In my three player keeper league we've had a few trades that seem a bit dirty to me, but I went with it. We've had trades after the season is over where someone trades a player that they won't be keeping (their 4th best player) to a team with only 2 decent keepers for a draft pick in the upcoming draft. I think we are finally having rosters locked after the season so no trades or add/drop that impacts potential keepers.

Seems fine to me considering Gurley is a loaner for half a season.

keeper leagues just aren't good unless you know you have all like-minded people. regular fantasy players just don't "get it"

Haven't played a keeper league but seems annoying to me that teams that are out of it can have huge impacts on who wins the year. Do any keeper leagues do no keeping of traded players? (May be a dumb idea I haven't put a ton of thought into it, but seems to get around the superstar being worthless to an out of it team so trade for mediocre keeper problem)

I'm curious, what's the right mindset?

I agree with the post above, all the keeper leagues I've heard about end up with 2-3 superteams competing for the title (and the money) after keepers-for-studs deals go through. As a light trader who prefers to work the wire, that would piss me off, but I know that it may be the right move in a multi-year strategy.

Rafiki, that sucks for you but this guy knows he's angle-shooting even if you ignore precedent. You passed a vote to end the policy before the season! Hopefully he's just extreme negotiating and pouting and you can resolve it.

The keeper league I am in discourages such trades by giving weekly cash prizes for high point total and having a consolation playoff for eliminated teams with winner receiving the first draft spot in the following year. It's not perfect, but we rarely have trades like that. We do have a guy that is 1-7 with Julio that I am afraid may deal him for assets. I've been thinking of offering Sutton and Ridley to him and know there would be a couple guys pissed about it.

I just don’t understand why he could choose any two players and a pick, and he chose your 7th round pick. I would have gone with 1st round. Maybe that’s the issue.

But what’s wrong with that? Happens in real sports too.

Most people are just pissed they didn’t jump on the opportunity.

I don't see anything wrong with it. More people in my league should be pulling these trades. I don't send many offers of young low draft pick players simply because most league members don't see the value like we do. My team in that league is loaded. We start 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex with .05 pts per return yard.

Cousins, Big Ben
Mixon, Cohen, Collins, Ware, Foreman
Antonio, M. Thomas, Sanders, Lockett, Sutton, Ridley
Ertz, Cook

I'm trying to deal Sutton and Ridley for RB depth to teams with few assets and getting no bites.

Yeah. Nothing wrong with trades like that. It's part of the fun of a keeper league, so I don't know what's the point of doing a keeper league if you are going to try to discourage what makes it different. I'm in a keeper league that sounds similar to rafiki, three keepers for a max of three years and players can't be kept if they were drafted in the first three rounds or if their keeper slot (increasing 2 rounds each time kept) falls in the first three rounds. His trade would never happen in my league mostly because, as you would expect, the team with Gurley is first in the standings. But a 7th rounder is nothing, especially considering it's really like 1.5 rounds later when you factor in all the players who have been kept. Lindsay can be kept with a 12th rounder in my league, and I'd say he's currently about the 10th best keeper. Carson can be kept with a 10th rounder, and I'd put him about the 15th best keeper. Gurley is the absolute best player a team can get for ROS. I would consider Lindsay, Carson and a 3rd rounder for Gurley as the minimum for fair value in my league. If Gurley were available in my league, I'd offer Mack (keep for 10th), Drake (keep for 10th) and my 3rd. But I don't think rafiki should have to rework his trade, and the guy quitting is just a whiny b!tch.

Are we accepting any and all offers for Leveon Bell in non-keeper leagues?

probably too late but in case anyone is up would appreciate some help with a lost cause.
one of my 12 team ppr league decimated with injuries and bye week so I have to play this bunch of bums.

need to decide which ONE to BENCH:

enunwa @ mia
jakeem grant vs nyj
anthony miller @ buff
tajae sharpe @ dal
david moore vs lac

also need huge upside so should I gamble on elijah McGuire or go with awful but volume of barber?

appreciate any feedback.

If Doug Baldwin puts up another < 5 point game does he start getting droppable in 12 team leagues? What about 14?

I think Barber. I think Grant for upside, Moore and Miller. Either bench Enunwa or Sharpe. Can't say I follow either closely enough to pick, but I know it would be Enunwa's first game in a while so Sharpe probably safer.

@RBK, wow. I mean, wow.

I'm a Jets fan, so take my help with a grain of salt.

I'd bench Miller and Maguire. I need to see it from Maguire first before inserting him into any lineup. Also, Barber has started to look like a real RB lately, plus RoJo being out could help get him more touches.

Miller's team shouldn't need to throw much against the Bills. On top of that, the Bill pass D is pretty good.

Chubb at 70 and Marvin Jones at 60.5 seem like bad lines to me, and they should feel bad when I profit from them. Guess game flow is an issue for Chubb.

Juju's line is 69.5 vs Ravens pass D? What am I missing, hurricane there?

Total yards or just rushing for Chubb?

Just rushing. I think I like it the least of the 3 though. That Juju line though, woah. Now he's gonna get injured for sure

And Juju I think it’s just based off of Ben on the road usually and AB has been coming on. I like it though
