no chance at him in the other.

Goff, who isn't even 24 years old yet, threw for over 2000 yards,19 TD, 3 INTs his last 8 regular season games last year. With four 300 yard games. Sean McVay is the best offensive coach in football right now. I believe he's an ascending player. Paired with McVay/Gurley/Cooks he should be the #1 QB in dynasty this time next year. He's currently #9 in FBG dynasty rankings. Buy buy buy.

In seriousness, I like your lists

In fun, I love your lists and making prop bets with you and freerolling the year in a league with you

In all seriousness dump all your picks. This rookie class sucks. I mean offer 1.02 + 1.10 for 1.01 and I would even add next years 1st if needed. It's all about Barkley and 1.02 - 1.12 is a crap shoot.

Already entered 21 MFL10s. Did 30 last year, might push for ~40 this year, but I'd like to have them all wrapped up by the start of preseason.

If only all drafts could have villains that drafted like the guy in 1.06 here:

well, the team that i built that has gurley/saquon/julio/alshon i feel good about.

the team i inherited and you already had DJ/bell (and admittedly, didnt do great things with) is pretty awful. so im doing my best!

cant wait for the prop bets, man i miss football

Heck yeah. Saquon/Gurley is a nice RB tandem. You'll make the playoffs if Gurley stays healthy. That offense is to good.

I was such a huge believer in Lockett's talent before his rookie season. Then the last 10 games of his rookie season he looked a little like Antonio Brown on the field and started to flash.

5-79-1
3-36-0
1-7-0
4-48-2
3-38-0
7-90-0
6-104-2
5-55-1
3-33-0
2-36-0

Graham and Richardson and their 175 targets are gone. I think it's safe to say he is going to get more than 71 targets this year. Yes they are going to throw to Dickson and Baldwin is likely to lead the team in targets but I do see a scenario where Lockett takes over as the #1 WR and leads the team in targets. Baldwin and Wilson have a great connection that I've underestimated in the past but I believe in Lockett's talent pre injury.

The long TD is a broken play and doesn't tell us much but the contested catches and bubble screens are beautiful.

Lines up in the slot and outside. Makes a great catch and takes a huge shot but hangs on.

The move at the line is amazing. The speed and catch is insane good.

If he's fully back, which is a big if, I see Lockett's ceiling at 135 targets- Mid range is 105- low end 90.

Career catch rate is 66%
13.3 ypc
.19 TD's a game but I'm going to give that a healthy bump to .39 Td's a game with Graham gone and no other WR really on the roster besides Baldwin.

Ceiling

89-1183-6

243 points in PPR or WR9 last year

Average

69-920-6

197 points or WR20

Floor

59-790-6

174 points or WR29

Seattle didn't bring anybody else in really. Why?

IMO Lockett is going to get a chance to show what he can do. He's their best play maker as far as I can tell. I'm not all in on this guy at this point but the more I look at it the more I see a potential breakout.

Getting in to the thread.

Keeper League question. Half point PPR, Im defending champ and am picking out of the 9 or 10 hole (12 teams)

18 rounds QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/FLEX/TE/K/DST nine bench players. Can keep for two rounds earlier than drafted and 15th round for undrafteds.

Kareem Hunt is a lock in the 7th round. Allowed to keep two more.

Jamaal Williams for a 12th (adp mid 8th)
Jags D/ST for a 15th (adp mid 8th, #1 overall D/ST)
Trey Burton for a 15th (adp late 7th, TE #9)

Which way would you lean? Aaron Jones injury has me wanting to keep Jamaal at the slightly earlier cost.

Im leaning dumping Burton and possibly just taking Gronkowski in Round 2 if still around (about 6 first rounders are being kept for later picks).

Thoughts? I can also keep the Rams basically for free if you think Rams > Jags

Got any other options?

Also, Jones is suspended, not hurt.

If those are my only 3 options I keep williams and it isn't close for me.

Only 3 relevant. Buck Allen is also in mix but not close. I basically rode Gronky, Michael Thomas and Bell to victory last year.

Can elect to not keep if preferred.

Not keeping someone is the worst of the 4 options you have said, IMO.

Why can't you keep any of them? Or can you?

If those are your best options, then keep Jags and Trey B. I know lol-defense but that’s still great value. (I just double checked FFC ADP because I didn’t believe you - yup, mid 8th, but that’s ridiculous. Theyre going in late 10th for MFL10s, fwiw).

Better than not keeping anyone.

Keep at two rounds earlier cost. Cant keep first or second rounders.

Bell and Gronk were my first two picks and Thomas was a trade.

And yeah all are clearly +EV keeps but the answer is which is the most +EV.

Will monitor all 3 pretty closely.

Burton/Jags pretty easily for me. I guess if you can wait awhile before locking in and it becomes apparent that Williams will carry the load in GB, then you can keep him over Jags, but I don’t think that’s gonna happen and I do think the Jags are in a tier of their own (though huge lol at round 8).

To anyone who thinks he should keep the jags,

You need to start a spreadsheet on what your avg. defensive score is and compare that number to the top 10 defenses as well as the top 3 defenses drafted in your leagues. I have only been doing that for 3 years over 4-5 leagues so I have a small sample size, but unless something drastic changes from the last 3 years it is crazy to think about the jags in this spot.

Love,
mick

I'd do a friendly bet of say $20 to the charity of choice for the winner if we can make a reasonable bet.

Interested to see what people's thoughts are on non-Saquon rookie RBs in redraft leagues, there seem to be quite a few bunched together in the low RB2/flex bracket but not watching any college I don't know a great deal about how they play or how good a fit they may potentially be at the pro level
