Yeah, Gurley just gets way too much red zone exposure to ignore.

That being said I wouldn't fault someone for taking any of those four backs #1 overall. You can't go wrong.

I'm taking DJ one. He has the highest ceiling and his floor is fine but I'd have no problem taking Gurley at #1 either. That offense is just too good. Nothings really changed for him so he's probably safer than DJ. Bell is great at what he does but I'd be concerned with him starting out slow again this year. Zeke is a clear tier below those 3 and I'd actually put Fournette ahead of him at this point. It's super close though.

Despite what ADP & ECR says, Zeke should be a tier below TG/DJ/Bell, regardless of format.

I'll concede that Zeke may be the worst of the four but he is certainly the clear RB4 if he is. Keep in mind he only played 10 games last year and had the same pace as Bell.

Zeke may be #4, but he is closer to being #5 than #3 imo. I'm with Wolves in that I don't see a big difference between him and Fournette. Dallas might have a slightly better o-line, but JAX should have more favorable game scripts for the running game, and Fournette seems to be a flat out better RB skill wise. I mean Alfred Morris was a good deal more efficient than Zeke last year on the ground. I just don't see him as some transcendent talent that the narrative of his high draft position combined with his big rookie year seem to convey to a lot of people, and the Dallas O could easily be a dumpster fire this season.

Zeke gets 6 TDs a season stolen from him by Dak too. Bortles has 7 rushing TDs in 4 years.

Just acquired Gronk for Drake + Engram. Gronk can be kept for 1 season after this. Engram and Drake for 3 seasons. How'd I do?

FWIW I'm going for a it this year. 7 keepers and I have #2 pick My team will be.

Wentz
DJ
Saquon or Bell
ODB
Amari
Gordon
Crowder
Gronk

I also have 3 picks in the 2nd round

Unless this is a four team league you’re team is obv amazing.

The Gronk trade makes sense since you’re going for it this year but in a vacuum you gave up way way too much.

A couple things. If you're going for it this year I take Bell. This might be Bell's best season ever. The last of peak Bell we ever see. Also I would move Amari for another receiver like Tyreek or like Thielen + Cohen. People still don't believe in either really and lots of those same owners will think they are buying low on Amari.

It's nuts how bad the so called experts are. It'll be crazy if I'm right and the experts are wrong. I can see Watson busting.......Jimmy to a certain extent has some bust potential. No way Engram busts and only way Tyreek busts is if Mahomes sucks.......which he doesn't imo.

I also thought Foles was awesone but he ended up really sucking.........oh wait nm...........

On fantasypros PPR rankings they have Hill at 32 overall and WR 15 and Engram at 62 overall and TE 5. At those picks I don’t see any way you don’t get at least that return value. I see Engram as a steal and Hill might finish right around the 10-15 range for WR.

As that article said, Hill had a whopping total of 4 red zone targets last year. The Chiefs lost 62 targets in Albert Wilson, and added Sammy Watkins, who will almost assuredly get more looks than that.

Also changing QB's to a second year guy, who I really like the potential of, but who is clearly unproven and certainly has at least some question behind how much free reign he will be given by the coaches/scheme.

Hill was great last year, but heavily reliant on big plays, which while he is undoubtedly great at creating, tend to have a large amount of variance year to year. He is far from a lock to get any more targets and Mahomes will be hard pressed to match Alex Smith's deep ball numbers from last year (even if most of the credit for those numbers is given to Hill).

He is young and could certainly keep improving (and Mahomes could be a super stud and they both go off), but he needs to add at least ~25 catches, ~500 yards, and a ~2-3 tds to be in Antonio Brown territory. That's a tough sell. I don't mind him being drafted where he is, esp in a tough competitive league where ceiling matters more than floor, but I don't see him as some huge lock value pick there, and if you have a solid edge in your league, he may be a guy to avoid there imo.

Also never know when he'll choke another pregnant lady or something equally as stupid, though people (me included) are still drafting guys like Zeke, Leveon, Lesean, and even Josh Gordon no problem so I doubt anyone is too concerned about that.

Penny broken finger all but guarantees Chris Carson ADP to rise significantly in the coming weeks.

Good! I'm not sold on anyone in the backfield not named Russell Wilson; let everyone else spend draft capital on him.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Where do you guys view Dez? I'm drafting in a soft-ish 12-team PPR league on Sunday night on ESPN.

ESPN has him at WR55 in ADP and at WR57 in rank.
FFCalc has him outside the top WR70 in ADP and outside the top WR80 in rank.
FantasyPros also has his ADP at WR52 and rank at WR57.

I think I have him significantly higher, and it doesn't matter where he lands.

WR2 with upside. At his current ADP he is almost free and mostly forgotten in mock drafts. Guy can still play at high level - I guess it all comes down to if he wants to or not.

He wasn't in the WR2 class last year (I think around 25th std and 24th in PPR - he played all 16 games last year IIRC), where he had an established team, and a job. Guys like ODB clearly bump him down. No training camp? New team? Aging?

Not sure what teams he could go to get him better production than last year.
GB? NE?

What if he ends up in Cleveland? NY jets? Buffalo? Nearly undraftable.

non-ppr 10 team keeper qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1 te, 1 flex

which 3 do i keep w/ the 8th pick

dion leiws (16th round)
diggs (6)
kelce* (6)
hopkins (2nd round or 13th overall)
derrick henry (7)
baldwin* (3)
crowder* (16)

*Can only be kept this year (at some price) where everyone else can be kept this year and next.

I think I have to go dion lewis and diggs then I have the go between hopkins or kelce (who now is worth a 5th since diggs is 6th) & I'm leaning kelce. I think if I don't keep hopkins I could end up with julio/ODB & freeman/gronk/evans

Not being kept:
gurley, le'veon, DJ, antonio, hopkins, barkley, odell, julio, fournette, keenan, AJ green, freeman, evans, gronk, hilton & mccaffery
