But at this point of the year if I have Hunt, Gurley, or Gordon Im sure as **** rostering Ware/Brown/Ekeler if at all possible.
I mean if you're considering playing that end of the bench 5th WR or 4th RB this late in the year then your season is probably over anyway.

Take out the 'A' and you're on to something...and that's coming from someone who usually think player pun team names are the WOAT

Yep. Hope the 0 in "br0" adequately conveyed the tongue in cheek nature of my post. Regardless it got out a good post- one of those little things that makes a good fantasy player.

Would it be crazy in dynasty to offer someone such as Jordan Howard for Ware?

Ware will be 28 next season and coming off a bad injury. While I think he's good for this season. I don't know much about his long term viability. Wouldn't be shocked if KC drafts another dynamic RB in the draft in the offseason. If you want to win now it might make sense. Long term, you're likely overpaying. Hunt will only be 24 next season.

Did some research, Ware is also on the last year of his deal. So I’d think about this deal a little bit before executing on it.

100% agree. Early in the season, we probably don't know who they handcuff is. Later in the season, when we've seen the team play 10 games, we have a better idea of who will get the ball.

Edit: My pony is slower than a guy waking up today to try to add Spencer Ware.

So Alex Collins ends a pretty disappointing and frustrating year overall. It always felt to me watching Baltimore that he was deserving of more opportunity. I traded most of my shares in him away after his two TD game against Tennessee, and he was difficult to own. You could never really drop him but you never felt good starting him. I'd be surprised if he's back with Baltimore next year.

I've been saying it to anyone who will listen that Collins was closer to being out of the NFL than a starting RB.

In 63 best ball drafts, I own 1 Alex Collins (just in case I was wrong).

Remember where he was before Baltimore. He got cut from the RB thin Seattle team post-Marshawn Lynch.

You know you're bad when...

What do you think could make a tempting overpay offer for Lindsay and Ware from AJ, Landry, Gronk, Godwin, Tevin, J Howard, Ito, David Moore? All those players are pretty expendable for me. We’re both playoff teams and I think he would need a rb in the offer because only has Kerryon, Ekeler, Henry and Dixon otherwise.

Why in the world would he trade his two best RB if he's that thin at RB?
You said he's a playoff team, so given that group of RBs, I imagine hes decently strong at WR already

Eh, he's got Hop and Woods. Then he's got Sanders and Reynolds who could contribute in this postseason but their future is uncertain. Same can be said for Marvin Jones on his IR, and he has Pettis as a prospect. As to why, well I guess that's where the overpay comes in. He's getting into the playoffs as the 5th or 6th team, so might want to cash in on the Ware lottery ticket to set himself up more long term, but Ware and Ekeler both hitting definitely puts him in the championship mix.

Need some trade advice. 2rb/2wr/1 flex starting lineup. PPR league.

I have

DJ, Chubb, Mixon, Michel, Ware
Reek, Diggs, Baldwin, Fitzgerald, Reynolds

I’ve been offered AB for Michel, Ware and Fitz. He is thin at RB with Gordon injured.

I have to take that, right?

Yes. Basically about starting AB or whichever of DJ/Chub/Michel/Ware you’d put in flex.

Yup, that’s how I feel. And even if one of my top 3 RBs or top 3 receivers get injured, I still have another flex fill in.

Plus, with Burkhead coming back, who knows how that will affect Michel? And you’d like to think Ware takes over full back duties with KC, but you really don’t know. He didn’t see the field much with Hunt there, so I’m not going to expect Hunt level production.

AB has a good looking playoff sked too. I have him in all three leagues.

How about an offer of AJ or Landry with Howard and Gronk for Lindsay, Ware, Pettis and 2.08?

I’d try Landry, but I’d say Lindsay and Ware might be the best players of that trade. What does his TE situation look like?

Just Burton, who has been struggling lately.

Anyone have any strong feelings on who to prefer ROS between JuJu and Diggs in this spot?

JuJu has @OAK, NE, @NO, which seems better than Diggs with @SEA, MIA, @DET (plus Diggs is at least somewhat banged up at the moment). However, my other starting WR on this team is Antonio Brown, and I'm not sure how much (if at all) that should affect my decision on who to keep (gonna trade one of them with a backup RB to Hunt owner for Davante Adams). Any thoughts appreciated.

If it's PPR I prefer rolling out both Juju + Goatonio...but I realize that's easier said without me having to pull the trigger.

I know you're probably the biggest Diggs fanboy ITT (or at least used to be...and I'm sure you're aware of your own such biases).

Speaking of schedule, I think the biggest risk of rolling out both PIT WRs is that PIT@OAK game ...can easily see Conner getting all/most of the production.

(I've got tons of Antonio shares this year...hoping he gets 1 of those dumpy 1yd TDs during the OAK game, instead of Vance/Jesse)

WTF. I am starting Cameron Brate as my only TE in one of my 12 team PPR leagues.

In my other 12 team PPR I had Ebron, traded for Gronk (when Doyle came back), and then picked up Brate (when Gronk was hurt and Howard to IR).

Once Doyle went to IR, I've obviously been wanting to drop Brate, but didn't want it to come back and bite me. My opponent this week is fighting for a playoff spot, and I need a win to try to get a bye. His only TE was Jimmy Graham, but he is a huge Packer's homer.

But there are two teams that I need to win that are weak at TE as well, so I was hoping they would pick him up instead.

One is starting Njoku (meh) and he has 3!!! open bench spots. And if he wins and a few other games go his way, he can make the playoffs.

The other is starting ****ing Matt LaCosse. He is the only person in the league eliminated from the playoffs (6 of 12 make it), but the winner of the consolation bracket gets #1 pick next year.

So I drop Brate on Friday to pick up a RB handcuff, and am excited/nervous to see who put in a waiver claim for Brate. Wake up this morning and....NOTHING.

Waivers processed 5+ hours ago. Ok?

I've been toying with the idea to tell either of the teams above that Brate could help them, but don't want any soft collusion.

Tried Gronk straight for Ware and Landry, Gronk and Howard for Lindsay, Ware and Pettis. Rejected on both. But threw out some offers with other teams and managed to trade Gronk and Ito for ARob. Will sit ARob on bench next to Landry this week (playing Godwin), but might start in postseason or just hold till next year. Will start Brate at TE now until Hunter Henry ready.

FYI, for Diggs owners. His knee swelled up over night, and even though it was reported this morning that he was expected to play today, he is now a game-time decision.
Blah.
